Muz Trained Wrestling Club: what do users think?
Mayor Curley: Awesome coach. Muz is an All-American and international competitor. Totally the real deal. Glad I found him when I was looking for a good coach and technician for my son. His brother Bek is awesome too. Bek defeated Jordan Burroughs in the Olympics and is 7-0 in MMA. These guys know how to win! Great people too
AJ Jaffe: One of the best coaches in the world at all age levels. No one is better at developing great wrestlers and young men.
Louella Wiitala: Great club , coach has so much knowledge in all styles of wrestling . To be the best train with the best ...
Diane Curley: Muz is an outstanding coach! He has worked with my son for several years and has helped him improve his skills tremendously! He is also highly respected by the athletes who work with him. Without a doubt, I would highly recommend Coach Muz!
jason bottiglieri: The improvement in my son’s technique over a short period of time was remarkable. It’s the small things that make a big difference with Muz Trained. If you want to learn from World Class coaches who have won on every level, this is the place.
Stas Gavronsky: My son is lucky to have Muz as his coach. Muz brings a level of mastery to wrestling and coaching that is outstanding and really hard to find.
Keith Deeley: World class coaches that teach amazing technique for all levels of wrestling.

Karen Bittner: Coach Muz is without a doubt the best coach around. Our son has been training with Coach Muz for years. We’ve watched as his skill level improves dramatically each year. Coach Muz is tough but has a great sense of humor and is great with wrestlers of all ages.

Ginsberg Academy BJJ: what do users think?
Carlos Sessa: great place for bjj!
Sarah Wasinger: Wonderful place to practice jiu jitsu whether you’re a beginner or advanced. Very nice, highly skilled training partners and a great friendly environment! Instruction is always top notch and safety is a priority
James Dunne: SUCH A WONDERFUL PLACE! I came from my first gym in Tucson and was nervous to try a new place. Ginsberg BJJ is AMAZING. Coach Dave is extremely knowledgeable, friendly and genuinely loves his students and his school. The other students were very welcoming and there is a good mix of total beginners and extremely skilled fighters. The space itself is beautiful and big and has a very authentic, no nonsense old school feel to it. Good vibes all around. Unfortunately I had to leave the gym for another move to the West Coast but I miss it already. I just came back from my first class trying out another local gym here and it was very good but it made me miss Ginsberg BJJ and realize what a special place it is. It motivated me to go write this review in appreciation. If you are local, call Coach Dave up and join, you will be happy you did!
Monta Wiley: Just recently I was in boston on vacation and had the opportunity to visit Ginsberg BJJ . After my recent experience, I can confirm that this gym does not deserve 5 Stars. In fact, IT DESERVES MORE THAN 5 STARS !! Everyone from the instructors to the students welcomed me, were very friendly, and gave me some awesome training while in town. Even let me borrow a gi, when I forgot mine haIf anyone is in the boston area and looking for a place to train, ginsberg jj is the place to be !!thank you everyone for the great time.
Matthew Bemis: Ginsberg Academy is an incredibly positive learning environment. Coach Dave prioritizes a welcoming and respectful culture and it shows with all the members of the gym. Beyond this, there's a lot of super talented athletes that you can learn from and train with. Coach Dave is one of the nicest people I've ever interacted with.
Ethan Gilbert: Amazing place to train. World class coaches and amazing training partners. Fun atmosphere, emphasis on safety and practicality, and great camaraderie. Would recommend to anyone.
kenny gatlin: Always a great time when visiting. Professor Dave is very knowledgeable and I never leave without getting taught something new or getting help on tightening up some techniques.
Zhenhuan Sun: Safe and friendly environment. The coach is very knowledgeable.
Katie Perez: This Academy is a true gem; Professor Dave is incredibly skilled and knowledgeable as well as kind and deeply caring towards his students. The instruction is top-notch and the energy is positive and focused; the rolls are fun, competitive and safe. There aren't really words for how great the Ginsberg Academy is but if I could give 10/5 stars I would
Rachel Beauchamp: Professor Dave has helped me improve my skill set each time I’ve visited his academy. He is extremely knowledgeable, checks in on your comfort and safety continuously throughout training and his gym is kept very clean.
Jaimerson Aguirre: Great experience great vibe from everyone especially Professor Dave, helped me work on my weaknesses and what to work on etc OSS!!
