Dana Neel: I asked Barrett to come out to look at some trees that needed removal to provide a quote. They charge upfront before that appointment to have a guy come out and look at your trees. The man came and spent 30 minutes walking around looking at the trees and talking my husband through his recommendations. He said he’d follow up with a quote to do the removal work and… radio silence. I reached out to follow up a full month later and then again never got back to me. Super unprofessional and a total waste of time and money, since I wasn’t able to do anything with the advice he provided since I had to hire another arborist to do the work. What a total disappointment.

Margery Davies: Excellent work. Arrangements are easy to make, and they come when they say they are going to come, and leave documentation of what they have done. We have had them come for several years to treat hemlocks for wooly adelgid, to protect an old ash from emerald ash borer, and to fertilize the ground under all of the trees. We love the tree because it provides shade, privacy and a great place for the birds and other wildlife. We did not want to cut it down. It was out of control. Arborist Alden Johnson came out to provide advice prior to the first and 2nd time they pruned. The team Alden sent both times was excellent, friendly and professional. They cleaned up after on both our property and the neighbors property where the tree hangs over. It is not cheap to prune a tree in Boston. However, it was a much needed service for sure. Patricia Scroxton: i got aggressively tailgated and gestured at by on of these trucks in my small town!!! i was going well over the speed limit already so they should just learn common courtesy for small town driving. i was actually scared for my life being a woman on the road where a company truck is almost about to rear end me every two seconds when i’m just trying to drive home.

marcia Yousik: Sadly I had to take down a small tree in my garden. Shortly after a call a gentleman came as promised to assess the situation and give me a very reasonable price for the work. A few days later there were the men and trucks to take the tree down. Left the area looking neat, no damage to the surrounding plants
Tyler Parke: Like others, I too have been sworn at and cut off repeatedly by reckless Cambridge Landscape drivers for no discernible reason. They’ll need a serious overhaul before I ever consider purchasing their landscaping services.

Dashcam video of my run in with whoever drives truck 61 is posted for all to see on tiktok as well as sent to the company (Completely unprovoked cut off and brake check that almost ended up in an accident). If their drivers are any indication of their work I would assume it's poor at best. I'd hope some sort of reprimand would be taken with the driver, but who knows. Scumbag for sure though.

I was informed that while the company does service the Boston area, they do not service a particular neighborhood (Dorchester) in Boston. Talk about discriminatory! Definately will reach out to the city and state on this issue. I have since made appointments seeking quotes with three companies from various locations; Newton, Medford, and Jamacia Plain.

Kellyanne Mahoney: We have a large Norway Maple that is quite large to say the least, and requires a serious haircut every few years and Cambridge Landscape has always taken very, very good care of us. They even repaired a cable for us that popped out during a storm without charge. On incredibly short notice. No company cares more about their customers and community. If not for Cambridge Landscape our street would surely not have what is the best source of shade on our street. Our neighborhood is safer thanks to them with our tree maintained.
Matt Hoey: We’ve been going to Cambridge Landscape since we bought our home a decade ago and without fail, every time, they have treated us incredibly well. You will seriously not find a more ethical, skilled and fairly priced tree company. They take great care of their customers, with a sincere interest, just as they do their employees. I cannot say enough good things about Cambridge Landscape. Zero anxiety each and every time we’ve needed them.
Robert J: I was driving the other day in Cambridge, and a negligent driver from this company sideswiped my car. I honked to get their attention, but they sped off and I followed. I called the number of the company, and as soon as I mentioned the incident the operator hung up on me. I cannot afford to have an incident reported to my insurance for financial reasons, and the damage was such that my car can still be driven.Bottom line: If the people who run this company have such low moral fiber that they are willing to damage another persons property and take no responsibility, how can they be entrusted to do an honest job on your yard?
Tony Lin: Our landlord hired these people to remove some trees in the back yard.Rather than moving the small pots (12" diameter) in our driveway out of the way first, they ran into them and damaged the plants. Then they carelessly tossed them to the side out of the way and didn't even try to straighten out the plants and rebury the roots that they damaged. Considering that this is a company that is going to be removing a tree in close proximity to the building and with more of our plants and belongings in the yard, they're off to a very poor start. Can't want to see what else they've damaged by the time I get home from work.
Don Cobin: I live at a condo complex where they maintain the grounds/ They damaged the lawn a few years ago aerating the lawn. I have called on a few occasions to get them to fill the two small sections that were damaged. Two years later they still have not fixed the damage. They do a better job at the neighboring complex, but seem to ignore the complex I live at. If it was up to me I would get quotes from other landscaping companies.
Corine Bickley: Wonderful service yesterday for our annual tree trimming. I want to send a big THANK YOU to Dan Kelly and his team for solving a difficult situation with my neighbors by trimming my large (beautiful) trees near the property lines. The team allowed me to comment about each branch as I watched from the neighboring driveway, as did my neighbor, to be sure we were all satisfied with the trimming. The cleanup was meticulous, including my neighbor's garage roof (very important to that neighbor).
Ed Stepan: Very professional. I received a quote that was very competitive and cost effective for the job done. The crew arrived on time with all the proper machinery; crane, bucket, multcher, wood chipper and a hauler to cut and remove a large tree next to my house. The crew listened to my request to leave some logs for another artisan that will create bowls out of the part of the logs. I was very pleased with them. The site was completely clean after their departure.

