Whole Foods Market: what do users think?
Joseph Sarno: Good stuff
ALEX MESA: Fresh fruit
APL Restoration: Nice place
Thomas Haynes: Always good
Jonathan White: Usually very crowded with long lines. It shouldn’t be hard to add more self-checkout registers… This is simply disrespectful to your customers. If you get anything from the hot bar, it gets plain cold by the time you check out. Moreover, the cashiers are the slowest ones I have seen at a whole foods.
Russell Deyab: Clean covid free, friendly environment very nice employees prices are just right..overall beautiful store.
Benjamin Sanchez-Lengeling: Good
Chante: Good products and big store
I-Ching Chiu: 物美價廉新鮮
Husang Lee: It's a small whole foods with limited selection. Parking is ample at least
Elias D: Honestly I drive the 10 minutes to this one instead of the Brighton one within waking distance on weekends because I have the privilege of having a car. The reasons being: there is always ample parking, it is never as crowded, there is always more selection of food, they sell wine & beer, and they have a deli worker who really knows how to slice prosciutto well.Prices are typical of whole foods. The store is very clean and the staff always friendly & patient with folks. There are only about 3 self checkout machines here but the wait is never too long.
Kristin OConnor: Always has everything in stock I go for in the employees are especially helpful and friendly. Highly recommended.
JGal: Thank u 2 employee named Sayeem! He was so kind 2 me when I goofy spilled meatballs in the self -checkout. Cleaned up & helped me bag my items 2 boot! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Zack Trapper Fey: Best whole foods in Cambridge
Dan M: Unfriendly staff but more so the store management in the grocery department. Only redeeming quality is its never too busy but I don’t understand why this is open with the Somerville and Central Sq stores so close.
Santiago.SE2gCB Brito: Todo es de primer nivel
vandeta ward: Good place to work
Yvan Pearson: The best kale
Treva Fitzgerald: Very fresh food and a very clean store. Everything we purchased was delicious!
Chef John Slattery: Great selection and service
Eoin Kenny: Quite a nice big store with a nice selection and not too pricey. I don't give it five stars because I just I'm not sure what a grocery store would have to do to earn that and I'm still waiting.

Star Market: what do users think?
C S: I wish the woman working the self checkout at night would be even ruder to me for no apparent reason. I want the full Porter Square experience. No imitations.
Aili Jin: This place is very conveniently located, and the 24-hour opening time can be lifesaver sometimes. They have a good variety of products, and we especially go there to get vegetarian stuff. It's not the cheapest place to get groceries, so it's not our regular store, but we shop there frequently for specific items or when it's on our way somewhere.
Mike Powers: Good selection, little expensive
Nancy Fernandes: it's very expensive. Not a great trip.
Kira Pilat: What a wonderful grocery store! I especially want to thank the very talented artiste Manuela in the Bakery department who created my beautiful birthday cake!
Paula Frye: I enjoy shopping at the STAR MARKET in Porter Sq Cambridge. It's cleaner, prices are lower, and employees are nicer
super sonic soul supreme: Good range of products
Thomas Farrell: Star has ok selection. Prices are higher than other nearby supermarkets.
Erin Kayata: They've done a lot to improve their pickup service and it works like a charm now!
JP Shero: I really do appreciate that they open until midnight, not just 11 pm or even 10 pm like the other Star Markets. And I like the store overall, and most or all employees I've encountered at night in past year or so seem nice.
Wanda Sanchez: It was my pleasure working at your store. Most of all, I enjoyed assisting the customers without prejudice or competition. Being that customers is your business. I respect them and my mission is to assist the customer other than just a paycheck. I have happily worked here in the middle of obstacles, stalkers, and other drastic cases. But I as a business student, having the passion for it got to this job while attempting to work with myself and losses. It always nice to ask about people's issues, causes if they know and solution for a descent conversation. Speculating and carrying on makes it immature and disrupting for those who has needs and wants likewise you. Want to say to every Good customers that it was my pleasure working with you. Where there is a joy that a door shuts on you. Another open and with drug test. Wish every respectful customer the best of all. The ones who hand me pashmina scarves, those who persist on tipping me and did. I happily shared with baggers. And then co-workers who never had a problem that I work there. Made enough fund to start a business if I had no crazy expenses. Always remember. Got to move on. Get ready for my things to do list and new job. My original sentiments
Richard Guinn: I enjoy this store.
