Great Brook Ski Touring Center: what do users think?
Marc Ubaldino: Fun trail network
Pete Darnell: Nice hiking trails
Stephen Harte: This is the best (and one of the only) places for nordic skiing anywhere near Boston. The trails are very well groomed and there are choices for all ability levels. Flat fields, rolling meadows and more challenging woods trails. For me, the trails in the woods are the best. There is nothing like skiing on groomed trails while in the middle of the forest. While you can't warm up in the barn afterwards, they do have a great selection of rental equipment.
Billy Hackett: Great place. Great people.
RAPHA BIOTECH: Great place for beginners, service staff is very friendly, Bella is very cute
Boris Dzikovski: A lot of nice trails. Great job of grooming.
Mark Dennen: No longer have ski rentals. Still great trails and very well groomed for ski and skate. Enforcing mask rules is important but every time I went near the start I would hear staff screaming insults at the top of their lungs at somebody for not wearing a mask. It kind of ruins the peaceful atmosphere. They need a class in conflict de-escalation.
John Carolan: Love it!! The BEST day hiking trails, very well maintained, easy parking, large variety of trails, nice biking access, family friendly, etc.
Tony Manzella: Great mountain bike riding.
jeff taylor: No snow for skiing.
joe s: Great Hunter Pace . Great turn out
Debbi Slavin: Favorite place to cross country ski or hike. Loved it when they had snow. Plenty of parking, reasonable rates. Very busy on weekends.
Yossi Vaknin: Nice place
Howard Chauvin: Loved this place. Plenty of land and trails to explore for all abilities and ski types... will definitely go back
Michael Roberts: Excellent, beautiful, lots of great options for XC skiing
Unknown Error: Great place... Except...Need more night trails now that a million people are going now and they need more toilets as well
Doc Kram: All we need is a hot coco stand.
Gene Petrella: Best cross country skiing in the Boston area
Meg Curry: Always enjoy my hikes here.
Yuval Merhav: Such a great asset having this place so close to Boston.
Martin Cilwik: Conditions were excellent. Miles of trails. Fresh air

Weston Ski Track: what do users think?
Donny Dasilva: Funny place
Pam Beatty: Considering the warm weather the groomed track and attention from staff was great!
Ari Summit: I took an adult beginner lesson. Ellie was a wonderful instructor! She was able to teach the group and give attention to individuals too. I learned so much.
Nadia Hassounah: It's great that Weston Ski Track is close to the city, and offers those living near the city an opportunity to cross country ski. It's a nice track. However, what wasn't clear before my most recent visit is that they will sometimes close portions of the trail. This wasn't evident when booking the reservation, which is my biggest complaint. When we showed up, we were surprised to see that most of the track was closed and a very tiny portion was still open. It really wasn't worth the trip over there, the cost of the ski rentals and pass itself, which ended up being close to $40. Pretty disappointed in this experience.
Andrew Zoller: Decent place to learn XC skiing, staff is all great. Conditions and snowmaking course is not the best/ pretty small. Closest option to Boston.
J1gg5: Good Ski tracks for beginners!
Max Bezdelnik: 👍
Adam Synnestvedt: I'm glad they're already making snow and I was out there this week with my Nordic team and although slow it was good skiing. Edit: 1/16/23 They got some great snow today! Conditions should be good in the near future.
Paul Griffin: Good start to get in shape for when it snows.
Siobhan Lacey: Had Deb as a Ski instructor and I was there for more moral support for my partner who it was their first time doing this activity and I did not appreciate the attitude and snarky comments I received from Deb the instructor. It made me uncomfortable and so I did not attend my lesson with Deb. Seems like when your there to be a support for someone you get knocked by the instructor. Not very friendly and too snobby.
Peter Mahoney: I have been skiing there with my club for 5 years. The people there are really nice and are super helpful. They make snow whenever they can which allows me to ski a lot more then I otherwise could.
Fatemeh Tousi: We took a ski lesson for adults and kids at Weston Ski Track and we all loved it. We had a great day and learnt a lot. The staff and instructors were all very helpful and professional. We will be back soon.
d keating: Now back to being a golf course!😁
A. Makela: Great customer service, great track and super lessons by instructor. Equipment is tops! I will return!
Marloes R: Great reliable xcountry skiing spot. Snow making ensures this is usually in operation for the winter.
