Erin Kennedy: I first visited Camilla’s Bridal Shop during the summer of 2021 after making an appointment online. I had previously looked at some wedding dresses with my mom while I was visiting her in PA one day, and was leaning toward the Maggie Sotero (Meryl Lynette) dress I had tried on. It had been a few weeks, and living in the Cambridge area, I found that Camilla’s carried the dress. On the online form, I mentioned that I was probably looking to get the Maggie Sotero and wanted to try it on again. With that dress in mind of what shape and style I was looking for, I also requested to try on some similar dresses that the person on the other end would recommend. I arrived at my appointment at Camilla’s and met the woman on the other end, Nivia, and had a wonderful experience. I showed up alone, and it was just the two of us during indoor masking times. She made me feel extremely comfortable and did not question why I had shown up by myself, rather than with the expected entourage in tow. In the fitting room, Nivia already had the Maggie Sotero dress waiting, as well as a few others based on my form submission. Nivia was really great while I tried on the dresses, letting me work through my thoughts out loud. I gushed about how much I loved the Maggie Sotero, and then proceeded to try on the other dresses for comparison. They were beautiful dresses, but not for me. I looked at the last one in the dressing room and felt like it probably wouldn’t be for me, but I tried it on anyway. I came out of the dressing room and absolutely fell in love with the dress (Adrianna Papell ‘Louisa’). I could not believe that I loved a dress more than the one I specifically sought out that day. Nivia allowed me to gawk at myself and twirl around happily for a longer time than I would care to admit. I never would have found my wedding dress without Nivia and her years of experience – and based on a form submission, no less! I purchased my dress from Camilla’s and was able to keep it there until the big day. I loved working with Nivia and really appreciated how wonderful she was during the whole process.

Vivian Lee: This bridal shop is best in town. I just went here for my wedding dress, I tried 10+ dresses because I and my mom were picky, and I just tried every dresses I want. Nivia and her mom helped me to pick best look and even veil. My wedding in Hawaii was so perfect last month. Thank you again, and go, try and grab your dress here everyone!!!!!!

Alexis Wong: From the moment I first walked into Camilla's Bridal, I knew it was a special place. Nivia and her mom, Maria helped me pick out my wedding dress in the summer of 2021. This was the first and only bridal boutique that I shopped at! I didn't expect to find a dress so quickly, but they had clearly read my appointment questionnaire carefully and had pre-chosen some beautiful dresses for me to try on. I don't know much about wedding dress styles, so I was very impressed that they took my vague description of how I wanted to look and feel on my wedding day and chose the most perfect dresses with my budget in mind. I never felt any pressure to buy and they didn't try to upsell me a more expensive option. After ordering my dress, I returned to the shop for my alterations appointments, selecting a veil, and Nivia even steamed my dress/veil for me. I cannot recommend this shop more - Nivia and her team will help you find "the one!"

Amanda Zahedi: Camilla's Bridal was fantastic! I just got my wedding dress from there and from the very first day they went above and beyond. I knew my dress was the one after looking online, and I emailed them to see if they had it in the store. Sure enough, they did, and it was gorgeous in person. It arrived right on time and the seamstress who did my alterations was excellent. They also put in an order for my veil, which I fell in love with and decided I couldn't live without :) They were so accommodating and kind, very good at communication and fast at responding. Really nice, polite people. When it time to get my dress for pickup, everything was perfect. Definitely highly recommend!

When I arrived, she already had some dresses pulled for me, ready to try on based on some photos I had sent when making the appointment. Lauren Martel: I had a great experience at Vows, and Krystal was an amazing consultant! Having had a bad experience at another boutique, I was a little nervous to go dress shopping. They have the most gorgeous dresses, and Krystal was so friendly, helpful, and not at all pushy. I got to go through the racks twice and she also let me go through the stock room to see if we could find a discounted dress. She was very respectful of my budget and asked me if I was okay trying on every dress that was over budget, even if I had already okay-ed a dress that was even more expensive. She was efficient, gently gave me her personal opinion, and I could tell she really did want me to find the perfect dress whether I got it there or not.

Lindsey Minahan: Highly recommend. They went above and beyond to help me find my dream dress and then to resolve a scheduling issue that was entirely my fault to make sure I had everything in time for my alterations appointment. Loved both of the stylists that I worked with. Vows is amazing!