Chris Keller: I recently visited Ginsberg academy for a weekend of BJJ training, and it was an amazing experience. Professor Dave and his students were all so welcoming and willing to share their knowledge. It was a true privilege to work with such an incredible group of martial artists, and I’m eagerly looking forward to another chance to visit.
Tolik Zinovyev: Awesome coach and great clean gym! Training there is always a pleasure.
Brian Cutts: Got to visit Ginsberg's Academy this February for American Grappling Federation. I got the chance to stop in and personally be welcomed by the owner Dave. Dave has an impressive resume and represents some of the best BJJ here in Boston, be sure to check his gym out.
Vsevolod Tsodokov: This is an amazing place to come and learn jiu jitsu, train and to take your game to the next level. Dave, the head coach, is a bottomless well of knowledge, and an amazing trainer. All people I met there, without exceptions, are humble, friendly, and a pleasure to train with.Safety as also very high on everyone’s agenda there.Highly recommend to train there for all levels- from novices to professional atgeletes/bjj practitioners.
Charlie Liu: Their "Peaceful Dragons" program is the best kids martial arts class I've seen ever: I checked out first class with my 7 yr old last sunday and we'll be back: super fun and managed to teach BJJ basics in a very fun way, also very active and positive. David (besides being super friendly in general and expert at BJJ etc) is fantastic with engaging young kids at their level. Class was exercise packed for the kids and very well thought out to introduce/ sneak in lots of real skills (not just random games or useless things that look good) in an almost free play context--almost a "Montessori" approach to martial arts.
Isaac Godfried: I have been training at Ginsberg Academy off and on for more than 5 years. In the past two and a half years in particular it has become the place where I spend perhaps the greatest amount of my free time. While the quality of BJJ has always been top notch, I've also had the pleasure to see an increase in the number and types of classes. The academy now has BJJ classes 7 days per week and both Wrestling and Muay Thai classes. I frequently look forward to spending long nights at the academy where I get there around 6 for Muay Thai and stay late into the night rolling and chatting with teammates. However, even though the number of classes has increased the quality of instruction has not deteriorated. Unlike some gyms where purple belts teach many classes Professor Ginsberg still teaches the vast majority of BJJ classes (and the ones he doesn't teach are taught by other black or brown belts). The academy also takes safety and hygiene very seriously particularly with respect to COVID-19.
Ryan Miller: Positive:Communication,ProfessionalismThe atmosphere at Ginsberg Academy is fantastic. Excellent instruction paired with friendly and kind people has made for an awesome transition from my old gym.
Alexander Rush: Positive:QualityI've trained at 8 academies in two cities and this one is by far the safest, thanks to Professor Ginsberg's oversight. If you want to get good at Jiu Jitsu, you don't want to get injured. Also, I've learned the most/fastest here.
James Larisch: I've been training here for ~3 years now. The staff (especially Dave Ginsberg) is fantastic, the environment is safe, clean, friendly, humble, and fun, and the jiu jitsu is top-notch. Honestly it's one of the best parts about living here. Great for both competitors and people looking for a workout.
Michael Wing: I've spent the last few months training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu at Ginsberg Academy and my experience has been nothing short of amazing.Professor Dave is a very skilled and friendly instructor that does his best to ensure students are training in a safe but engaging way. As a newer student, I have been extremely impressed with Dave's ability to foster a great learning and growth environment, where more senior students provide mentorship to newer students and developing students are encouraged to take on mentorship roles as they grow. The academy does its best to accommodate a wide range of schedules and learning styles. I feel like students are almost always training for hours after the formal class sessions, which is crucial for people who work pretty late, and instructors are always communicating the important details for techniques they're teaching so students are clear on why you perform a move a certain way, and not just how.I unfortunately had to move recently, but my time at Ginsberg Academy has me hooked on BJJ (I trained there 3-5 times/week and for sure plan to continue) and would 100% recommend that anyone looking to train BJJ/Judo/Wrestling/Muay Thai in the Boston area to go check it out!