Jill Stewart: Loop
Z ZY: If you want a quick intro on how to ski before heading to the mountains of NH and VT, this place is the close stop to go
Christine Dwyer: Fabulous place to learn how to cross-country ski.
Zina Dubowy: Extremely disappointed that this is the second year where reservations are required due to COVID-19. Skiing is outdoors so there is no logic behind this policy. Every time I tried to make a reservation I was unable to get one. I can’t think of any other ski places that require such a thing!!!
Joseph Rahamim: Fairways had more wheed than real grass but greennfees are fair
Michael Greeley: Great layout unfortunately not in very good condition

Sourced Adventures Boston: what do users think?
Ashley Kosowicz: Went tubing then to a Brewery for a friends birthday a while ago and it was so organized and so much fun!!
Ash Vic: Had a blast! Nice little tubing adventure for folks [us] who hadn't played in the snow since childhood. The Brewery was cool too. I just wish they had other options like cider for non-beer drinkers. Jamie was cool too! Definitely recommend and will look for other outings with Sourced. - Mrs. Osinubi (Roxbury, USA)
Brian McMahon: Went on a snow tubing trip with these guys a few years ago. It was super fun. Really nice people and went to Wormtown Brewery afterwards.
Nancy Moses: Awesome experience! would definitely recommend and will be planning a girls trip!
Serena Gilchrist: My friend and I had done this adventure for the first time and had a blast! It was great to snow-tube and then have a meal and beers afterwards at one of the local breweries. The tour guides were great and it was nice to meet other people at the same time. I would definitely recommend this to other people!
Akshaya saraf: This place is amazing! It's so much fun and extremely safe. They take of everything. I highly recommend this place for a date or family activity or a friend get together.
Derick Depina: This event is not worth your time or your money. You are better off finding a mountain that offers tubing and driving yourself. First the buses were 30 minutes late for pick up and then they only had one bus which didn't hold enough seats for the amount of people who signed up to go. The second bus took another 45 minutes to arrive, got in a fender bender upon arrival (before we loaded onto the bus). The guide shortened the tubing portion of the event when it was requested we shorten the bar portion (they had to make their $). The food offered was not good we ended up just ordering food from the actual bar. When I asked how they would rectify the situation because nothing went as advertised I was offered 25% off my next excursion but there won't be a next. You pay $100 for some tubing and a bus ride no drinks included. Just drive up with friends and save yourself the hassle.
Andi Sarkisian: This trip was so much fun! Would definitely do again.
Blake Simons: Went on a snow tubing and brewery trip a few years back with a friend from Texas. It was so much fun!!! Would definitely recommend!!
Erin Bressler: My husband and I used Sourced Adventures in Boston to take an awesome trip snow-tubing, followed by dinner and a great local craft brewery with friends. It was easy, affordable, and a great way to spend a Saturday! I highly recommend using this company for escapes from the city life whenever you want some good old fashioned fun.
Nicholas F: Had a great time. It was easy for us to just show up and enjoy the day!
Michelle Piscottano: Awesome time! The host was great very friendly and accommodating. Tubing was fun and at the brewery we played fuss ball with others that were there. I definitely would do it again although it was a trip for us as we live in Connecticut.
She-Ra Power: So much fun. Me and my girl are going again this Saturday. They weren't messing around with good times and hearty dinner. Our food was from "Rail Trail". We loved it so much, we drove up to eat there from RI.
Jenna Adams: Super fun night of tubing, brews and great food with friends! And the best part is- you don’t even have to drive!
Loucie St. Germain: I did the snow tubing trip with Sourced Adventures! It was pretty awesome and I had a blast. Everything was well organized. They picked us up on time (I had the Newbury street pickup) and kept everything lighthearted and fun. I would 100% recommend! 😊
Mitsuhiro Nishihara: This tour was very fun and I enjoyed the snow tubing and local beer. The tour guide always took care for us. I appreciate her hospitality.
syed jafer Hussain: one of the best experience around Boston for snow tubing. the whole day was loads of fun with Pizza and Brewing trip. everything was worth it.
Elena Nugent: I loved it! It is so much fun! We got so lucky with the weather. and brewery itself was amazing with games, yummy beer a lot of fun people and good food!
Tara Sprawka: Awesome time with this group! From a girl from FL, the snow tubing was so much fun! & the brewery was even better.. Friendly, fun people and great beer!