We ended up coming back to Vows to say yes to my dress after going to a couple other shops we had appointment. They help you through every step of the way, in and out of dresses! Jillian Casey: I can't emphasize enough how great my experience was here. Going into this appointment, I had minimal expectations. I assumed I would just be trying on some dresses and leaving with a better "idea" of what I wanted. That's because I went to a different bridal shop for my first appointment and left very confused with little progress on finding a dress or even knowing what I wanted. When I showed up to Vows, I met Mandy and she literally made the whole thing such a special experience. I had ideas of what I liked but I didn't know how to articulate it and was very stressed about that. She helped me navigate all of this so well. I showed her a pinterest board I had made and she just GOT IT right away and knew what I was looking for without me needing to find the words. She was so invested in making it a special day for me whether I found my dress or not. She encouraged us to look around, ask questions, take pictures, gave us time to debrief privately - She made me feel very heard and reassured. Also she has so much energy and is so sweet (and hilarious) -- My mom, sister and I felt so comfortable with her immediately like we had known her forever. Seriously, I could cry writing this post!!! BIGGEST PART - I found my dream dress!!! If I hadn't had an appointment here, I truly feel that I would've been searching for much, much longer and potentially not have found what I was looking for. Although I didn't spend as much time with the other employees - everyone I did speak to at Vows was so sweet. We had a few questions after we left about delivery / ordering accessories etc. and have called back and they're so nice and accommodating each time. Overall, I wish I could give Vows (and Mandy) more than 5 stars. I encourage everyone who reads this (and will be encouraging all of my friends / family who are getting married) to go to Vows. You will not regret it!!

Tina Valente: I found my dress here, yesterday, and had a great experience. I highly recommend working with Sara. She’s so knowledgeable and honest. There’s so many options here, but make sure you give yourself plenty of time, some dresses take 8 months+ to be made (before alterations). Anyone could find their dress here. Highly recommend

Abby Donahue: Got bullied into buying a final sale dress that I don't like. Way above my price point. No idea how that happened, but I would not recommend shopping here.

Carley Ward: I had a great experience! My consultant was super helpful, the environment was very relaxed, and I found my gown no problem. The only annoying but was that although I had saved dresses to my account online to have pulled in advance, it didn't work and the consultant could not see what I had selected.

Loren Lachapelle: I had an extremely poor experience all around at Vows and definitely don't recommend. Wedding dress shopping should be a customized and memorable experience, but the only thing memorable was the bad customer service I received. On the shopping day, it felt extremely rushed, although I did decide on a dress at the end (though could have kept looking). When my time was up with the stylist, I felt as though I was being pushed out the door. But it was a busy day, and I understand they had to keep things moving. Fast forward to a few months later, my dress came in. I called to set up a pickup on a weekend day, as I am not local and live 3+ hours away. I simply wanted to try the dress on at pickup to see if it fit -- however, I was told I couldn't come until February if I wanted to try it on during a weekend day. Come on, this doesn't take more than 10 minutes, I thought to myself. I was frustrated and explained, again, that I'm not local and really need a weekend day. There was zero flexibility. I finally determined I'd have to take a day off from work if I wanted this dress before Feb. Fast forward again, I had a flight into Boston incoming on a Friday. I made the appointment at Vows for that afternoon to pick up/try on the dress. As it usually goes, the flight was delayed and I was cutting it close to get to Vows before they closed at 5:30. This whole time I was communicating with them, calling to say I was going to be late and/or there at the last minute. They were totally unwilling to stay open even a minute later for me to pick up my dress, even after I reminded them (again) I lived hours away. I called them when I was 0.1 miles away, stating I was stuck at a red light. The time was 5:27. They told me it was too late, they close at 5:30 no exceptions, and if I happened to get there, I would not be able to try on. I was very upset. When I got there at 5:29, the door was still unlocked thankfully, and they reluctantly let me try it on, however, the woman helping was clearly annoyed that she had to stay 4 minutes late. I thanked her for letting me try it on, stated how thankful I was for her time, apologized for being late, and also stated that I would have been disappointed if I had to drive home empty handed. The reply I got from that was "this will teach you to schedule these types of appointments on days that you travel, won't it." Totally unneeded and I was clearly just their biggest inconvenience of the day. Very very disappointed with the service I received and should have gone to a small shop in my home state.

