Dan Peluso: Mike is the man! Go here mostly for repairs over purchases, but they do have drumsticks and some guitar accessories if you need em. As far as repairs go though you can tell your instruments are handled with care.
Nicholas Jacovides: After extensive research, I decided to go to Mike's Monster Guitar shop to have my guitar serviced. Mike was very pleasant and easy to converse with. He got back to me the same day to tell me my guitar was ready. Talk about fast service! I recommend Mike wholeheartedly to anyone looking for good and fast service.

M.J. C.: It's ok. Some middling vintage off brands. Not much of a selection but would do in a pinch. Owner polite but not friendly or welcoming. Ambience of a comic book shop or a thrift store. Fine for strings or pedals if you are in a pinch. I was very disappointed.

M O: Had a setup done recently on two acoustic guitars. One guitar also needed to have a top crack cleated. All was done at a very reasonable price with great turnaround. Mike was professional throughout. Availability of street parking is a plus.

Eoin Kenny: Although I got a guitar here I really like, I found some of the staff a bit rude and dismissive, like, "show me the money and then we'll talk" kind of attitude. I also spent quite a lot of money on the guitar eventually, but wasn't offered a particularly great deal honestly when you factor in tax etc. I would recommended it, but tread a little carefully.

Chip Foarde: I’ve been a customer at Mr Music for nearly a decade and have purchased everything from basic gear to one of my favorite guitars from them. Their staff is knowledgeable and friendly, but very hands-off; they don’t bother you when you just want to stop by and play some guitars. They have a very curated selection, but always have the essentials in stock. This is a textbook “mom and pop” music store, and I can’t recommend them enough.

Millicent Holder: The first time I was there in a long time, they sales clerk put ball strings and told me it was the best because the ball guitar strings cost less money. When I came today another sales clerk I saw didn’t give ball strings and I believe that’s why I paid more money then the other ball strings then I would have it the first sales clerk had help me out with my guitar strings.
Maka Espinoza Gotuzzo: The service is phenomenal! I went in with some issues as a newbie guitar player changing strings for the first time and messing it up. Peter was super kind and not only helped me fix my guitar, but also taught me how to change the strings and provided advice on how to take care of a floating bridge. The staff really cares about helping their customers and I will go back for sure!
Bud Winn: I came to the store after seeing several great Google reviews. This was my first guitar, and only 2nd or 3rd time ever holding one, so everything was new to me. Sam patiently took the time to explain the different styles of guitar and help me make my first purchase. He was great, and the rest of the employees in the store were also nice and very helpful. I had a great experience and I highly recommend!

The 3D Print Zone: My friend and I went into this shop and were disrespected by the guy who works there (not sure if he's the owner). Highly negative attitude, not sure what that guy's deal is. I would recommend finding another guitar shop where they treat their customers with respect.
Kevin Stillerman: FIND ANOTHER GUITAR SHOP! Wish I could leave a 0 star rating. The owner of the store was extremely rude and disparaging. His tone is very condescending when I asked him about how to wire my guitar. In addition the overall pricing at the store is very high including hourly rates. I encourage you to bring your business elsewhere, there are plenty of other guitar shops in the area.

(anti-virus filtering system.)---- 4 moths agoA tiny corner music store in Arlington. My be a treasure hunt for used music books.
