Veggie Galaxy: what do users think?
Jacqueline Kassis: This Restaurant is good for all try it even if not vegan or vegetarian. The food is great and they have so meny options. Ask your waiter for recommendations if you not vegetarian or vegan that’s what I did and loved it
Josh Chiou: Recommended dishes Toast, Chick'n & WafflesMore
Casey Eyring: Charges "kitchen appreciation fee" instead of building it into the cost of the food item.
John Murray: Excellent service and food.
shine bright: Greasy food the vegan chicken taste rubbery only good part of the chicken sandwich was the bread. The Buffalo Mac n cheese is good but definitely not worth going backFood: 2/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

Nicholas Lopez: I've been waiting since 2017 when I saw posts on Instagram and on my first trip to Boston i had to come here. The wait was worth it!!Everything can be made vegan and the food i had was amazing! We got the Mac and cheese bites and mozzarella sticks app and those were so delicious. I don't remember what my friends got, but i got a green street vegan omelette and the pesto was super good.I also planned on bringing food back to MD so i bought 3 things I knew i wanted and 2 of whatever the server recommended, omg all of it was amazing!I brought back the Mac n' Stack, loaded mac n cheese, and a steak and cheese. All delicious, but i got to say the loaded Mac was euphoria, the broccoli, seitan, caramelized onion 🤤Server recommended their Ruben and a burger which name I can't remember, but both really delicious; especially the Ruben. that was a bangin' Ruben with all the right flavors! Also those onion rings, that's what I'm talking about!I wish I still had the ticket to tell our server thanks, but if you read and remember us we were the 3 guys in coats Friday night. one of us ordered the Guinness and we sat at the bar style seating. And of course thank you to the chefs who are making some bomb food! The Host who saw me leave might remember, but I felt like santa leaving with a big smile and a bag full of delicious presents too :)∞/10 definitely coming back next time I'm in Boston!Vegetarian options: Everything is vegetarianDietary restrictions: Everything can be made vegan, not sure on any gluten allergies or other sensitivities

Kathryn Stainton: Vegetarian options: The whole menu can be made vegan plus a lot of great vegan dessert optionsDietary restrictions: The whole menu can be made vegan plus a lot of great vegan dessert options
Samuel Otero: Nice diner vibe. Black bean burger was too bland to finish, broc cheddar lacked sharpness and flavor was muddy, stuffed French toast was ok. Food 2/5 place 4/5.
Frederic Yarm: I've been going to Veggie Galaxy for over a decade now, and it's great to have a fun, comfort food restaurant that understands what vegetarian and vegans want to eat (it can often be so disappointing when non-vegetarian chefs make assumptions). It always raises my spirits to fly off to the Galaxy. Thank you!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More

R Ro: I work about 6 minutes from the actual restaurant and I never had a meal there until Friday, March 31, 2023. The times that they're open for breakfast is the main reason that I haven't tried VG until Friday and they don't use the popular delivery app services. Now, I pre-ordered a breakfast burrito that came with the home fries. On the website it states, if you would like a text message when your food is ready for pickup, they'll text you. If you leave the box unchecked, you will not get a text. My box was checked and, I never received a text but just went on a whim and it was ready. Next, the tofu scramble burrito, with the seitan, vegan cheese, avocado, fries and greens was bussing! It was delicious! The home fries were absolutely uneatable and unenjoyable. Appearance wise they were cut into the perfect square. Beautiful color from paprika and a little oven/air fryer browning for color. Most or if not all of the potatoes were undercooked. The onions were too acidic, overly sweet and tasted like it would've been better on a pulled pork sandwich and not on top of home fries. I was extremely upset and disappointed at the same time. I'll pay good money for good food. But when you pay a decent amount of money for your first experience at a restaurant that has such dedicated customers and a social media following, I expect much better than getting inedible potatoes. Will I make this my last experience there, no. But what I won't do is go anywhere near the potatoes again. Also, living in a world where people rely on apps to deliver their food is more common than less. I respect that VG doesn't want to go that route. But, at least have the decency to TEXT a customer when their order is ready for pickup, or simply remove that option from your website. Communication matters.
Venkteshprasad Maya Rao: Giant gyro sandwich was great! Fries were cooked well too
Han: What a fun and unique restaurant. I love all of their fun vegetarian options - it was so hard to choose what to eat! The poutine was tasty, soups were delicious, and i really enjoyed my sandwich. My non-vegetarian partner also really enjoyed all of their dishes. Kaley Holyfield: AMAZING. Was greeted immediately when I entered and seated quickly at the bar. Great setup for a solo diner. The service was quick and the food was filling and reasonably priced. Highly recommend even if you are not vegetarian!
Liz Davis: My brother and I found this spot on Google Maps while I was visiting him in Boston. As decade+ vegetarians, we HAD to try it out.Honestly, it was incredible. We were seated very quickly, even despite there being a lot of diners who were in the neighborhood for a show at a nearby venue. Our server, Jessica, was super amicable. She took our orders promptly, checked in with us while eating, and brought us our dessert to go. She has a charming personality. The menu selection was probably the most difficult part of the experience—because I wanted to try like 5 different dishes! Our food came out perfectly cooked and the plant-based proteins were top tier. It was exceptionally satisfying and the prices were not too bad as far as vegetarian/vegan food goes. This spot deserves to be featured on Guy’s Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives! It was that impressive!