Adrienne Jack: Fantastic experience from beginning to end. Mandy was my stylist and she is amazing. My mum and sister talked me into bridal shopping and I was skeptical I could get that excited about it, but Mandy’s energy was infectious! Vows is big so there were a lot of options but she pointed us in the right direction for my budget, understood my style straight away, listened to our feedback, and was honest with hers. The dress I chose was the first one I tried on! The sample was available to buy but I had another bridal appointment that day, and Mandy kindly kept the dress off the floor until I was ready to decide. When we came back to buy it we were helped by other staff who were also very patient, encouraging, and efficient. Liv even took the time to help me try on my dress again. We are very happy we chose Vows and feel very well taken care of by the genuinely passionate staff! 100% recommend

Megan Nowik: I had such an amazing experience with Vows finding my dream wedding dress! My group visited after a less than stellar appointment at a big box bridal shop and from the moment we walked in, I could tell Vows was different in all the best ways. My stylist, Liuba, instantly made me feel so comfortable, she listened, pulled some amazing dresses while also helping guide me to pick out a few on my own, and stayed with me the entire appointment. There were no limits on how many dresses I could try on, a huge selection, and such care taken to make sure I had a good experience. Liuba truly went out of her way to help me find the exact dress I was dreaming of within my budget and made me feel so special the whole appointment. She let me take my time and I never once felt any pressure from her. I can't recommend Vows enough and is definitely a must if you live in the area!

Ambrosia Milan: This was the first and only bridal shop I went to for my dress. A few of my friends had great experiences and found their wedding dresses here too!So thankful to the team at Vows for helping me find my dress and aiding me in selecting my veil. The team was so patient with me as I tried on dress after dress until I found the one that was beyond perfect!! I cannot say enough great things about the ladies at Vows (Mandy is a true gem!) with their help and suggestions, they understood my vision and worked tirelessly help me chose the dress that was right for me. I felt so comfortable and at ease the entire time and I feel so confident in my final decision. Would recommend any other bride to come here to find their dream wedding dress!!!

Carolyn: This place has pushy staff as noted in other reviews. They ask you to make a list online in advance of the appointment, but then tell you to go to the racks and start pulling dresses without any assistance from your consultant. No other bridal shop I’ve been to is like this. My consultant was absent for most of my appointment, rushing around doing anything but helping us. They do have many dresses but they all pretty much look the same. They didn’t end up having many dresses in styles I liked, and once the saleswoman realized a sale was slipping away, she started becoming pushy about dresses I was clearly indifferent about and pulling dresses that were way out of my specific requests, both style and budget. Their selection below $2500 is subpar. They basically pressure you into trying to make an appointment to come back if you don’t walk out of there with a sale after the appointment. Honestly the whole experience felt like I was working with a car salesperson. I went to 3 other bridal shops and all were far superior to this experience. Go literally anywhere else.

Sodany Mau: I absolutely loved my experience at Vows Bridal! I had Louisa S. as my stylist and she was amazing. I liked bits and pieces of the dresses I had on my wishlist and she grabbed a dress at the last minute that had all the details I said I liked. She truly listened and understood what I was looking for. All of the other dresses I tried on were above my budget but the last one she brought it met my budget exactly. Sam Romilly: I'll start by saying they had a great selection and booking an appointment was very easy! Their front desk staff were very nice.However, the whole experience here was anything but personalized. They did not have my 5 dresses on my wishlist pre selected as noted. When we were finally allowed to come inside, we were told to wander around and look at dresses until our consultant was ready for us, our consultant kept leaving us to do other things in the alteration department that half the time it was just me in the dressing room attempting to zipper and pull the dresses on.Vows felt much more of warehouse where you had to know what you wanted. I walked out without a dress. I would recommend to someone that doesn't need guidance and will not be overwhelmed pulling your own dresses.