Celia Shen: Terrible and unprofessional services with rude guides to customers. If you want a joyful time for the holiday, don’t go for them.

REI: what do users think?
Gabriella Zoia: DO NOT GET YOUR SKIS TUNED HERE. Did a horrible job and left deep gashes after hand scraping them. Take your business elsewhere. When I came back to report it I was told that I was essentially making it up and that the other shop that checked them out was just trying to sell us a new pair of skis. We were given 100 gift card at REI… small consolation when they’ve ruined a 1200 pair of skis. I’ve never been treated so poorly by retail staff.
Kira Clingen: This place needs more staff and better training, especially in their bike department. Came in with a flat tire - they replaced it, it went flat the next day. Went back, they replaced it again, it went flat. Took it to another bike shop - there was a massive shard of glass in the rim that they didn’t find either time. Out $30 and multiple hours.
Elisabeth Graham: The staff at REI Cambridge is so helpful and kind. I ordered the wrong shoes and they assisted with an easy exchange, communicating what they had in stock and what they didn’t. I’m so grateful to have this neighborhood store close by.
Steven Zelek: Service is good, but please be aware that this store mostly stocks: clothing, bike gear, climbing gear, and a small selection of accessories. It's a small store - so just have the right expectation.
Samantha Kanach: Love this REI! The people who work are so wonderful. I had to bring my bike in for maintenance and Nicoletta was so attentive and friendly and got my bike in tip top shape in no time. This REI is right next to some great local coffee shops and breweries so you really can’t go wrong here
Nancy Ramsdell: Always top quality and helpful personnel.
ambassador smudge: nice place to get some gear.Since 1938, we have been your local outdoor co-op, working to help you experience the transformational power of nature. We bring you top-quality gear and apparel, expert advice, rental equipment, inspiring stories of life outside and outdoor experiences to enjoy alone or share with your friends and family. And because we have no shareholders, with every purchase you make with REI, you are choosing to steward the outdoors, support sustainable business and help the fight for life outside.
Sam Berry: Had a great experience buying climbing shoes and a harness here. Not a huge location so might not have the selection of some larger stores but everyone was super friendly and it had what I was looking for
Lisa: Small store but very pretty inside, like a boutique. But they signed me up for a membership without asking! They were not super knowledgeable.
Emily Heckel: This is a (beautifully designed) T-shirt and water bottle store. I wouldn't really call it an REI. Came in looking for liner gloves and trekking pole baskets and they don't stock either. In fact, they barely stock any gear at all, and this is on purpose. They do have a few cycling items I think, and a comically tiny climbing section that I have to assume is only there for aesthetic purposes. The target demographic seems to exclusively be cyclists and people who wear overpriced Patagonia to brunch. The staff were super nice and they were knowledgeable about the items I was looking for (just didn't have them). They seemed quite used to responding to customers' confusion about the store. I think they should rename the store, or make it more clear online that this isn't a true REI as most of us know it. Overall, it felt a bit like being in a gallery - they display (limited) gear in an attractive way, but they intentionally don't stock it. Seems very focused on the aesthetic over the practical, which clashes with the brand concept. I can't think of a reason why someone would go to this store on purpose. I ended up driving to Reading and finding everything I needed, and I guess I'll be doing that moving forward. It's unfortunate, I live in Cambridge and I would shop here all the time if it was a real store and not a display window.
Mike Alexandersen: Google shows this as "camping store", but when i went in there, they said "this location doesn't have a camping department; were actually the smallest store in the coop." Sigh, pointless.
Amit Bergman: Nice and knowledgeable employees
Jeffrey Alperovich: This is not your typical REI! It’s a solid REI shop and had some great sale items, but the selection of everything is limited just due to the nature of the store size/location. Still recommend REI to all just set expectations accordingly! Staff were friendly and helpful as always
Christian Torres: Excelente servicio. La atención fue bastante buena. La chica que me atendió, me dio una buena asesoría. Lo recomiendo mucho.
Carrie Cole: Fantastic store! Beautiful, big, nice layout, very friendly and helpful staff. That area is really changing and that's a great addition.
