Kenneth Sigler: Sales team over promises and does not deliver, the billing department and their rules do not follow the proper flow and not willing to negotiate or do correctly. Hubspot does not follow ethical guidelines and would not recommend them.
James Chu: I've used multiple hubs from HubSpot's product suite. I've also used Salesforce, Marketing Cloud, Marketo, and others. HubSpot is the best tool for integrated marketing to sales performance. I love the software and the analytics it provides.
Charlie: Over hiring then laying people off by placing them with unreachable metrics is criminal. If you're looking to join a hive mind and just crank out code, this cult is for you.
Asif Ehtesham: Extremely shady business practices. The salesman oversold us on the capabilities. Made us pay for "onboarding" only to find out onboarding is only to stay on top of your work and not any help. At every interaction, they tried to upsell more stuff, technical blocks etc. The software is extremely complicated and not for small to medium size businesses. To get any use out of it, you have to upgrade to enterprise level which is $$$$ and then you are left on your own. Still, there are features that require more upgrades. Make note that there is no trial period and you are on the hook for 12 months even if you realize a day later it was a mistake. We realized it in 2 weeks and they made us pay for 12 months. This is the most horrible experience i had in my 7 yrs selling on e-commerce. Make sure you research fully what you are getting into.

They really focus on serving small and medium size businesses and understand that a cookie cutter approach rarely works. The ROI is clearly there. Shout-out to Aaron Schneider, Neil McCarthy, Ashley Ayer for creating an excellent customer experience. 5 stars and thumbs up all the way!
Sarah Crawley: Hubspot appears to have all functionalities you need out of the box, but it lacks key features when integrating through the APIs.For example, you cannot subscribe or unsubscribe users from mailing lists on Hubspot. Hubspot uses subscription types for this purpose. Unfortunately, one major failing, and the reason we moved away from Hubspot, is that you are unable to develop your own external management page for subscriptions. The API does not allow a user to be resubscribed once they have unsubscribed through the API. So whether it be by accident or on purpose, once a user uses an external management page to unsubscribe, they can never again change their mind and resubscribe. This 'feature' is only available through the Hubspot interface. We use integrations across many of our web sites and it is critical for us to be able to manage subscriptions from these sites.We have now moved back to MailChimp. Complete waste of time! Do not believe their sales people.
Jeff Jackson: Hubspot doesn't care about startups and SMBs, reps will tell you anything - including lies - to get you locked into a contract.I signed up for a free trial and setup a call with their product manager. When the product manager found out I am part of a very small company, her attitude immediately changed from positive to negative, and she rushed through the call - showed that she was annoyed when I was asking questions and wanted clarification. She then abruptly ended the call saying she has another call to attend to and will send follow up information. That never happened.I then reached out to the sales rep and during the phone call, she was very pushy and was providing me with false information just to get the sale. I know this because I had the fine print open on their webpage and she was saying yes to all questions just to lock me into a contract.As a follow up, she answered a couple of emails, but when discovered I'm interested in a lower priced package - she stopped responding.It's too bad hubspot doesn't care about small businesses and startups, even though they claim they do. It is these SMBs that end up becoming big corporations and enterprise customers. I guess there is a reason all major corporations use salesforce and not hubspot.
Thomas Akerman: Absolutely terrible company. We have a strict no auto-renew policy for anything over a certain dollar amount. We were clear about that from the start and they drafted a contract that did not have the auto renew. We agreed to a one year term and then month to month with a 30 day notice for cancellation. Its been over a year and we gave our 30 day notice and were told we still had two months on our contract. They keep sending screenshots from their portal and claiming it is a legally binding contract. Basically they added some terms to their payment page stating that we acknowledge we are auto renewing for another 12 month term by making another payment. We never agreed to this and there isn't even a place to e-sign or check that you acknowledge the agreement.

Jesse Lopez: Their marketing platform is worthless. You are way better off using Facebook Business Suite and Google Ads Manager directly and skipping Hubspot as a middleman. Hubspot's functionality is reduced and the reporting is severely delayed. We stopped using them, but now have to keep paying due to contract. AVOID at all costs!
falgune s: Unethical business practices! The way their contracts and user agreement are run needs to be reported to Bureau of Consumer Protection!Like scammers! They sign you up for a fixed contract post demo without mentioning anything. Then pointing to an incredibly long 'user agreement' that we've signed, saying that we already bought this for 2 years!
OZZY LOPEZ: Their customer service support is Terrible. Hubspot is good at taking your money as a customer, but when you need help with something they brush you off. Super DISAPPOINTING to see that they don't truly care about the client.
James Shafer: Superior CRM platform. During the pandemic we exceeded our recruiting goals and Hubspot's ability to integrate texting and calling apps was crucial to this success. Highly recommended!

Scott S.: We are a user of Hubspot Products. We find their people to be fantastic. Unfortunately we feel we made the wrong choice with Hubspot for a CRM product. The e-mail integration works for a few days with Gmail and then detaches. If we integrate with a phone number for outbound call recording, it works for a while and detaches. It took Hubspot more than a year of customer complaints to begin to manage multiple email addresses for 1 contact, yet they have the ability to manage multiple phone numbers. I reached out to the CEO to let him know that his core products are struggling, but he is a "Linked In Influencer" and has relegated his customers to admiring him rather than interacting. Sadly, I do not hold much hope that Hubspot will be around in 10 years. updated. Issues have been corrected
Chris Wright: I have been using HubSpot for a couple of years as a small business. Overall, they offer a robust platform that helps me save time and track activity. I haven’t been able to utilize some of the marketing features but based on what I’ve seen, they’re very user friendly (landing pages, analytics, etc.). Everyone I have worked with over there has been professional and responsive, too.Would recommend this platform to anyone to automate marketing and sales.

Jenoff Van Hulle: As with others, very poor customer service. In pre-sales chat they showed that their booking tool was a solution to our problem. I bought the tool, but after that it turned out to be unsuitable. Have asked solution several times, but contact is very poor. As soon as they have your money it's very hard to reach them.
