Frances Tanzer: Was unable to make my appointment because of a truly unavoidable emergency. Their cancellation policy, however, charges automatically for 50 percent of the price of the service even if you would like reschedule. They do not appear to make any exceptions for this. Of course I understand the need to secure their time slots and profits - - but to charge even if you wish to reschedule is rather extreme and unfortunately makes the service inaccessible to a single parent or anyone who experiences an emergency. Will not be booking with them again.

Sehr Yaqoob: I have been to this salon 3 times in total. The first time I came the hairstylist was great he was the one who checked me in and gave me a haircut and styled my hair beautifully. The second time I cancelled my appointment. But they charged me a no show fee without informing me I had to call them to let them know they never refunded the full amount. I still came the third time as I really like the stylist, I was booked for A 45 min appointment with no confirmation over text. The appointment included a haircut an blow out. I was 15 mins late, and they still cut my hair I had mentioned on the phone that I would like to get them styled which is usually and 1 hour appointment but I was still booked for a shorter slot. When I mentioned this to them they said we don’t want to speak about this and didn’t care that my hair was not finished. They stylist was nice and apologized but the management was rude and unkind. When I complained she said that she’s new and that’s how they “told her to do it”. Management said they could not do better and that I could go across the street if I didn’t like them. Because it took an hour 15 to remove the gel, they said they couldn’t do the manicure because it was too late. I’ve been coming here for years, but with the changes in staff, I’ll never be back again. My nails are now coming apart from the middle because they buffed them for over an hour to remove the manicure. I was told I could not put anything on my nails for weeks so they can recover.

At the end he told me I can have 50% discount… the worst haircut experience I ever had, do not recommend that place.

Normally I don't wear a lot of make up and this was my first time having it done professionally, but Kymorha asked all the right questions to help me explain what I wanted. She put me at ease right away and made the whole experience so fun! Each step of the way she checked in with me to make sure I was happy with the look, and everything was spot on, from the color choice to adding just the right amount of glam details. The final result looked stunning and I'm so impressed by Kymorha's talents! I highly recommend her and you can go with confidence knowing you'll get the right look for your special occasion! I also added on some light hairstyling at the end for beachy waves, and could not be happier with the whole experience!

She listens to what I want, takes a lot of care in her work and very friendly. Sure, the salon may be on a little expensive side but you can have a wide range of stylists from different price ranges to chose from.

They have a variety of levels of stylist with different price ranges which is great! I went for a simple cut and they did a nice job. I also bought a shampoo the stylist recommended and it all cost less than $100 before tip. I appreciate that they are also trying to be more sustainable, would love to see some items in the salon that have plastic free packaging or refill options that would really set them apart. Overall I really liked it and would go back for another haircut or maybe try another service. They do book up a while in advance so make sure to book at least a week before you want to go!