I'm a 40-year old that never dreamed about a wedding, so when I saw all the dresses in white I nearly froze.While trying on some dresses I picked, Krystal listened to me and asked me questions -- and I think these were clues to her about what kind of dress would suit be best. This dress, Peyton-C by Enozani, was like it was made for me. It was the style that suits my everyday style, my love for old Hollywood glamour, and it suited my French wedding. The bow was also detachable so after dinner I removed it and danced the night away!My sister found her dress at Vows and so did I! They really listen and help -- and are super friendly. There is also a lot of social media accounts with dresses geared towards younger brides, and Vows had a great selection for those of us 40-something brides!Lastly, I had excellent experiences with all the staff members at Vows. Great work, ladies!

Olivia is AMAZING and so patient and understanding. I would highly recommend making an appointment at Vows if you’re looking to find your wedding dress, because they have an enormous amount of inventory, knowledgeable stylists, and a beautiful selection of gowns and veils. It was so much fun looking through and trying on several gowns, and in the end I found my dress (Essence of Australia). I was extremely happy with my dress, and I felt that Vows made my experience special.

Sabrina Johnson: I got married in July 2022 and started dress shopping in October 2021. I was on a slight time crunch to allow enough time for production, shipping and alterations. I had gone to one dress shop prior to Angela’s, but had a much better experience at Angela’s bridal. I even found multiple dresses that I loved and was never rushed while I took forever to decide. She helped me go back and forth in the dresses several times. The place is cute, clean and had a great big mirror, which helped with seeing the whole dress (for big trains) and seeing how it flowed while walking. I had an amazing experience and will always recommend!

Meghan McGann: I got married in June 2022 and started dress shopping in May 2021 - I went to three different bridal salons and by far had the best experience at Angela's! Taty was so kind and knowledgeable but didn't make me feel pressured at all (which was not my experience at other places!) I ended up getting my dress here and they were great - I got the top of my dress lined and everything went so smoothly and communication was great. I loved my dress so much and would absolutely recommend shopping here!

The dress collection is excellent but the experience here is even better. I had the unenviable task of finding two wedding dresses for two cross-continent parties with a short timeframe and Jenny knew exactly what to pull. I bought both dresses at Angela's and each time, I asked Jenny to pick one based on her experience, and instantly fell in love with the dress. They don't do alterations in house but they connected me with a lovely seamstress who seems very professional and accommodating. I was nervous to try David's Bridal after hearing that consultants could be really pushy but for the Westwood location this could not be further from the truth! When trying on dresses, Dianellie found so many great options that were both within my budget and matching what I had envisioned for my dress. (I also feel that there was much better selection here for my price point compared to other stores in the area.) The whole process was super easy and relaxed, and I ended up picking one of the first few dresses I tried on.

Cheryl Leyns: I had a great experience at I Do Wedding, helped greatly by my stylist Marissa. She pulled several dresses for me that I had seen online, including one I really loved. She also helped take pictures and hold my phone so I could Facetime with my mom, as both her and my maid of honor live in another state. The store had a great selection and had spacious dressing room area. I ended up getting my dress at another store, but would highly recommend I Do Wedding to any bride-to-be!