Edson Lacerda (Ed): Customer service at this store in Cambridge MA,is TERRIBLE, I waited forever for someone, figured out on my own, went fitting 2 climbing helmets, then finally a guy came asking “did you take the tag out” harshly almost accusing me of doing it so, and just left. So did I 😞Very first time I’ve been treated so bad at REI store, this is the first and last time I come to this one!Meanwhile Framingham, which is my actual main store is AWESOME,It’s totally the opposite, doesn’t even look like it’s the same chain ☹️
Diot Sébastien: The store was good and the staff was helpful. However this store does not stock most of REI's merchandise and it's painfull to search on the website if they have my size for each shoes.I wanted to buy a very common pair of climbing shoes but I have to try differents size, they don't have any stock in 150 miles around ... My only way to go through is to order each shoes that I want to try : 199$ each ! (which is already very expansive).Big no for me.
Petal Niles: Had trouble with a gift card and staff was incredibly kind and patient in finding a solution! They also offered good advice on winter coats and had a small but nice selection of items on the floor
Swabarna Mukherjee: Customer Service. Love them. Went there to exchange an Arcteryx Shell which I bought last year but it was one size bigger than I wanted and have been thinking of getting one size smaller.Procrastinating for months, yeah I know, I finally made the trip only to find out it was just 3 days that 1 year passed. Damn I was sad however the manager honored it. They are excellent. Walked me through the steps and did whatever neededand they helped me put in an order. The site is new and parking is tough however the area is undergoing construction. Hoping to seethe area complete with all the construction done. Newer location nearer to my place and well they have a lifelong customer thanks to their excellent service.
Nicholas Manning: Does NOT stock camping gear, which REI is known for.
Richard Salmonsen: Really great staff! If they do not have what you need in stock they very nicely order it for you

Sun & Ski Sports: what do users think?
Jonathan A.: Excellent selection and good prices
Linh Le: They have great rental rates@
Thaís Dandolini: I got there today 10 minutes before closing, as I was working, I coudn't get earlier. So, I needed help with my snowboard and the boy at the service shop area and Douglas were really nice to me, they both gave me the attention I needed and resolved my problem. I would definately recommend this place and I'm definately coming back. Thank you both for helping me out!!!
Liam Ginn: Unparalleled customer service here. I didn't expect to be helped when I showed up two minutes before closing, but these guys stayed an extra fifteen minutes past close to make sure that they could help me install my bindings on my first ever snowboard. Truly a next level retail experience. I strongly recommend to anyone interested in running, hiking, or snow sports.
john courduvelis: Outrageously great help from "JP" to purchase full gear for son. Extremely knowledgeable, able to discuss in depth, kind, courteous, efficient, patient, pleasant. 0% salesperson vibe, 110% helpful knowledgeable expert guide vibe.Everyone we encountered here was incredibly friendly and helpful. Highly recommend this place. They are knowledgeable, helpful, kind. Can help people at any level.Bought full gear (skis, boots, bindings, poles, helmet, boot bag) for our son last week, incredibly happy with purchases.
Kendrick McDonald: Very knowledgeable staff. Always they’re jumping to assist you. I came back because my boots ending up feeling a little small. They bent over backwards to heat, mold and shape the toe bed with their technology and fixed the issue. Also, they have the best selection of snowboard/ski gear out of all the stores I’ve seen in the area.
Matilda Brandi: Would not recommend, customer service was not to my standard and by the time I got some help they said my tune up would take well over a week.
Kyle Li: Please update the business hour. Came all the way here just to find out the store closes 1 hour early.
Benjamin Corduck: Need more help.
Nicole Burke: This was our first time at Sun and Ski. Karen was fantastic! We were so grateful to have such great service. She was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to make sure we got we wanted. We will definitely be back!
Matthew Capobianco: Great place. Totally mismanaged and chaotic environment
Christopher: Great ski shop with good selection. Employees were helpful in picking out a complete snowboard set up. Alex helped us and she was great!
Chuck Curtis: Great service, really knowledgeable staff, this is why I keep coming back year after year.
Tyler Santos: Jarrod was super helpful will be back 👌🔥
Katie Campbell: Had the best experience here! Immediately walking in the door, I was greeted by employees at the cashier desk. One of the guys came over right away and helped me with purchasing skis, boots, boot bag and poles. He was very informative and gave great tips about trying on boots, what to look/feel for, and how to store long term. He was respectful of my price point for skis and only showed me options that were in that price range, which made me feel a lot more comfortable. They mounted the bindings on the skis too and it was super easy to pick them up a few days later. Cannot recommend this place enough!
