Rockler Woodworking and Hardware - Cambridge: what do users think?
Robert Swenson: Staff is very helpful. Store has more than you can browse in a day, covering woodworking, carving, drawer and cabinet hardware, and resin casting.I don't live nearby, so I try to stop in whenever I am in the area. Really great place.
Sinan Goknur: I took two workshops so far, Eric’s cuttingboard class and Palo’s kumiko course, both were excellent, highly recommend. If you like to work with hand tools only, don’t miss kumiko!
John Luther: Great store and good prices
Michael Owen: The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable of their products, very customer oriented. They helped me pick the tools that I needed for my projects over the last few years.
Sean: Frankly, I want Woody to become a regular at my bar. He was the coolest guy, had all the answers to questions we didn't even know to ask. Support this business.
erica redner: I went in not really knowing how to describe what I had and didnt take a good picture, but I had the old hinge (no longer made and was broken). I felt really dumb because what should have been an easy fix was, in fact, a mess. The gentlemen who helped me were awesome. I showed them the old hinge and described the cabinet door and placement. They told me what I needed was no longer made, but showed me the newer way of doing it and how to install it. I finally got around to doing it. Cabinet fixed!
Carlos J. Iñesta: Si trabajas con la madera. Este sitio lo tiene todo
Matt Cicciari: I'm not sure which is better: the friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and experienced staff, or the huge inventory of "toy store for woodworking and construction" products. Great resource.
lawrence brown: knowledgeable, friendly staff
bradley schmidt: I can spend hours here. If you are into any kind of woodworking, you have to check it out. I only wish I didn't have to drive 45 minutes to get here.
Barry Glass: Staff knew the right product for the job and I was in and out and back to work quickly.
Melody: Very professional! Liam is the wood specialist in laser cutting explaining how the woods would behave very well!
Jonathan Tidman: Truly the Pinnacle utopia of any woodworkers destination. Unparalleled selection and quality of name brand or in house specialized woodworking jigs and tools. High end wood selection tops the bill. The benefit of selecting in person combined with the knowledgeable staff creates an enjoyable stop at anytime.
Dianne Cassidy: Great epoxy class with Palo!!
marcus williams: 1st time there. A ton of woodworking products and tools there. Will be back.
Jeff Mitchell: Fantastic woodworking class. Palo was great as was the rest of the staff. Would highly recommend to anyone.
Meagan McLoughlin: Great experience at the bowl making/woodworking class, I think I may have found my new favorite hobby. Palo was an exceptional teacher, very calm, knowledgeable, and helpful. Highly recommend!
Kelsey Comeau: The older gentleman reserved / put aside some veneer for us, super helpful and nice. The other sale staff member at the register, was super rude when I asked him a question about my veneer that I was spending good $$$ on. Super rude.
Mark: Very knowledgeable and helpful employees. Provided the expertise I needed to attempt successfully a DIY project. I’ll definitely be back.
Fred Muehter: Like a candy store for wood workers! Very helpful crew at this location.
Jonathan Finlay: A+ help from the people working there, found the correct parts for a cabinet I'm working on.

Anderson & McQuaid Co, Inc.: what do users think?
Jim G: Very friendly and helpful for a novice like me.
Karen Buttiglieri: My husband and I love Anderson McQuaid! The quality of their products is unbelievable! The service we receive from Bob is fabulous too. Years ago we renovated our home that was built in 1933 and replaced all of the moldings. It came out beautiful! We recently moved to a condo which lacked the detail we were accustomed to. We added crown molding and we could not be more pleased. Our next project, we are replacing the door casings and baseboards. We will definitely return to place our order.
Jaimie DeRosa: Fantastic experience and Joe was super helpful too!
John Luther: Great selection and reasonable prices
Matt Brennan: Quality materials and the best resource for matching historical moldings at very reasonable prices. You can also have them mill your own profile (knives and set up fees apply) in a variety of wood species. Guys in the yard are very helpful and friendly
Emily Honig: If you own an old house in the Boston area, or if you're working on an old house, you need to know about this place. Their millwork catalog is next level -- if you are having trouble matching a moulding, or your contractor tells you it can't be matched because they don't have it at the big box store, try this place -- they have a huge number of stock profiles, and zillions more "semi custom" profiles (custom, but they already have the knife made, which saves a substantial cost). Their customer service is also excellent, from helping you find the right thing to helping you get it home.
Gaya Ovsepyan: What a great place. So many options to choose from, and staff is extremely helpful. Big big thank you to Bob who saw how overwhelmed I was and helped me to pick out everything I needed
S M: Select of finish lumber is awesome
lisa d.: It seems pointless to write a review for Anderson McQuaid since everyone already knows that they are the best! I have used them several times over the years and was there recently the other day. Bob in the warehouse was extremely helpful and pleasant. And Nick helped me pick the stock, make a few cuts, and loaded up my car. All very friendly, professional and just plain nice! A+++ Products and Service as always! Thank You AM!
Kate Ruh: With the already severely limited hours, closing for a week is not a good look, but the least they could do is update their hours on Google....
Susan Silberberg: What a pleasure to go to Anderson & McQuaid today! I am not a contractor and didn't know what to expect when I showed up with my molding sample from my house but from Joe in the front office to the experts in the back warehouses, everyone looked at the molding I was trying to match, gave me their suggestions, and then sized it all out, cut the pieces, and had it all ready in 30 minutes. It was a large order and it all seemed effortless and everything was in stock. They actually make all of these wonderful moldings and trim on site so their stock is quite good!
Kevin O’Neill: Great selection and very helpful staff. No where like it in the area
Richard Burns (BEAVE): Better and less stressful than home depot
Jed Dorsheimer: One of my favorite places. Staff is super helpful and product is the best.
Mike Duffy: In and out no problem
Rebecca Hodges: Oh, how I love this place. I was sent to AM by my contractor to pick out molding for some that needed to be replaced in the 1900's house my husband and I are renovating. When I walked in I met Bob - my new best friend. Not only did he know what I believe to be every style that they carry off the top of his head, but he was incredibly helpful and insightful about project details that needed to be addressed. Now whenever I go back, I always look for him. As for the product, the options are plentiful, the wood is great quality, and each and every piece was assessed before the final sale. I will go back here for any and all of my woodworking projects in the future and I highly recommend you do as well. Thank you Bob and Anderson & McQuaid Co!
Deon Wolpowitz: Extremely knowledgeable staff that is friendly and accessible. Bob in the molding department went above and beyond! He took the time to help me match moldings to a historic image in order for me to create a replica. Also, the wall of samples really allows a novice to see the moldings in 3D and better understand the catalogue. With employees like Bob, not going anywhere else for moldings.
Clint Rhoden: They're forcing employees to get vax'd or lose their job. They already had a few guys give 2 week notices and others flat out quit. Don't spend your money here. There are other places to get these materials.
Michel Francisco: Good place to get all your custom wood
Lori Leahy: I have been working on our renovation for a few years now and have gone to many, many home improvement supply places. Not only does this place have an amazing array of molding options they have the friendliest most helpful employees. I walked in there with no idea what I wanted but needed to get something ASAP for the contractors who were waiting for me. I was approached by Bob who quickly pointed out some excellent options, set them up so I could visualize it, cut it to size and loaded it in my car. He was easy going and patient and funny! This renovation has been a bear but it is experiences like this that keep me going. Thanks Bob, we could not have asked for better service or advice!
Samantha Lehrer: Buying molding at Anderson & McQuaid was very easy and everyone was super helpful. I will definitely be a repeat customer.
