bruno korbar: An amazing facility, which is super friendly for non-MiT people. Make sure to bring your own lock!Edit:“Post” covid, the non-MIT prices went up and the towel service became an additional expense, something I cannot fathom to justify. It’s still the best facility in Boston, but one has to think twice about the cost-effectiveness of it.
Aruna S: My favourite thing to do at MIT outside of research. I love Stef, the swimming instructor. Hands down the best swimming instruction -- she's so fun, so good at teaching and always mixes it up w different strokes. Thank you for teaching me how to swim, Stef! You ROCK.
Brady Ward: Never been but I want to know do they have public swimming still with covid
Mabel Zhang: Greatly improved my swimming taking group lessons here. Took a handful of classes. Great instructors. Serious lessons from beginner to advanced, makes you feel like you're getting quality instruction, unlike the average lesson at a Y. Awesome clean spacious facility.
Venkatesh Rane: Great place to get a one day pass for $8 with student ID and $15 without. This sports facility has some great place to workout and play sports.
Andy Christensen: Amazing place! Needs to be experienced.
Guy Rosenzweig: The facility seems modern but sometimes there are annoying quirks, like the water in the showers fluctuating in temperature. The water in the teaching pool is kept cold during toddler classes for some reason. my son keeps shivering. Complaining didn't help. In my opinion they charge MIT postdocs way too much for a membership. The annual fee is ~$500 while at Harvard postdocs pay $30 annually!!!
Steven Warwick: Decent place but they are not always open, like during school breaks.
Mehmet Kanik: Nice sport complex. it is expensive and some part of it is old. But the best in the area.
Philip Thompson: Awesome pool. Masters swimmers are welcomed.
Nicolas Vachicouras: Great fitness center with a lot of room and not too crowded.
Siddharth Gupta: Great facility- couldn't image life at MIT without this!
Michael Giacomelli: Enormous facility with a tiny, crowded weight room.
Yi-Hsin Lin: Great pool, but check the weekly schedule first to make sure there isn't a special event when you want to go.
Сергей Муратов: A premium class gym, swimming pool and a bunch of other activities combines in a single place. Worth visiting at least once if you have an MIT ID since it's all free for you.