Andrew Christ: This place is great the best brands for outdoor gear and the service is incredible
Sue R: We stopped in to look at patio furniture, not knowing that they no longer sold that merchandise. In spite of this, Jon Ellis couldn't have been nicer by answering our questions and providing insight from his experience selling the furniture. Anyone looking to buy or repair bikes, should stop in the store. You couldn't find a better salesman.
Anthony Kim: Like here
Amy: I walked in looking for Ski Gear after a terrible experience at some other places that left me thinking I was going to have to sit out ski season this year. Some friends of mine recommended I check out Sun and Ski Sports and, frankly, I am kicking myself I didn't come here first. Our Main goal was Ski Boots and Simon was really helpful as I looked for my new boots. I am an odd case as I used to ski like crazy but have not been on them since 2013. Simon was really patient and nice, taking the time to make sure the boots fit right, explaining what I should look for in boots, walking me through each step of making sure they were comfortable and at the end I am SO HAPPY with the ones I got. After the boots he helped us find Helmets, Goggles, Gloves, Socks. I am so stoked for Ski Season this year.I also just wanted to say I appreciate how fast people answer the phone when you call with questions.
Tucker Holland: Shop/maintenance staff was very friendly and helpful
Matthew MacDonald: Great experience with the boot fitters here. Also had surprisingly good stock for mid pandemic

Ski & Sport Shack: what do users think?
John Scriven: Came in last minute to get my skis tuned and they did an excellent job in less than an hour. Very friendly staff too.
Harrison Fish: Great service, love the polish guy
Kevin McCarthy: Excellent ski equipment, prices and service. I shopped around and these guys were the best in all three categories listed above. I am a lifetime customer.
Tyler Austin: This is the best place in the area to get any work done on your skis. They are friendly, helpful, and the tuning work is second to none. Rush service is available & they are happy to do it unlike some other shops. If you are still going to one of the other shops in the area I would give Ski Shack a try, and you can thank me later!
Nick Jacobs: Very nice people! Came for ski sharpening and they knocked $50 off for same day sharpening.
Christian TQ: Great customer service
Devin Bean: They were the absolute best! I came in with a broken binding and they fixed it within 10 minutes and were so nice.
Yappir: Laissez faire aux Polonais!
Evgeny Tokarchuk: Great service and equipment! Thank you
Michael Pugliese: Came here after sun and ski blueballed me and they could not have been more helpful and nice. Break rentals and help. Patrick was great
Austin Cournoyer: Very helpful staff, the manager was very kind and knowledgeable! Definitely going back.
Josh Hwa: Great customer service but their equipment is not made to structure/grind snowboards. Ended up with a concave/not flat base after a full tune and had to have it regrinded elsewhere. I am guessing all good for skis though.
Jeremy Blake-Johnson: Needed to have a snowboard looked at for my girlfriend. Prompt and detailed assessment, and great advice for the next purchase. Awesome staff!
Nick Penta: Me and the boys always get our boards done here before the season. Even got my moms skis done in a quick turn around. Perfect tune up, awesome employees!
Christophe Leroy: We went for a last minute ski season rental. It's too late for this, but not at The Shack:. The staff made every effort to find us the last pair.Well, it might be late for you, but the staff and management here are golden.
Jimmy Hickey: After many different visits to ski shops ranging in CO and MA, Konrad at ski and sport shack was the first to kindly say that he could put my bindings on my skis. It’s wild how quickly other shops can turn you down and change their tone really quickly when you ask them to do something they can’t do, and they know you don’t know a lot. Konrad on the other hand said he could do it and followed through. Understandably, they asked for a lot of time. In the end, they were screwed over because the brand of binding I had, Fritschi, was dragging their feet getting them the jig (a super common thing with this brand). He ended up staying late one night to totally install the bindings with no jig for me so I could have them in time for a trip to Mammoth, CA. He did an absolute impeccable job. He even took the time to walk me through all the ins and outs of the bindings, which I appreciated a lot.For your sake, and their sake, make sure you record your ticket number on maintenance jobs if you drop something off. I didn’t have mine when I called to check in and another worker was towing the line of being rude and refusing to give me an update with a ticket number because of hard it would be to find it in shop. When you go in during peak season, you get why. Just remember to record that number and have it on hand.Great people, great shop. Worth the drive, even if it’s out of your way.