Daisy Noriega: I Do weddings was one of the 3 Bridal places I visited last weekend, but I wish the reviews reflected the service received here. I didn’t receive so much as a hello or welcome when I came in the shop. My appointment started about 10 minutes late as we waited for another entourage to wrap up (totally fine on my end), so my entourage and I looked around for dresses I might like to pull. There were two consultants working the shop but both of them were cold and lacked warmth for the brides in the shop. The experience was impersonal and truly just made me feel anxious the whole time, I wish I called it quits early. As soon as I chose 3 dresses to try on, I was rushed to the dressing room where there were two mirrors, but each time I tried on a dress I had no more than 10 seconds to look at myself win the mirror before being told to turn around so my entourage could see. I truly think my entourage saw the dresses more than I did, I especially didn’t have the opportunity to see the backs of any of them. I want to make it clear that I have no problem wearing masks during the appointment, but when my bridesmaids asked Dianellie (consultant) if I could take my mask off briefly so they could get the whole picture, she rudely said she wouldn’t get near me if I did. I clearly understand the importance of COVID safety, but there are a million more kinder ways to say that I could but she would need to step away while I did. Ironically, she wore her mask below her nose the entire time and the other consultant/bridal party in the room were unmasked. After the dresses I chose to try on were done, my bridesmaid asked the consultant if I could try on a dress I might like, but she said “No. she won’t like that. The arms are restrictive”, even though my party knew I was looking for an off the shoulder dress. Instead I tried on about 4 more dresses that the consultant picked that I hated (I was looking for an A-line but she had me try on a fitted two-in-one dress without even asking me). The whole time I felt apathetic and just felt like a puppet trying on dresses. She asked me what my budget was (2500), so I assumed everything I was trying on was in budget. At the end of the appointment, I tried on a dress that I felt good about, tried the veil on, and when my bridesmaid asked for a bouquet, Dianellie said “ok but we’re out of time” even though it wasn’t our fault we started 10 minutes late, and the bridal party that was supposed to be seen after us came in to cancel their appointment because she said “they can’t be in here” and needed to wait outside. So there was nobody waiting for us necessarily. As I was teary eyed with the last dress, my friend asked me how much it was and Dianellie said it was $2990- almost $500 above my budget WITHOUT telling me! We were rushed out of the appointment, but everything happens for a reason because there was no way I could support I Do Weddings’ business after that experience.Brides - heads up, I Do Weddings has terrible customer service if Dianellie is your consultant, and although I can’t speak on another consultant, I would stay away from here. I’m glad I had another bridal appointment left for the day and that this wasn’t my only one, because I left the place in tears and it would have ruined the wedding dress experience entirely. If your budget is above $2000, I wouldn’t spend the money on a gown at I Do- Flair on NewBury was able to help me find my dream dress for $2500 with AMAZING service. Best of luck!

K Harewood: Yesterday (7/17/22) was my first time ever going to a Bridal shop and I loved everything about it!! I did not want to get a dress from David's Bridal because everyone goes there, and I wanted to try a smaller chain. The atmosphere and the service were outstanding. Dianellie was professional and personable. She offered excellent advice about my shape and skin tone and gave me budget friendly options and chooses. It was not scary or overwhelming which I had thought, and I am glad that we paid for the Private session ($50 and had 6 ppl + the bride) because I needed uninterrupted help and attention. I am the first person in my family to get married in a long time and I was glad i was not limited on who I could bring but also did not feel the place was crowded. Although I did not purchase my dress yesterday as I wanted to explore other options first. No dress is that store was more than $3,000 so I did not have to worry about falling in love with a dress I could not afford. Amy: By far the most comfortable and enjoyable wedding dress shopping experience! Dianellie was very helpful!!! She gave great ideas and expertly showed how each dress would look in my size. I have felt rushed in many shops, however, here, the process is very thoughtful: First, Dianellie sets up the dress for you, gives you privacy while you put it on, then will come in to clip the dress. She then gives you time to see yourself in the dress before showing to your party. This no-rush & thoughtful process was incredibly helpful and made me feel more relaxed. Highly recommend! Amazing customer service!

Song-My Hoang: I was really looking forward to this bridal boutique because of the high ratings. I Do Wedding Dresses does have a nice selection of diverse dresses. However, in my experience (may be different with another stylist), the customer service was the worst I received at a bridal store so far. My stylist Dianellie was quite condescending and did not seem to want to listen to me. This was my third bridal store so from my previous 2 experiences, I was able to weed out a few styles that did not flatter my body or matched my personal preferences. I specifically wanted something that was higher coverage, but she pulled out a strapless dress, where she said a mesh and sleeves could be added. When my close friend (who went bridal shopping with me for the past 2 stores), remarked that she thinks the mesh wouldn't solve the low coverage (still deep cut) of the dress, Dianellie told us, "we've only been to 2 bridal stores so we don't know what we want. We need to be open minded and listen to her." Though I do respect a stylist's recommendation, her condescending tone of voice and lack of trust developed before this moment made me feel extremely uncomfortable and belittled. I thought the dresses were beautiful, but because I did not feel respected, I really just wanted to get out of there as quick as possible.

Stacia Gelineau: Had such a great experience with Dina! I could not find the perfect top AND bottom, so I made my own! Took the top of one dress and the bottom of another and it came out fantastic. They are timely, efficient, and professional. Did not feel like I was being sold on anything and they really took the time to make sure I was happy. The parking can be tough, so factor in extra time!