Karen Martakos: Huge shout out to Cabral tree and landscaping for our firewood delivery this morning. Unlike some suppliers that I've used in the past, they gave me a one hour delivery window the day before, and texted me today when they were 20 minutes away. (Some previous suppliers left me sitting around all day.) They also did a fantastic job of navigating our narrow driveway and house trim to dump the wood at the far end of the driveway. (Some previous deliveries from other companies were dumped at the edge of the sidewalk, causing me to spend half a day chucking the wood to the rear of the driveway to make room for my car.) In addition, the product looks FANTASTIC - no weird, oversized lengths, or giant, knotty nuggets.I was worried about getting our firewood this year, because I had heard rumors about huge price jumps. The suppliers that we've used previously were already sold out when I called them earlier this week. Cabral not only had wood, but was $50 LESS than the supplier that we used last year (and it looks like the cord is a little more generous, too). I will be using them for my firewood every year now.

Lynne LaForce: I stumbled upon Cabral Tree & Construction, Inc. when I saw them cutting down my neighbor's trees. We have had many tree's cut down over the years but this company was the best. We needed a huge blue spruce tree cut down and a maple tree with both stumps ground. They quoted us a reasonable price, set up a date and arrived on time. While they were here they worked extra hard to make sure everything was picked up. All chips from where the stumps were ground were picked up. We never had that before with other companies. They always left a big pile. I am so impressed with this company and highly recommend them. I am keeping their card to refer friends and family. We initially booked Cabral Landscaping to take down a tree that was over 50 ft tall.Our first experience was so good that we called Cabral Landscaping again for another job.They are easy to communicate with, and they are upfront about what they could do to meet our expectations for an especially complicated job. Our latest request was to ask for the removal of a massive tree (with a trunk diameter of over 6ft and is easily over 30 feet tall). The tree was situated directly between two properties, was growing against the houses, and directly invaded the sidewalk. These guys took such incredible care when taking down the tree; this helped ease our neighbor's worry. They completed the work of removing the tree and grinding the stump with the precision accuracy of a surgeon, care, and even cleaned up after they left.We recommend Cabral Landscaping to anyone and everyone who needs landscaping or landscaping construction work. Pamela Phelan: Quick response, great prices, professional, insured; I will recommend Cabral Tree & Landscaping to all my family and friends! They removed huge limbs of a large Oak tree which had grown over a house we just purchased and others limbs that where obstructing beautiful views. To begin with our location is difficult to get to, yet they had no difficulties maneuvering their equipment on such a steep curving driveway. The Oak tree is on our side property line close to the neighbors house and ours so they needed to do this as a climb job. Their skill of accuracy of each cut and lowering of branches was amazing to watch. They chipped all branches, removed all large logs and cleaned the area of debris. I can’t say enough of this company, they did more than I expected!
Loretta Hsu: Cut more than 10 big trees. Most companies need 3 days just took them 1 day to finish. To my surprise their professional working attitude and pricing is far more better then any one else I had been worked with. Nigel Shaw: C & J provided excellent, highly professional service on multiple fronts, removing a very large downed tree (~42" dbh), taking down 3 midsize trees (20-24" dbh), and trimming/pruning 5 other large trees on our property in Jamaica Plain. They responded swiftly to our initial inquiry, provided a very reasonable cost estimate for the work - the middle range of all the quotes we received - and were able to schedule the work within 2 weeks. The crew of 6 (or 7?), who came for a full day, were friendly, honest, professional, polite, and informative while completing all the work requested and a bit more that came up along the way.