The instruction and knowledge from all the professors/Coaches is top notch and professional. This school has a place for everybody, from women looking to learn self-defense, kids, young athletes looking to get into competition, or your average Joe. I have trained in several different schools around the world and MassBJJ has everything you need to begin your Jiu Jitsu journey. If you’re looking for Self-defense training, or looking to get into competition, this is the place to go. Every single member I encounter from this school was super humble and willing to give you guidance with whatever you needed, definitely zero egos at this school. I will definitely be coming back to this school every time I come to visit family in Boston. Thank you to Mike the Owner/Proffesor and all the staff and team members of the MASSBJJ academy for such an awesome experience.
Carlos Abreu: MassBJJ by far is my personal favorite place to go to! The atmosphere is electric, and we are a martial art community that hold each other accountable to be the best that we can. Very inclusive community! No place I would rather spend more time at then MassBJJ! 👊🏽 🏽
Alexander: After a year of training here I can confidently say this is the best martial arts gym I've ever attended. The instructors are incredibly insightful and patient and every training partner is considerate and friendly. What Mike has done to build and nurture such a welcoming environment is nothing short of amazing. I recently moved back to Arlington just to be closer to the gym. I couldn't reccomend Mass BJJ enough.
Anthony Piccirillo: Never been happier training. 100% recommend to anyone at any level.
NAKIBINGE BBS_EDUC 2021: Can't recommend it highly enough.
Michael Lopez: I joined specifically because of their range of classes all included in the monthly cost. There is something for everyone and I'm still exploring the options available
Stefan G: Excellent gym all around. The instructors are friendly and great at explaining techniques and the members are very warm and welcoming. Great place to learn BJJ!
Brian Cutts: I had a great time training at MASS BJJ here in Arlington! I get to train at different gyms all over the USA for American Grappling Federation and MASS’s entire team made me feel welcomed and gave me tips about the Boston area
Appleseed Carpentry: Positive:QualityThis is a great place to train and exercise.
Nick Milazzo: Excellent instruction and fantastic culture! Probably the best gym I've trained at.
Joshua Griffiths: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,ValueAMAZING! Can't say enough good things about Mike and his program. His attention to detail and genuine love for teaching shows in every session at the school!
Steve Meade: Mike Pellegrino and the whole team of instructors at Mass BJJ Arlington have been great. I am new to Ju Jitsu, a bit older, and not in the best shape of my life, but they have made sure that I can get the most out of the program. They have challenged me while simultaneously understanding where I am starting from. Can't recommend it highly enough.
Sergei Pustylnikov: Excellent BJJ school.

617 Brazilian Jiu Jitsu: what do users think?
Brian Heaton: I have been training for a year and a half and try to visit gyms when I travel. This is by far the best jiu jitsu gyms I’ve been to. The coaching is organized, the coaches are advanced and extremely helpful, the classes are prompt and organized, and the gym is spotless. The coaches sanitize the mats after every class along with sweeping and vacuuming. The members are all great people also, this place breeds a respectful atmosphere.
Ian Griffith: Excellent gym. World class coaches, detailed instruction, and a humble community of students make for a perfect atmosphere to train in. Certainly the best in the greater Boston area.
Chris Gassen: Very supportive and positive environment. I started from no BJJ experience, and the professors have been really hands on and accessible, including Hugo from the start. They make you feel welcome as a complete beginner and encourage asking questions. They’ve created a culture of collaboration where the focus is on helping everyone get better. Can’t recommend them enough.

Charlie Ventriglia: Incredible gym with amazing instructors and an easy atmosphere. As a beginner, I could not imagine a better place to train.
Danny Carvalho: Hands down best BJJ in New England coached by professor Hugo Marques. They also have great muay thai and wrestling classes. The teammates are very skilled and some of the best in the area. The students are also very welcoming and willing and eager to teach fellow students their craft and help you to succeed in your own personal goals. You join this team, you're becoming part of a family of great fighters and people.Professor Hugo keeps the gym immaculately clean at all times. Highly reccomend! Oss

Wai Kru: what do users think?
Bart Hoang: Been training all my life. Real OG kinda space
Ayame Brooklyn: Great gym and customer service. everyone is friendly and the classes are great!
Space is a Lie: I LOVE THIS GYM! 5 STARS, VERY NICE!
Joe Diaz: Great gym with a fun community and excellent instructors. You get alot out of each class both in workout & technique and there's a wide availability in times and types of martial arts taught.
