This hearty soup was made with slow-cooked lamb, lentils, and fragrant spices that left me feeling warm and satisfied. The soup had a rich, earthy flavor that was perfectly balanced with a touch of tanginess from the yogurt drizzle on top. It was a perfect start to the meal and definitely worth trying.Moving on to the entrees, I highly recommend the Tikka Kabob. The beef was marinated to perfection, resulting in a tender and flavorful dish that was cooked to perfection. The spices used in the marinade added a subtle heat that was well-balanced with the smokiness from the grill. ken H: We had large group Dinner. Service and wait staff was adequate. Food over all was very good. Prices are very expensive for the portion and food items. They charge $29 for ground beef and rice. Ridiculous. It is well decorated and cozy ambiance.I would give 5 star if they had lower price for the kind of food they offer.But I won’t pay $28.95 for small ground beef with couple spoon of rice.

It was the best thing we did because everything we ordered was leaps and bounds better than any afghan restaurant we've been to. When dinning at restaurants we like to order multiple appetizers and one entree as this allows us to get a better feel for the different flavors in the cuisine. We ordered banjan, bolani, shor nakhod, ashuk for appetizers and chappli kebab for an entree. The entire time we kept looking at each other in amazement of how good the food was!! The naan they make, fresh out of a brick oven, reminded me of how my family made it back in Afghanistan and it tasted just as good!!!We have had our share of afghan food in many states ranging from New York, Northern Virginia and California but this place is hands down the best! Everyone was very hospitable and the ambiance of the place was perfect and our waiter was very attentive. We will DEFINITELY be coming back for more in the future!Vegetarian options: We ordered bolani and shor nakhod vegetarian options available on the menu.

This would be enough of a meal.Anyway whenever I go I typically choose eggplant and lamb. Both are cooked very well.The flavors seem to be the sweet spot between indian and middle eastern food.The service is always good.I love the properly prepared tables with table cloths, proper napkins etc.