Barbara Lorrayne: Best local ski shop! Very knowledgeable! Great selection of rentals and equipment to buy. They always do an amazing job servicing my equipment! Highly recommend!
Katelyn Kaizer: Awesome service! Their prices were fair and they seem to really care about their customers. Thank you so much!
fabio junior: My girlfriend and I went there to get our bindings set up and they were very fast, knowledgeable, and nice. I’m very happy with their service and will definitely be going back again! Highly recommend them!!
Jake Werth: Very helpful and easy to rent from
Nick Mo: Good service, good deals, fast

Country Ski & Sport Inc.: what do users think?
Ron H: Got fitted for new Nordica Boots & K2 skis. Had a Great Day of skiing with new gear- no issues. Great Customer Service!
Brendan Walters: Awful experience.Went to shop for a new pair of boots. Had the fitting, etc and was more or less coerced into a pair that I was told were perfect for my feet. Though they felt too tight, the guy said "his cousin was a world cup skier" or some patronizing nonsense that should have been a red flag. They told me that they would work with me to get everything perfect and offered complete assurance.Long story short, I couldn't ski for more than 20 minutes in those boots without absolutely crippling foot pain. I wore them for an hour. After returning home from Vermont I went back into the shop and patiently explained the situation. And they basically told me that they couldn't help me at all.Obviously I'll never shop here again because I have zero trust in this business. You're better off waiting until you get up to the mountain and dealing with the local ski shops there. These guys are garbage.
Briana Betts: whoever helped me today was great! he knew everything and was patient with explaining why each boot and binding fits what i needed
IfReborn: Highly recommend Worked with chip great boot fitter knows how to fit a boot and will work with you to get you into the right boot and it working for you with out any pressure. thank you.
Michelle Almeida: Rent or buy, your ski equipment here. Staff is passionate and knowledgeable about what you need to have a safe and enjoyable ski trip.
Daniel Michaels: Five stars for being nice and extremely patient with my family.
Brad Brezinski: Jay was amazing to deal with - we ordered a rooftop box for our car in the off season and he came in especially to help us install it on our SUV. He was super friendly and helpful. Highly recommended!
Lilianna: Amazing selection and very helpful staff! We were looking for ski gear for so long and we’re so happy we’ve decided to give the Country Ski & Sport a shot. They had everything we needed and their ski clothing is gorgeous! Lots of sizes/brands and lot to choose from. We’ll definitely be back for some more equipment.
Jake Bohenko: Bought a full set of gear (skis, bindings, boots) here and they were helpful throughout. Brought my girlfriend back to get her own set soon after.
Will Buckley: The staff here is very professional and knowledgeable. The selection is vast and you can always find somethings in your size.
neal gilbert: Great service, knowledgeable staff. Been going going there for years !
Christopher Kline: This store is great, with helpful and knowledgable staff. They have saved me twice! The first time they helped me find ski boots that would work around my particular foot issues so that I didn't have any more pain. The second time, I had all our stuff loaded into our 10-year old Yakima car-top Skybox when the locks failed to open any more. It was an hour before we were supposed to leave on a week-long camping trip and I went to the store to buy a new one. Before selling me one, Chip Cook (I think he's the manager) told me they wanted to try and get the box open before I spent all that money on a new one-- he and another employee spent over an hour trying to fix the issue. In the end we couldn't do it and we had to cut open the box, but he gave me all the information I needed to make a warranty claim and Yakima paid for it, no questions asked. I really can't say enough about how helpful the folks at this store are.
Ethan Mayo: Great place with lots of options and smart friendly people to help you.
George Zingus: These guys know their stuff! If you are unsure about which skis or boots are best for you they will help you make the right decision!
M: Incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, thoughtful, and enthusiastic staff that love the sport and want to help others enjoy it too. They've helped me and several friends with gear and tuneups over the years and will do free boot adjustments.
Dan Ferraro: Great shop! They took the time to fit me for multiple pairs of ski boots until I got the right fit. Knowledgeable, friendly and experienced staff that will get you in the right gear regardless of skill level.
Josh Tucker: Great shop! Small space but big on selection!