R Fox: Great fresh variety of foods
Karen Aldred: Always HSS what I'm looking for. Produced dept. always has fresh food and store is very clean
Doug R: Not cheap but ADA friendly & free parking.
ernani delfino: Perfeito
manik kawsar: Good place to buy groceries, but they are slow in billing.
Barış Bilgi: Nice market
Gloria Ha: Star Market and I have a long history together. One of my greatest regrets from my first year living in Cambridge was that I didn't have the Star Market app. I could have been saving so much money! I could have known when the shrimp sales would happen instead of checking in person every day! But hindsight is 20/20, and I'm happy to be a loyal user of the app today.Yes, Star Market is on the more expensive side for most things. I will usually go elsewhere (Trader Joe's, Costco, Hmart Burlington) for necessities that are overpriced at Star Market. BUT their weekly ads and app-exclusive deals can be amazing, and you can get ridiculously cheap or free things. 25 cent 5lb bag of potatoes or pack of blueberries? Free kimchi with the Saturday Sampler? 67c/lb stone fruits?Whenever something I want is on sale (or free) at Star Market, I stock up. Especially during shrimp sales (it goes down to $4.97/lb, so I wait for that). And there's usually at least one good deal in produce so we're never lacking. So yeah, Star Market is expensive if you're not using the app and buying everything from there. But if you use the app to plan out exactly what great deals you'll take advantage of, it can really enhance your food supply. This location itself is spacious and nice, and I've always had a good experience interacting with employees. I always use self-checkout which works just fine. I would also recommend going earlier in the day for produce (especially if it's on sale), because usually at the end of the day only the beat up stuff is left (I'm looking at you, jalapenos).
John Correia: It's good because it's close to my house
omar bensaid: Awesome management, and awesome customer service staff and, yummy healthy food very well displayed and easy to locate for new customers.

WHOLESOME FRESH: what do users think?
Nicole Conlin: Very inconsistent with taste/freshness/quantity
Frank Langione: This place is absolutely disgusting !!! 1st time I ever went in there will be the last time. They have a buffet style eatery which the food is disgusting no other way to put it. People congregating all around the food coughing sneezing nothing is covered. I ate there 1 time and almost immediately felt like vommiting. The staff is rude and always miserable the cashier doesn’t even have enough respect to hand you back your change he just throws it on the counter.wouldn’t go back to this place if it was the last place on earth to eat. The food is beyond disgusting. If I could give negative stars that’s what it would be the only reason it got one is google forces it.please don’t waste your hard earned money on this dump you will regret it promise you that…
Cun Confects: Okay so I emailed the owners promptly and respectfully and was ignored so here i am. I had dentistry done recently and was looking forward to their sushi as my first real meal in a while. The rice was hard like they had put sushi in the fridge the day before. I've worked in Japanese sushi restaurants most of my 20s, the fish had a bad fishy smell as well. Definitely not worth it. Go down the street to pokeworld for way better quality poke bowls.
Ashley Henry-Musser: Excellent customer service, respectful staff, delicious food. Happy to support this business.
AN AN: The guy behind the deli with the hat and earrings got an attitude, needs serious lessons in customer service. Foods decent when they don’t tell you they don’t have something or they can’t do it because they’re too busy making sandwiches by the dozens. But the number 1 thing that needs to change here is the poor attitude.
Roberto BEllo: Good food and nice place…. only you were missing.
Elizabeth Guthrie: VEGETARIANS: DON'T EVEN BOTHER. The miso broth has fish so there is no ramen option, and there are maybe 3 vegetarian sandwiches. An employee told me the veggie burger patty is made with eggs, breadcrumbs, and veggies (like with chunks of vegetables) so if that's your vibe, maybe you'd enjoy. They had no eggs when I visited so I can't speak to the egg salad either.Employees were patient with me and perfectly nixe but the really sad vegetarian menu cancels that out.
Josy Alves: Super unpleasant and disrespectful experience. I bought two large bowls with extra protein, they didn't send me extra protein, they didn't put avocado, they didn't put zuchinni, I asked for separate dressing and they didn't send me. I called to complain and the person who answered me said they didn't have zuchini so they didn't send it and this was not warned by the person working on the line, who didn't pay the slightest attention and ignored our presence. He asked us to pay for the food first and only then could he place the order; when we were paying he made our order and when we came back the order was already made and we didn't see what was missing. The person who served us was very rude and said that I couldn't put in too much protein because it's expensive, and I paid for extra. Not worth spending on this restaurant.
