Heartbreak Hill Running Company: what do users think?
Ngo Joke: Great place to get gear before a marathon!!!
edi santoso: Running shoes store
Nathalie Kumiega: I went in to buy a new pair of running shoes and I had a wonderful experience. I am by no means a hardcore runner but Fidelis made me feel welcome and took the time to help me find just the right pair. I would highly recommend to my friends in the market for new shoes.
Peter Rachlin: Extremely helpful and exceptional staff, good supply of running shoe, clothes and accessories. I accidentally left a bag and they went above and beyond to return it to me.
Chris Bailey: Dropped by on a Saturday, was given some very good advice and help on determining the shoes I need for my wacky ankles. The staff was friendly and got me exactly what I was looking for. Highly recommend.
Heather Moore: I was lucky enough to order one of the Adidas Lime Pulse Marathon shirts before they sold out. Not only did it arrive ahead of schedule but there was also a sweet note of encouragement sent with it. Excellent customer service! Thank you Heartbreak Hill~!
Jaime Dawes: Great store with nice selection of running shoes and gear! Staff was very helpful and accommodating when I unexpectedly needed to replace my running shoes for the Boston marathon.
Jim Olds: Nice store friendly staff
Lindsey Nally: Highly recommended this store! I’ve purchased running shoes online and have never been able to find a good fit. This was my second purchase at Heartbreak and both shoes have fit perfectly! The staff is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable about running and the products they sell!!
Brendan Bennett: Worst display of customer service I have seen in a long long time. My friend and I walked into the store, and the 2 employees behind the desk did not even look at us when walked in. No form of greeting or acknowledgement whatsoever. After browsing for over 5 minutes, looking at shoes, picking them up, checking them out, nobody had come over to us to see if we needed help or wanted to try anything on. With that, I made my decision that this store did not deserve the sale. They lost two paying customers yesterday.
Ryan Goldberg: Customer service was amazing. Placed an order online and the package came super fast. If you need something please shop here. They are great
Chan S: Exceptional service in what must be a tough time during the pandemic. Kudos to the team for maintaining an outstanding customer experience! This note in my eagerly anticipated Christmas delivery warmed my heart :)
Spencer Pozder: Very knowledgeable employees and great selection! I needed new running shoes and hadn't bought them in a while but I received enough help to feel very confident in my purchase.
George Jones: Knowledgeable, kind, strait forward, and helpful staff, with a great selection of quality products at good prices!
Joel Seah: Cosy place with great and helpful staff!
Prasad V: Excellent service. Great choice. Friendly staff.
Xylene Graves: Super patient staff and quite friendly. I was looking for the most stable and supportive sneaker manufactured for the 2018 running season and for my "flat as a board foot." (My description not theirs.) Shoe shopping is a chore and a half for me, so I was there for a little more than an hour, trying on every "most stable" sneaker with various orthotics, including my own. They must have made 5 trips to the basement for me and offered to order me at least 2 different models of shoes that they did not have in the color or/and size that I wanted or needed. They also called the Newton store to have a pair put on hold for me, for if they needed to be sent to the Boston store. In the end, I got the last pair of sneakers I tried on, more an hour later, and they stuck it out with me. Thank you!!The selection is rather small, if you really need motion control and supportive shoes, but if you are a typically footed person or runner the selection is great and high quality while not being overwhelming with too many choices. There is no New Balance because New Balance has its own stores around Boston. All sneakers are geared toward running and in adult sizes.Store is not wheelchair accessible.
Karin Bruil: Nice store, friendly staff and above all a great community open to everyone, any level of running!
Britt Ayotte: Incredibly helpful and friendly
Jamie Pidcock: Amazing service. They put me on the treadmill and recorded my running motion and explained some different options for shoes. I tried on 4 or 5 different brands and found the right fit. Great experience!
Tim Wilde: Super friendly and helpful no pressure sales people have been helping me find solid city walking shoes for years. Not just for runners!
