Lowell Anesthesiology Service: what do users think?
Bob Philpot: Three calls to my insurer and still going. The saga has played out over multiple months, so there have been multiple bills sent to me - my account number has been different each time the bill arrived? My insurer spoke with them directly and said they were extremely rude. They claimed that never received payment from the insurer, even though one of my bills shows that they did. Ridiculous!Update - After getting LGH involved, and a couple more calls to my insurer the issue was finally resolved. What a headache!
Courtney Bilodeau: They send you outdated i.e. incorrect bills and then they never pick up the phone.
Bob Y: Been trying to reach them for a week about a bill. No one answers the phone and the mailbox is already full.
Amanda Martin: I second the other reviewer that says, "Beware predatory business practices!" This is 100% accurate and her experience is almost verbatim my experience. Lowell Anesthesiology are predators that take advantage of people in the vulnerable position of needing surgery. My surgeon and surgery were precertified/approved as in-network by my insurance provider for Lowell General Hospital. However, a couple weeks after surgery, I received a letter that said the anesthesiologist was out of network. I received multiple anesthesiology bills totaling $2,120 (in addition to my approved surgical deductible/co-insurance costs - I was well over my out-of-pocket max for this surgery, as well). I have been fighting with my insurance company for over a year to have these charges escalated to "in-network" since I had no choice in my anesthesiologist. But the insurance having extra problems approving it because LA did not bill the charges correctly!! After a few months, LA sent my bill to a debt collector and now the debt collector is harassing me. I am scared that they will garnish wages or put a lean on our home. (I honestly feel like it's a scheme between the debt collector and LA - they must know insurance will take a long time to sort this mess out!) It's taking 3-4 hours monthly of my time to continually follow up, and to no avail. I am still fighting it a year later. (LA also has extremely limited hours and never answers their phone!! Extremely challenging for someone that works full-time). Like the other reviewer said - If you need an elective surgery, I suggest you take your business elsewhere.
Stephanie Shimkus: Beware predatory business practices! Just because your surgeon and surgery are precertified/ approved for Lowell General Hospital does not guarantee that the anesthesiologist they assign that day is in-network. I received two surprise anesthesiology bills totaling nearly $2,000 (which in addition to my approved surgical deductible/co-insurance costs that LGH demanded in ADVANCE, this one procedure totaled well over my $7,450 out of pocket maximum for the year). They also do not like negotiating with private insurers I have found. Lesson learned. If you need an elective surgery, I suggest you take your business elsewhere.

Dr. Gopala K. Dwarakanath: what do users think?
Stephen Goff: I didn't feel a thing! The best review I can give Dr D.He is so skilled that my spinal injection was painless. I've had them done 4 or 5 times over several years due to intense pain in my right leg and lower back- L4, L5, S1. When I first went in I was walking with two canes.Sometimes the relief is 90% and sometimes 75%. It lasts 3, 4, or up to 6 months.I totally recommend him !!! 👍👍👍I haven't used a cane in a couple years.

Lowell General Hospital Pain Management Center: what do users think?
Sean Turcotte: the staff is very friendly and my Dr Adler rocks she listens to what you say. and is a very caring doctor. I met someone knew today another Alexandra she was good also. The whole staff is awesome
David Bakke: This place only wants your money. They do not care about the patient and do not listen to the patients concerns. Such a waste of time. If Google only allowed negative stars to give this place their proper grade.
Kimerson: Excellent staff and Doctors. They keep a tight ship as far as pain medicine goes but that just tells me I’m in good hands. I’ve been going to the clinic for close to five years now and would highly recommend them.
Allison Reza: Extremely kind staff and excellent care. I’ve seen several other pain clinics in the past but have not gotten the quality of care I have with Dr. Adler. She is extremely attentive and goes out of her way to make sure you get the tests you need (despite insurance trying to deny them!)
Sarwar Khan Ghaznavi: The worst place that I have ever seen.I am an emergency patient and have been waiting for more than an hour. No response yet. Please, understand that, what the emergency is.
Kathy Alexander: Please do not take your elderly parents to this clinic. If I could give zero stars I would. First of all the man at the front desk couldn't tell us where to go properly when I called for the name and address, he kept referring to a landmark that I didn't know and sounded like he was half asleep. They are not sensitive to patients that don't have access to computers to do things electronically. Had a paper form to fill out and they kept my 96 year old mother waiting while we got all kinds of insurance information and an adjusters name and phone # before they would see her. She has health insurance that they can bill if for some reason there is an issue. Then when we were all done Dr. Adler said she couldn't see her because she was going to lunch. My mother has been in pain for months and finally got this appt after waiting 2 weeks and they refused to see her. I understand that they need insurance info but my daughter was there with her and they refused to see her while my daughter filled out the paperwork. They never indicated that they wouldn't be able to see her until everything was completed during the half hour process of completing the paperwork. We could've rescheduled and brought the paperwork in fully completed at the next appt. I work for a doctors office and we would never refuse to see a pt based on the fact that paperwork was not completed, especially someone who is 96 years old and in pain. We will definitely be seeking care elsewhere and escalating this treatment up the chain of command. I guess they have so many patients that they don't need new ones.
Roland M: I was very apprehensive since I do not like needles. These people were FANTASTIC. Very sympathetic and caring. There was discomfort but not really pain. I have to go back and I will not be worried. Dr Adler and her team did a FABULOUS job. No problem recommending them.
Susan Martin Tebbetts: Went in for a needle infusion procedure. No visitors right now. They can walk you to elevator. You have to wear a mask. They did not take my temp upon entry.Got off elevator right into waiting room. Checked in. Waited less than 4 minutes. Place was clean.they sterilized items. I was led into a room to lock my coat. They ushered Into a exam room. Took all my vitals. Brought me back to room where procedure was going to be performed. I was treated with respect by everyone. The staff was professional, caring, calming
Catherine Macleod: Dr Henkle has been so kind and attentive to my needs. He understands the pain I'm having. I have had 3 injections from him all of which have helped me alot. The staff is professional and friendly. Extremely clean office!!!!!!
Holly Norton: I had a wonderful experience with this office and received amazing care. I highly recommend Dr. Henkle and Tamra. It is clear they genuinely want to help ease the pain of their patients and offer many solutions for relief.
Vane Rodriguez: I honestly didnt want give them a star because they dont even deserve that! they dont care about there patients they only care about money my patient has been in severe pain with muscle spasms for a month mind you they are uncontrollable and hurt very bad! they also gossip about things in front of patients making them upset! no customer service what so ever! i would never go to this pain center for myself and I would never recommend it to anyone!
Kathy: If you have a death in the family and miss your appointment (even though you call the same morning to tell them) you still get charged a $25.00 missed appointment fee. No customer service skills from the receptionist, very rude