Arthur Glauberman: If you are looking for freshly made sushi as well as prepared foods along with an awesome selection of wines, beers, sodas and other beverages, you’ll love Wholesome Fresh. While they don’t have the largest produce section it’s really more of a store to pick up refreshments and foods to take back to your dorm or hotel. We went in looking for some green vegetables and we purchased fresh broccoli, eggs, seltzer and other items do the store had everything and more than we were looking for!
Maya Patel: Great place for a quick healthy lunch
Isabel Alvarez: The staff are very nice and the variety of food, snacks, and drinks is great. However, my boyfriend just got halfway through a cup of ramen that expired in April. He started realizing the noodles, tofu, and broth tasted really off. I'm thinking this is likely a result of the pandemic and the difficulties around running a business during this time. Nonetheless, be careful to check expiration dates for anything you purchase here, and it makes me nervous to buy any of their fresh food if labels of ingredients are not checked before use.
Susan Doll: Good food. Nice choices.
Samir Dahdouh: I came to this place this morning i had a very bad experience of customer service… guys didn’t even say hi… don’t smile… talked very rudely… i can’t give zero stark … i can’t understand people like this… working in store with customers and don’t know how to act with people… guys if you don’t like your job just quit… why did you give your bad mood to other???
East Coast Resident: This is an excellent grocery store. They have an eclectic mix of high quality food, including typical daily staples, fresh produce, and great Asian foods and candies. They're a little less expensive than Whole Foods while still selling higher quality food.
IDHD: Rude. Would not let me buy a four pack of beers because I was with my young children. Asked for their ID. Will never go back
DL: 👍🏻
Angela Chin: If I can rate this 0 stars I would. My friend and I went to this Wholesome Fresh in Harvard Square right after work to grab something to drink. My friend grabbed two Coronas as I was grabbing an aloe and bubble tea drink. We went to the cashier and the guy who was working there in front ( Saturday 17th, at 5:35pm ) told my friend to show him an ID. My friend did, and the cashier told me to show ID. My friend said why when my friend was the one who was buying the Coronas. The guy became rude.
Robert B: Very very good sandwiches in the back. Great bread
Alyca Simon: Reasonably priced smoothies!
J Archer: Stole my heart.Fed my stomach.Heart grew back.
Danelle Weaver: Their lunch buffet is amazing. I ate here every day while in town. It changes daily and is very economical. You won't want to miss it.

Pemberton Farms Marketplace: what do users think?
James Carr: Very charming grocery store with a wide range of lesser known brands. Also serve sandwiches so good we often walk down just for lunch.
Nicole Verde: A local family owned and run spot. Great greenhouse with a wide selection of plants, knowledgeable staff, and lots of garden accessories. Slightly pricey but great quality.
Karen Cookie: Great takeout!
Ellyn Ponkey: This place has tons of unique stuff. Got fresh made sandwiches, outstanding; cookies, need more; everything was fresh! Going back ASAP
Nancy J Roach: Always have luck finding what I need : food for dinner, delicious coffee cake, beautiful plants, some great nibbles for happy hour..
Trevor: Interesting foods, good croissants.
Stelios Sidiroglou-Douskos: Great place!
RM Fouche: Great selection!
Jerry Britto: truly an institution. anything you can imagine just might be found at pemberton farms
Katie Lavery: A bit pricey, but that’s to be expected as many products are imported or speciality items. Good selection of imported cheese and meat, this will be my go to if the jamón craving hits. Prepared foods and sandwiches are yummy too!
Jennifer Liang: Great grocery store around the area! Lots of options for bakery and deli items
Kathleen Byrne: They lost me today. I went in to buy rice krispies for a snow day activity for my kids. A family size box was $9.99. The same box at target is $4.79. I know shopping local will be more expensive, but that mark-up is more than what I am willing to pay.
V.S.: My go-to place for wide variety of healthy foods and spirits. Nice selection of meats, cheeses, and wine. Friendly and kind staff. They make the best ham & cheese croissants in their bakery section. Produce could be fresher, but no complains otherwise!
Alejandra Rodriguez: today (3/12/23) my partner and I went to get some groceries. We both has face masks on. We got two bottles of wine and got carded by the cashier. The cashier barely glanced at mine, but took my partner’s ID and put it in a machine. The cashier kept staring daggers at my partner. My partner was wearing makeup. On their ID my partner has a beard and says they’re male. The cashier kept staring and wouldn’t complete our transaction and called a manager. I askedthe cashier if my ID needed to be scanned as well. The cashier just said no. The manager asked my partner to pull down their mask and gave a thumbs up. This was humiliating. The manager did not apologize. The cashier barely whispered a “sorry about that.” I don’t think we’ll ever shop at Pemberton again
C P: Shop local when possible. Also had a really great beer section!