Steve Kim: Joining Wai Kru was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Since day one, I have received nothing but top notch instruction. Instructors and members alike want you to succeed regardless of your experience level. They will work with you to unlock your fullest potential while keeping it safe and manageable. Classes include Muay Thai, BJJ, Judo, Wrestling, and MMA. Each one will give you an excellent workout and transform you into a fighting machine. Gym culture is excellent and everyone is warm, kind, and welcoming. You really feel a sense of community here. Would like to write more, but I’m about to head there to train.
Sary Godinez: Ive been training her for the past about 4 months and love this place so much I even signed my little brother up. All their instructors are very knowledgable and cater to your needs. The hours are flexible which is a big plus and the training sessions provide a very good workout. Ive learned so much in these past couple of months but what i like the most is the inclusivness and how everyone treats each other like family.
Mike Donovan: Positive:ValueBeen going to this gym with my teenage son for a few months. Tons of fun! Great people, atmosphere and coaching. We are both getting in shape and learning lots. Everyone is humble and friendly and it's been a great place for my son to learn from terrific role models.
Max Keating: Positive:Quality
Allen Martin: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Johnny Milligan: Excellent coaching staff with top notch instruction. This place is awesome if you train Muay Thai, BJJ, or MMA and a great environment for both beginners and peoplewith more experience. The training is tough, but the energy from teammates and coaches helps you push yourself to get better 💪 👍
Alex Sibert: I love this gym! Great workout and very high quality training. They have all different classes for BJJ (gi and no gi, focus more on no gi), Muay Thai, Judo and MMA. I mostly do BJJ and the instruction is especially great. Kru John and Professor Elbert are both highly skilled and teach fundamentals and positional/wrestling style techniques. I was completely new to the sport when I started but I was able to win a grappling competition after just 2 months of training!! The entire team did extremely well. For me, it was completely due to the uniquely comprehensive instruction of the BJJ training that focuses on modern jiujitsu (which doesn't normally get taught ANYWHERE). Muay Thai is also very high quality instruction and the workouts are incredibly effective. Coach Dave is a beast, he is great at getting everyone to push themselves. Everyone just wants to help you get better but they also respect your limits. The entire gym community is wonderful though and it quickly becomes a familiar place for everyone who joins. It's a fun group!
John Allan: Wai Kru is a very unique gym. The skill level is extremely high and the instruction is definitely top notch.. It's a super good place to start if you have never trained before. Classes run pretty much all day long and gym is open and available between classes. It's easy to get to from public transportation. From Harvard square to the gym only took me 15 min by bus. Sadly I left Boston after graduation but greatly appreciated my time at Wai kru
Illia Kotliar: Kru John gonna teach you the real jujitsu. MuayThai classes are the best!
Lytton pan: Super cool place with very practical training
Sthefano Alves: I am the Boxing Trainer/Front desk at Wai Kru. It’s been a bit of a rebuilding situation here for about a year now dealing with issues as listed in the reviews but nothing we can’t overcome! I apologize on behalf of Wai Kru for the bad experiences. What a lot of people don’t understand is this gym used to have a large stable of fighters that would compete but over the years that just isn’t the case anymore and it has been hard transitioning. Kru John works extremely hard and sometimes it can get overwhelming. But! Just know our Wai Kru team is working extensively hard for 2020-21 to deliver a new looking and a much more organized gym to cater to our members! Wai Kru is a family and always will be! Thank you!
Frank Garrett: If you want to pay professional prices for amateur instruction, this place is for you. Biggest fraud in the business. You will have the fundamental skill level of a Bodycombat class participant, who can’t even block a head kick properly or teach elbow defense.
Susan Tipton: I'm a martial arts instructor and a gym manager in Tennessee, my 17 year old son (who's trained since he was 10) spent 6 weeks in Boston this summer and found this gym entirely on his own. They treated him like family. He sent me some videos of his training with various coaches there- I was really impressed with the level of professionalism. He came home with sharpened skills and a lot of great memories. Thanks so much!
Future Classics Paradise: I have been training at Wai Kru for close to a year. I have notice a great deal of effort from the staff to constantly improve the program and the level of instructions...as well as the gym itself. I like the fact that all levels are welcomed and how the instructors work with the students. It is a straight forward program without being pretentious.Thank you...
Tabea Kuehn: It was my first time there and the trainer was really helpful and open to my non experience, I had a feeling that this would be a place where you can achieve your goals quickly