Lisa ONeill: i am extremely disappointed in this place.. i have been leasing my sons ski's from them for years. i returned last years lease the other day and they would not return my deposit because I didnt return the lease by October 31st. There was nothing at all wrong with the equipment. . i think its pretty sad that he had to keep a long time customers 100 dollars. i will never lease from them again.
Kaitlyn Seibert: Best staff, fantastic quality. The best of the best!
Tim Davis: Horrible customer service. Rude and condescending. I will NEVER go to this place again.
กินอยู่ อย่างประภา: Very attentive staffs, nice and great adviseGreat Price, best value

The Ski Monster - Appointment Only: what do users think?
Taniel Chan: I don't often go out of my way to write a review but The Ski Monster experience and team definitely warranted one. I had the chance to work with both Samantha and Andrew and the customer service displayed here is next level. The folks here are clearly well versed in their craft and did not once try to oversell. This team is a special one and I'm happy to say I'll be back often.Congrats to the founders and owners for building such a great company and team!
Joshua Lookshin: I was looking everywhere for a very specific board (Capita DOA in 148cm), but it was sold out everywhere I looked. Finally found one available here and immediately ordered it. Got it for a great deal (20% off) and was pleasantly surprised to find that tax and shipping was included in the posted price; the board was listed for $399, and I paid exactly $399. Also, to add a cherry on top, the board was delivered to me all the way down in Florida 3 days later.I will definitely look here in the future when I need new gear, and, naturally, I have already recommended this shop to my friends!
Jeremy P: Scheduled a same day appointment for new ski boots. Being my first time buying ski boots from just using rentals, I was unsure what to expect during the entire process. Samantha helped me throughout the entire fitting process, answering all the questions I had. Samantha was very friendly and very knowledgeable about the boots she had me try and ensured I was getting boots that fit my feet perfectly and best suited my skiing ability. The added heat mold after deciding on my boots helped make the boots fit so well. During the entire appointment, I did not feel rushed or pressured to buy anything. Such a cool store and awesome customer service that I felt confident in my new ski boots purchase. Highly recommend The Ski Monster!
Mike Girard: The Ski Monster is a gem of a shop and a huge asset to the greater Boston ski and snowboard scene. Super knowledgeable and friendly staff deliver a level of service that I haven’t experienced anywhere else. Plus, you can avoid the parking challenge and leave your car at home - the 2 minute walk to north station makes The Ski Monster surprisingly easy to get to.
Bryn Dunbar: I went to Ski Monster last year (2022) to buy skis and boots. The staff was very kind and knowledgeable, and it was an overall great experience. I got my skis tuned this year (2023), and everything went seamlessly and as expected. Would recommend!
Yitian Peng: ski tuning was super rushed, agreed to remove rust on edges but didn't happen. edge work was a disaster, not to mention the price. I had to go to another place afterwards. I would never go back for service again. specially when you have to book 10-20 days ahead for such a half-axx job.boot store used to be great, i have not had recent experience there, thus 3 starts.
Panda Man: Good service, staffs were so helpful, will definitely come back
Colleen Clare-Coen: I can't say enough nice things about this place! It was recommended to me from someone I met skiing @ Sugarloaf. They are a bunch of young kids that run it and they make it so fun. I highly recommend working with Tate. She was fabulous and helped me make the best decision for my investment is a beautiful high quality outfit for my trip to Utah! You can't go wrong. They have the best designer lines and also have have middle of the road lines too. I love my outfit and will be sending family and friends to their business. I'll be back for sure!!
Theodore Lund: My wife was fitted for boots by Dylan who took the time to understand her foot issues, explain what he thought would help her, identified several pairs of boots that could relieve the pain and numbness in her foot and was very patient through the whole process. Highly recommend his services.
Jim Rose: I had a bad experience with ski/boot fitting and would recommend people to go elsewhere (REI). I wear a size 12 sometimes 12.5 sneaker and was sold a pair of 28.5 boots, being told they just needed to break in. After 10 or so trips to the mountain my feet were still in pain. I went to get a second opinion at a different store, and they were shocked that I was fitted for a 28.5 and not a 29.5, which is what I ended up going with and is a much better fit. As an intermediate I also was sold skis that after doing some research are more geared towards experts. I don't think anyone working here meant to do anything wrong, and it's a cool store, but at the end of the day I wasted hundreds of dollars because someone didn't do their job properly. Won't be returning here again, and the appointment only aspect is also a negative.