Ryan Lothian: Expensive
R Smith: Not cheap but super cute...did I mention it's not cheap?
Duke Briscoe: Quality selection of fruit and produce, bread, cheeses, other specialty foods. Organic choices. Good prepared foods, cakes, deli. Overall one of my favorite stores. Nice staff.
Bernie Pucker: Will return soon. Excellent selection and good prices. Accommodating.
Akash Srivastava: Had ruben from their deli, it was great!
Tina Lieu: Since Pemberton enlarged and renovated it's grocery, I no longer go to Whole Foods. The produce is good quality and variety with lots of interesting canned/jar speciality foods from different cuisines, a wine shop, cheese section and all the usual grocery needs, but also unusual offerings like preserved lemons and other Middle Eastern items. The shelves are packed like a NYC bodega!

Brothers Marketplace: what do users think?
Ismail Ben Atitallah: They use ingredients that are not considered safe by the FDA, so they clearly don’t care about their customers health. Their prepared foods contain partially hydrogenated vegetable oil (PHO), “Removing PHOs from processed foods could prevent thousands of heart attacks and deaths each year” according to the FDA.They also have tons of additives. I don’t want to see a list of 30 plus ingredients for a recipe that normally has 5 ingredients if it was homemade.
A: Priced incredibly high and food and produce is usually stale
Brandon Mercurio: This place has the worst breakfast. Always crusty eggs. Foolish cardboard boxes to eat out of. The French toast sticks are hard as rocks. No bacon at this time. At 9:30am there is hardly anything left and their already putting out the lunch menu. Do yourself a favor and go to dunkin donuts next door.
Martin Schumacher: Guter und sauberer Supermarkt. Viele frische Produkte. Nicht gerade günstig. Angebote an Snacks wie sandwiches u.ä. ganz gut.
Amit S: Rated it 5 some time ago. Reducing the rating because of irrational price increases.
River Yang: A little bit overpriced overall but given the convenient location it's acceptable. Fruits are just bad. Don't buy fruits from here. The ribeyes at the butcher is really good. Probably the only thing I'd pick up every time. Other than that, not that many choices comparing to Trader Joe's.
Xinyi Wu: Price way too high, and they don’t even sell fresh corns😅
Jonathan Carey: Pretty cool little store in a convenient location. It's got everything!
Jennifer Bassett: I love the salads. Pre-prepared food is pretty yummy. Convenient location across from Kendall T stop.
Archana Sondhi: Good location with okayish quality. It's not always fresh and their prices are crazy and just keep going up.
William Machanic: A nice and much needed grocery market in Kendall Square. Go there both for lots of prepped foods as well as standard grocery items. Very convenient for those who work or live in this area.
Amit Schechter: Could be good but prices are way too high (30%-50% higher than Whole Foods on many items).
Anne N: Very nice produce! And some stuff cannot be found elsewhere e.g. non-cafeinated coke.
Brian Twitchell: Good selection of local and organic food. Small selection of some nice plants and flowers. Has self checkout and mobile payment. Clean and bright interior.
Cheryl Dickey: Great service
Shivani T: Small but well stocked grocery store in Kendall Square. Definitely overpriced and closes early though
Ryan C: Great location and useful in an emergency, but everything here is literally twice as expensive as Trader Joe's or Star Market, and it closes at 8pm! Hopefully once CVS opens nearby and there is no reason to shop here they will have to drop their prices.MIT only got Brothers to open here because Kendall Square is a food desert, so it's disappointing to see Brothers price gouging like this.
Yvette Talenda: Great service, delicious food! Nice atmosphere. Ate inside and outside on a numerous occasions. Bought dinners to heat up, delicious every time. A must visit!
oo-: Pricey
Malcolm Mayfield: So... Been in Kendall for about two years... Just discovered this is a real store and not a "small market" or one of those community pantry things an apartment may offer. It's a whole store! With a hot breakfast and lunch bar. Tff!!
Paul Surette: I usually buy their petite sirloin steaks. Really good cut. Their lunch hot bar is dated and expensive. The deserts they buy are pricey but quality is gtreat.
