Rick Walker's: what do users think?
Ilana Moon: Service was very rude. The lady told me there is a no phone policy and asked me to leave
Guinea P.: What a hidden gem! I bought a lovely T-shirt here today without hesitation, and discovered some uniquely designed leather products. The way they organize everything is logical yet playful.
Renee Goldfarb: Worth the trip. Walking in you definitely feel “at home”. Such a fantastic mix of vintage and new, AND a nice eclectic selection! I found a great pair of Circle G that I thought I would have to pass up, but Rick was so awesome in helping stretch the new leather! If you’re in the Boston area DO NOT pass this shop by.
Jeff Kelly: Absolutely loved Rick’s. Rick and his wife are super nice and the overall vibe of the store is awesome. Definitely worth a visit!
Anthony: Super interesting leather boot store!!
Andrew Harris: Amazing store, the owner Rick and his wife are great people! Some really great stuff here especially considering you’re in Boston! They have something for everyone. Old rock concert tees and plenty of country boots, apparel, and accessories. They’ve been in the area well over a decade and I sure hope they don’t go anywhere! They also have an AWESOME selection of both classic rock and country records. I found a few albums that I am so excited to throw for a spin. It’s hard for me to believe I found classic country music records eye in Boston, MA! The store sits in a very beautiful area and is absolutely worth the drive or walk to get there! It’s added to my list of places that are MUST stops when I come back through Boston.. For locals they have a rotating inventory too so stopping in every few weeks is definitely not a bad idea, I know I would if I lived anywhere near Boston! As for the reviews saying the management was rude, I found it to the complete opposite. Both Rick and his wife were very helpful and eager to answer any questions I asked about the store and even the local area. They’re great people with a fantastic store!
Juan Castaño: Very cool, unique business that you ought to check out in Boston!
Karen Martakos: Rick Walker's is the ultimate Boston destination for great Western Wear and Rock & Roll clothes, jewelry, and footwear. They also have a great collection of vintage items. The owners and staff are really knowledgeable and friendly. You may even catch some local musicians playing in the store if you stop by in the evening.
Scott Shedeck: Boots
D J M: Well, if you happen to be looking for a place for used boots and leather jackets to let out your inner Steve McQueen or delevop your Marlboro Man persona, this is your place. And you can even do it in relative private, because I do not think the person sitting behind the counter in front noticed us walk in, or even noticed when we walked out!
Gerardo Perez: Great shoes!
Di Zhong: Extremely rude "service". We were sitting in the back of store, happily trying on shoes and chatting about which ones we love and want to get, and the front desk person came checked on us twice, asking "is there anything wrong with you guys", and commented on that he "doesn't understand how it's such difficult decisions". When we wondered about return policies, he said "well, the store's gotta pay rent every month", as if it was an offensive question. It was a rare beautiful sunny weekend after weeks of gloomy weather, but he managed to ruin our mood for that day completely. Would give negative stars if possible.
Mel Cha: The best store on Newberry St:)
The Dragonsnort Channel: If anybody has an appreciation for all things country, western, and rock 'n roll, Rick Walker's offers customers the chance to embrace their free spirits in a crowded city like Boston.
Matt Guillemette: Wandering thru Boston I found this place. Was able to score a antique belt buckle to add to my collection. The service was awesome, couldn't have been a better experience.
Scot Bennett: A treasure on Newbury.
Vincent James: It's great
William Smith: Great selection of vintage gear
Ray Bernoff: A weird little store. They have a pet chicken who just chills out in a cage by the door. Boots are self-serve -- you just try em on yourself -- but they have some really nice ones!
Alexander Lanterman: This is the one store that defies urban trends. You go in there and come out with something that matches your look and attitude. Their products are of high quality, and the prices are reasonable. It's western and rock n roll attire at its finest.
Tomas Drake: rick is a great guy! Went there this Christmas to do some last minute shopping and ended up chatting. With him for about 3 hours. Super personable and helpful with the products. I highly recommend swinging by whenever you're on newbury street!

The Garment District: what do users think?
Simon Gorelkin: Best emotions!
Sammie Annie: So the first floor is absolutely disgusting. the 2 dollar per pound genuinely left my mouth wide open. the clothes are all over the floor and people are just stepping all over them? and then deciding they want to buy them? so gross and dirty my skin started crawling.the second floor however was a lot more acceptable. things were actually on racks. i found a cool vintage leather jacket for a reasonable price. it was missing a button though so ? but it’s from the 80s so whatever. i guess i’ll just find someone who knows how to sew. i would return for the second floor but god NOT the first floor.
Sarah Daigle: This place is amazing, nough said.
Jean Roman: Good place to bargain hunt for clothes or thrift shop!
Monica Renaud: This place is vintage, thrift, costume and one of a kind pieces all at once. It is well organized. Am sure I'll find a new treasure the next time I visit!
Wynter Aiguier: Love walking around and looking at the different stuff
Holly Buehlmann: Great Spot to thrift if you are looking for higher end stuff. It's definitely a lot more expensive than a goodwill or savers.
Ann Thomson: Love ❤️ this place!!!!!! A must go all bargain shoppers!!!
Richard Cadet: Great staff
Bryn Weiler: Wide selection of fairly priced and high quality vintage/used clothing. By the pound is the best as well!
Robin Beaulieu: Second time I visited here, & always leave myself short on time to really go through the 'pick a pile' section. It takes a semi-work out to really 'dig-out' a gem but they ARE to be had, you just have to scout them out. Special shout out to Charlotte at the checkout, she was so kool in sharing some additional info. regarding thrift salvage in the area, & a unique spirit :) Wow to the vintage offerings, & the costume departments too. I walked away w/ two tailored pants, a lrg tee-shirt, & a sports bra all for $4. What a deal!
Claire Navis: best thrift store in Boston, also was recommended from a local
Edward Mostone: Friendly staff
Colleen Childs: Lots of wonderful stuff
Michael and Steve: Great variety of clothing to choose from. Reasonably priced.
bianca bello: I had high hopes and remember it being nicer and more affordable when I lived here years ago, but the prices now (fast fashion tops for $14-$20) and the…sewage?…smell made me never want to return :(
ulises palafox: Me encanta este lugar, nunca sabes lo que puedes encontrar
Anna Woods: I wanted to like this place and I tried really hard it’s just a little overpriced for what it is I recommend goodwill unless you want to dig through the hellacious clothing mound
Andrew Schmitz: Amazing Inventory...Fabulous customer service!! They are wonderful!!
Noelia G.: Beautiful & elegant vintage pieces. I loved my purchase here.
Nick Belsten: Fun shopping experience! Love the selection and the funky pink decor