Jay Block: Tate and Dylan: The most fun I've ever had spending $1,300 last year and $1200 again today - (February 23, 2023). Today it was Tate. She made it an extraordinary “experience.” A ton of fun, very educational, and… I walked out with everything I need to stay warm and dry after 30 years of using the same 2- piece, throwback Phonix ski suit! :-)Then last year, after taking a few years off from skiing, that 69 year old New Englander, decided to get back into it, and purchased new boots, skis, bindings and poles. Dylan - one of the owners - provided personalized expertise to custom fit me into the right equipment (and it was performed “beyond” my high expectations).I've been skiing all my life - been to hundreds of ski shops worldwide. None, not even the best out west or in the Alps, compare to The Ski Monster for quality, service, selection, and price. Kudos.
William Cary: This place is awesome. Online ordering is a breeze. Ordered something I didn't need last year and messaged them; on the same day they managed to stop the order from going out! Shipping is ridiculously fast, and return process/policy is amazing. Everyone at the Ski Monster is the best, and their selection is amazing! 12/10, will definitely buy from again.
DrPrang Dentist (prang_piyarat): Very recommended
Margo Lee: Gekas in the basement gave me the best tune up I’ve had in years!!
Sam Lloyd: I’ve been to a ton of shops around the country and have always left feeling a bit let down. This is the first shop I’ve been to that has the selection I’ve always wanted to see. The appointment I had meant that I wasn’t rushed and had time to talk to an experienced and thoughtful employee. I was never told what I wanted but had a conversation about it. I couldn’t recommend it more.
Leslie Abascal: Visiting from out of town and we were recommended to come here but no one told us it was by appointment only. Only needed a face covering mask which it would have taken all of 5 minutes. Said an appt would be available in about an hour. When asked for recommendations- none were given. Very disappointed. Staff in front were not helpful and kind of rude
Amanda Cusack: Luc was incredible! Helped fit me into some new ski boots, pick out new bindings and had my skis ready to go within 20 minutes. Love this shop, would highly recommend.
MrXRAYKAT: Dude…WHAT AN EXPERIENCE. I’ve been skiing for 15+ years and have had 3-4 pairs of boots and I was always in pain constantly, I got used to it but knew it wasn’t right. Andrew(who is absolutely incredible) showed me that my feet were slightly wider with a mild arch. Also sized between 26.5-27.5 which puts me in a weird spot. We sized down and found a wider fitting boot and for once I felt no pain or discomfort. Can’t wait to use these boots tomorrow, I’m 100% confident that I will have no issues with these new boots.Drove almost an hour to this shop and I’ll continue to keep driving that hour because the customer service is absolutely top notch. Haven’t seen anything like that in my area.
Sam Cuddy: The appointment only thing is not necessary anymore. I understand during Covid things were a little different, but that is no longer the case. I also understand maybe having appointments for just boots and skis, but there is absolutely no reason why I shouldn’t be able to walk in and buy helmets, gloves, goggles and so on. I had a gift card here that I was going to use to buy a helmet, and I also needed boots and a pair of gloves so I was just going to do all my shopping there. I booked an appointment online that I thought was for the 21st and then when I got there they said it was on the 28th. I admit It’s totally possible I made a mistake, but I’m pretty sure I selected the 21st since the 28th is the day I’m flying out to my ski trip. Anyways, they told me everyone was busy fitting boots so I would have to make a new appointment for that, and the only boots appt available I would be able to make over the next week was the night before I fly out. I then asked if I could walk 10 feet to the helmet section a buy one and they told me no and that I would have to make another appointment for that as well, even though there were two girls sitting at the front desk doing a job that should be very easy for one person to handle. one of them could have easily walked with me to pick one out but still the answer was no. Looked to me there were about 5 customers in the store and 7 staff members. I was going to spend $1000+ at this store, but instead I’m not spending anything, and also got a refund for the gift certificate I had. I will not be shopping at this store, I genuinely don’t know how they’re still in business. I can only imagine how much money they’re missing out on.
Michele Casavant: I bought the the Thermic heaters. I was not shown how to use them. Missing from the package was the charging cable. Then a usb converter plug was not provided either.
Alexander Bakos: Awesome service! One of the owners shouldn’t laugh. Highly recommend!