I am a nurse and I am working with very sick patients including Covid patients and I never got paid $145 per hour considering my work difficulty. Had a haircut booked for Friday and gave them a call to let them know I was running 10 minutes late due to traffic from the impending snowstorm. I asked if it was okay that I was 10 minutes late and was told yes of course we have a 10 minute grace period and that they would inform the front desk. Upon my arrival I was told that they wouldn't be able to take me because I had been scheduled between two color appointments and the stylist no longer had time. Of course being late was my bad but #1 why tell guests that you have a 10 min grace period, #2 I should have just been told to reschedule because I wasted over an hour of my time trying to get there and back #3 I didn't book myself between two color appointments the salon did. Furthermore when they rescheduled me they did not offer to reschedule me with the same stylist I had originally booked with, and AFTER booking me I was told that I would be seeing someone at the same level so "the price would remain the same".... I would hope so.... Come Sunday I receive a voicemail from the salon telling me they were not able to open due to the storm from the day before which was fine and understandable however at the end of the voicemail the receptionist leaving the message says "who the hell's phone number is this"... the unprofessionalism is next level. I have the voicemail saved. Not to mention when I have been the last couple times the salon looked unkept and dirty like no one even cares enough to sweep. I kept returning because of the convenience of the location in proximity to my house but even that can't make up for the eh decent haircut and lack of professionalism. Diana Baez: Went to have a gel manicure and for the prices there the treatment was awful! I am not expecting a red carpet or champagne or caviar but little chat in trends, and/or colors or ideas is always welcome. This lady was rushing me from the beginning, got mad when I decided I wanted my nails filed a little more, showed her a picture of what I would like and she said there was not time for it! I wasn’t asking for complicated art, I asked for two nails to be painted different! No extra glam or sparkles or complicated patterns, just two nails (4 nails total) painted different! Her attitude was terrible! She called me “undecided” which I was but instead of helping me to make up my mind (like a nail technician normally does) she just got upset and everything when down hill from there! She rushed me out of there because she had another appointment, when I left, there was nobody waiting around! Conclusion, terrible customer service, extremely expensive ($65 + tip, yes, I gave her a tip!). I was extremely polite throughout the entire ordeal, I said I’m sorry when I changed my mind about the shape of my nails and I didn’t argued when she said painting 4 nails different color was going to make her extra late for her next appointment, she did paint the nails different out of… not sure why but apparently she had the time to do it. Katherine Heggie: I first went to Cambridge Laser with no expectations, but quickly realized I’d be going back (over and over again). Sarah is a total professional and has made all of my treatments so comfortable, easy, and painless. Not only is she clearly very educated on all of the machines and technology they use in the studio, but has been able to confidently answer/ address every question and concern I’ve had since day 1! Her passion for her industry is evident, and she really has a wealth of knowledge about not just laser, but skincare and beauty treatments as well. I’d see anyone in the industry that she recommends without a second thought. The lasers they use at the studio are some of the highest quality and I’ve had better results, in fewer sessions, than my friends who have gone elsewhere for the same services. I’ve never been pressured to buy additional sessions, and always feel like the technicians are being completely honest in how many I need to buy to see the results I want. I’m looking forward to trying their other skincare treatments too. 10/10 can’t recommend Cambridge Laser Studios and Sarah enough!Service:Laser hair removal

When I first started my sessions, she provided a great explanation of the process and made sure I understood what I needed to do before the session as well as for post care. During each session, she reminded me that cold water and lotion would help my skin heal from the laser much faster. Whenever I mentioned any pain I felt throughout the process, she was accommodating by allowing breaks and offering different intensity for the laser machine. As the hair regrowth cycles started getting thinner, Tanya introduced me to different machines and guided me through why they were better for thinner hair. After having my face and neck done at “Vendor A near Fresh Pond” at higher prices and with several deficiencies in quality, I did the 15 minutes of research that I should have done in the first place. Somehow Tatsiana managed to accommodate most of my unreasonable expectations, and I have been unable to identify anything to complain about. My only recourse has been to give her cash tips that wildly exceed my financial means.Regardless, the laser she has is so superior to the (first) one that I experienced. Almost painless for legs and Bikini. Far less traumatic for (most sensitive) upper lip (without $$ numbing cream). They do not answer calls and when they finally answer they put you on hold for 30+ minutes or hang up on you. Use the app to book (website hasn't been working either) and avoid calling.

I overheard her screaming at one of the staff (I’m so sorry you had to deal with that)and she lied saying that a full leg was part of the half off promo and she who booked it. EWC, you should really look into your management hiring process and the lack of training which apparently is causing ahostile work environment and would hate to have to come to work under those conditions daily. It must be exhausting and stressful, I feel I should apologize on Shellis behalf since I am a manager myself. Shame on you EWC and Shelli!!

I broke my big toe nail today, about 1 week after getting my most recent pedicure, and came in hoping to salvage the situation. Even though my nail was irreparably broken, they made the best of it. They are always ready for the appointment when scheduled in advance, which is not always the case elsewhere.