PLANTPUB: what do users think?
Aaron Gaudette: Great location with exceptional out areas. I wish their food was less expensive but I am not stopping.😂
NAT CADE: Hello! Awesome food well prepared, in healthy tasty manner, highly recommended for plant base eaters
S Williams: Food was delicious 😋. Everything is truly vegan which is amazing. The Queso fries are delicious so is the buffalo "chicken" pizza. Definitely a place to walk to since there is no parking around the area except for a garage.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Loaded Nachos, Queso Fries, Kimchi Burger, Buffalo Pizza …More
Kylie Underwood: The food is a little over priced but always delicious. I could eat that soft serve every day (and probably would far too often if I lived closer). There's limited seating and the actual interior atmosphere isn't great for dining in. Despite the name it's not much of a pub in that sense, so I'd usually recommend takeout unless you're just grabbing a quick bite.
Harry Benjamin Handler: The cheese pizza is a great staple now, i had the banh mi fried cauliflower sub , delicious. Everything is good!
Hassana: Great spot ! One of my favorite pizza places for their mushroom pizza!Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5Recommended dishes Wild Mushroom & Truffle Pizza, Buffalo Cauliflower Wings …More

Micheal Huguet: Great food, kinda wish they leaned harder on the "pub" vibe though.. Regardless we'll be back for more fried chicken sandwiches.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 3/5 …More
Kaushal Kothari: Visiting Boston for the first time and this was our first stop. Absolutely AMAZING! We decided to try some different things and had the pub fries, loaded nachos, kimchi burger and guac burger (both with impossible burger), and buffalo pizza. The Kimchi burger and buffalo pizza were my favorites. So good! I didn't like the guac burger, but had I not had the Kimchi burger to compare it to, I might have had a different view. Had a root beer - also amazing. And also had a Night Shift Craft Light Lager - wow - I love this place!
Ian: The food is good for the most part, but the place is way too small and doesn't feel much like a pub.The burgers are great, but don't come with any sides, and the side dish of fries is way too big for one person. The chicken quesadilla I got was burnt as if they cooked it in the pizza oven--not a great idea. My friend got the ramen once, and it was pretty bland compared to the vegan ramen you can get at a real ramen place.

Michelle Dao: Note: I have only gone once so please process this review as such.I went to plant pub in the expectation it’d be the vegetarian shake shack. Raved on by food review sites I thought I would be a good excursion for lunch at work. However I was surprised and admittedly disappointed when I checked the menu on-site to see the prices were something I’d expect out of a sit down restaurant. There were so many menu items and contrary to my impression it’s kind of a weird mix of burgers, ramen? (I remember correctly), pizza and beer. Most of their craft non alcoholic drinks were not in stock so that was also a let down.I ended up getting the kimchi burger and sweet potato fries. When I tapped my card to the reader, a little cringe went through me because I wasn’t expecting to spend so much. I think it was about $25 and that was without the drink. For reference, when I go out to eat in Kendall I expect the priciest take out meals to be $20. So if I am paying beyond that I’m hoping to get value in return. We ate in where the staff carried out the food to us. The burger was surprisingly big and hefty in comparison to a shake shack burger so it was a pleasant surprise, but it was also a smash burger smaller than a pub burger. I found when eating it, it was super wet, not juicy. The bun was super soft so it it was really hard to keep the coleslaw from falling out and keep the burger together. Not the best eating experience. The fries were also piled high with sauce already applied. If you like to dip definitely ask for it on the side.Contrary to my experience, my vegetarian colleague who ordered the classic burger loved it. Noted the bun was already really soft but they raved that it was delicious and I don’t doubt it. The flavours from all the items we got were tasty and we left super full.I think for me personally, this establishment is not one I’d visit again because I personally eat meat and there’s shops nearby that provide a better offering. I think because of the fact that people set the comparison to shake shack, it’s disappointing to me because I find the vegatarian alternatives at shake shack to be significantly more delicious (and significantly less healthy 😉).I think this shop could do better, be it refining the menu/eating experience. It’s kind of confusing and people may write it off because it one of the few vegetarian centric places. I wish them the best, but unfortunately not my cup of tea.
Enakshi Chanda: Being a vegetarian all my life I believe I’m quite qualified to say that they sell one of the worst low quality vegan food. The pizza was horrible. The crust and the flavors were so bad. Frozen pizzas tastes better than what they sell for the price. The fries were not fresh and god knows how they fried it. I wonder if they understand the right temperature, the amount of crisp and how to fry them. Clover is so much better for vegan options. I would never go PlanPub again after this bad experience.
Jeff Morris: So good! Very refreshing to have a place that serves familiar foods that are plant based. The BBQ Pizza was top notch.Recommended dishes Barbecue Pizza …More
Antonio Iaccarino: The food was actually really good. The sweet potato fries were solid, and the chicken sandwich actually had flavor. Chicken sandwich + fries + frappe + tip was $38.Recommended dishes Fried Chicken Sandwich …More
Jea Kim: There aren't a lot of plant-based restaurants in Boston, and Plant pub stands out with its unconventional approach to plant-based food. The place doesn't feel like a typical pub, but during the warmer seasons, their patio is a great place to stop by for drinks with some plant-based pizza and burgers.Although a bit pricey, all the burgers I tried were delicious, and they were especially on point with the sauces. Their pizza and fries were also decent, and the wild mushroom truffle pizza has been one of my go-tos. The only underwhelming menus were their cauliflower wings and their ramen bowl. Both the buffalo and Korean bbq sauces were good, but the cauliflowers inside the batters were often too moist that they broke apart too easily. Ramen bowl with shitake mushroom broth was okay, but it wasn't worth its price tag.Definitely worth checking out if you're into vegan food, but I would recommend focusing on their burgers and pizzas.
Marie-Céline Piednoir: So great to find a fully vegan place. I tried the kimchi burger and it was super good, same for the sweet potatoes fries. I also recommend the “blue comet” IPA. The staff was super nice.Recommended dishes Kimchi Burger, Sweet Potato Tots …More
