G M: This company did the tile work on my daughters new bathroom. The shower was relocated and included new plumbing. Once the tile was finished, the shower would not drain. The plumber discovered the new PVC drain trap was filled with finger wipes of the grout, with perfect fingerprints visible in the marble size pieces of hardened grout. The installer was apparently too lazy to use a bucket or cup for the excess wiped grout. Not only that, but the patterned tile had several tiles installed upside down and not even close to the correct pattern. When my daughter complained, he became aggressive telling her it was the way it was supposed to look. This is the type on contractor where google needs negative star ratings.

After hanging on to the hope I could keep my dated yellow wall tile, he convinced me to reglaze it and start working with a clean slate for the floor. They helped me pick the best look based on photos of my basement walls on my phone and Joe went as far as to help me choose the proper grout color and update me when the small remainder of my order was due to arrive. Selection, communication and pricing were all top-notch. Anthony is a class act and made sure the job was installed on-time.

Amin Ariannezhad: Very bad service. I ordered a box of tile and before I receive it, I called them to return it. I was told that since the item was already shipped from the storage (20 miles away!!!) to the store, I can only get refunded for 75% of the item. 25% restock fee!!!! And they never told me before I buy it. Even after I returned it, it took them 3 weeks to refund me. I called them 3 times and every time they said they were gonna refund right away but didn’t.Update:The owner just replied and said: “This fee is clearly displayed inside the store, on all invoices/estimates”. This is also false info. Another reason for not recommending this store. I have the emails of invoice and estimates. There is no information about restocking fee in any of them. They never tell you about restocking fee, so you can’t return or if you do, they get free money from you!!!

My last two experiences have been soured by terrible delays in delivery and no answer for multiple call inquiries. They have the same generic answer each time: that they would check with the company, get the tracking information and call back. But they never call back. Our projects have been sorely delayed with contractors waiting for several days and the experience was just poor. We are still waiting for the tiles we ordered.I would not recommend this store if you have time constraints. Their delivery time estimates has never once been accurate.

Roman: I'll start with the selection, amazing selection of just about any style of tile you want. The down side is that just about everything needs to be ordered in, aside from very basic white tiles. The shipping cost to the store is not cheap, maybe it's a flat rate but again it's not cheap or fast. The staff was all friendly but at the end of the day my order was delayed, no one was able to provide a status update. They promised to look it up and call back, never did. Then when I just went to the store to check on the status in person they had the order and didn't seem to realize I had been waiting on it.It seems like overall the organization isn't great, prices are not great. I'm sure if specialty items are requested they can help but it does not conapred to shopping at the big box stores or on line. At the end of the day I would love to support local but the overall service and added cost wasn't worth it in the end.This was just one experience so I don't know if I just had bad luck. From small or urgent purchases I would not recommend the place. If specialty is what you need and you have time I'd give it a second look.

The corner shapes are all different, some sharp, some wide. They never polished the edges after either, leaving them dirty and dull. They were outsourced because this company doesn't handle stone there anymore but still charges as if they do. They never called to say they were ready although they were for a bit. Terrible product that can't even be used.

Jaycee, who helped me, was very knowledgeable about their stock, and the first 2 tiles she came up with were the best match for my criteria in the entire store. I will be ordering my tiles here.Like the other reviewer, I found these tiles cheaper online, but only for a bulk order with a minimum far above the quantity I need. I don't think it's either reasonable, or fair, to criticize a store on this basis.

Come and take a look and you will see for yourself . . .We had a few very minor glitches which can happen with a complex purchase, and as soon as I shared them they were all over it. Joseph Marks: I had a terrible experience with this store and I would not shop here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone.First, the tile I purchased here was defective, it had a residue on the surface that became apparent when my contractor opened the boxes to install and showed it to me. Worse, when I tried to contact the store to get replacement tile, I was unable to get in touch with anyone. I tried every possible choice on the phone menu and could not speak with a person. I left voicemail for the sales associate that sold me the tile and she did not return my call. The inability to contact people at the store was typical: When I first started shopping for tile, I tried to call the Watertown store to find out if the showroom was open due to COVID and no one answered, so I called the Boston store and they said yes. Later in the process I called to get pricing on some tile I had seen and again no answer, so I called Boston and they gave me the prices. Finally, I had the experience described above with defective tile and could reach no one, so called Boston again and they put me in touch with Joe in the warehouse in Watertown. Joe was a blessing, he confirmed that the entire lot of tile was defective and arranged a replacement.

She is an amazing designer who starts from your initial ideas and then comes up with a whole bunch of other ideas, some of which push you out of your comfort zone, which is great. However, she is very respectful of your wishes as well as your budget. She doesn't just try to sell you the most expensive tile. She is responsive, fun, honest and a joy to work with. I cannot recommend her more highly and feel she is the best one to go to with all your tile needs.

I even called ahead and ended up wasting my afternoon trying to pickup an order that didn't exist. The phone number listed takes you toa watertown warehouse, not the Littleton one listed. Certainly a company as big as Roma could maintain their website? It's frustrating when companies have no interest in maintaining their website. It's kind of like having a pile of garbage in front of their showroom. Their attitude -- "who cares!"

I spend $1500 in titles and the first question I asked to the salesman is if we could return any unused titles. He said as long as the box is unopened you can return it any of the titles you bought. However after the sale is completed the tiny letters at the bottom of the receipt said return are accepted but there is a 20% restocking fee and no returns on marble , glass, or discontinued titles. So out of the $1500 spended in titles $800 were in glass titles. I went to return 4 boxes or $400 in unused titles that they could have taken back for resale, make extra money because they be taking 20% in fees but they told we can't take them back because these are glass tiles. This people are trying to rip clients off with extra fees on returns or extra BS about the no returns.
