Brandon called me within 12 hours of leaving a message, made sure parts were available for my parents old dryer before committing to a service call. He and his assistant Patience were thorough in troubleshooting the issue, which turned out to not be the appliance but a crushed vent hose in the basement causing it to overheat and shut down. This part had to be ordered and with supply chain issues I expected it to take a little. After a few weeks, I reached out to them and they said the parts hadn’t come in. Then a few months went by and I had to reach out again. But this time with no response. It’s now been 4-5 months and I just never heard from them again. Aggravated to say the least, very unprofessional. And unfortunate because like I said, nice guy, knows his stuff but the follow through and communication lacked. Brandon scheduled with us the same week, gave us a quote and a detailed explanation of each problem, making sure we knew which options he recommended (even though some of those options meant replacing the items and he wouldn't make any $). They fixed the dryer on the spot (and it has worked better than ever since then). Joyce Andrews: We bought our appliances when we first moved to dracut almost 20 years ago and wanted to keep it local so we started using Dracut Appliances. We moved into a new build in 2919 and again got all our appliances from Dracut Appliance. Since appliances we have changed so much we went with the extended warranties on all the appliances and have no regrets. We’ve had them out several times for our fridge and stove - problems that had nothing to do with Dracut Appliance - but were random things that went wrong. They come quickly- listen and ask questions. They are patient even when I ask them questions that are about tips for cleaning the oven glass! They spend as much time as needed to make sure they are getting the proper parts and give me an ETA of the parts. They are clean, professional and beyond patient! You can’t go wrong with either the service staff- they are top of the line!EDITED 3/10 - I honestly wish I could give them 10 stars! At the last visit to yet again, try to fix the lights in our fridge, the tech came in and said, you know what? This is ridiculous - I am declaring the fridge unrepairable and am going to recommend we send you a new fridge. I asked what I needed to do - he said nothing - I will start the process with the warranty company. He had a hard time getting in touch with them, but kept trying and kept me updated. I got calls as the process worked it way through and next thing you know I get the call when can we schedule delivery of your new fridge! Its been three weeks since the last tech came, and now we have our new fridge! Super nice guys - all of them and I honestly can say they have a customer for life - well, whenever I need a major appliance, which hopefully will not be for quite some time!

Matthew Parola: TLDR: I bought a dishwasher at Dracut Appliance; Dracut Plumbing installed it as poorly as possible, and I ended up with a leak under the floor damaging my kitchen cabinets and floor and part of my garage. Dracut Appliance offered no support or help and blamed it all on Dracut Plumbing, who did shoddy work. Two years later, there was still a leak.Two and a half years later I am still dealing with the damage and problems I experienced from Dracut Appliance and their installer, Dracut Plumbing. In early 2020 I bought the best dishwasher they sold and paid Dracut Appliance for delivery and installation. Dracut Plumbing installed this new appliance with the 10+ year old hose that runs behind my Lazy Susan because they did not want to do the work to run a new hose. That hose had bad seals. The connection on both sides leaked, including the connection between the dishwasher and the small adapter that they installed to connect it to this hose. This leaked under the floor and took almost a month to show, causing a large section of my kitchen floor, cabinets, and part of my garage (it’s under the kitchen) to be damaged. 2020 pre-inflation it was about $14K in damage. When I called Dracut Appliance about the leak, their response the moment they realized the install was Dracut Plumbing’s mistake, washed their hands of the whole event. The tech on site even said as much, putting all the blame on Dracut Plumbing and did not offer any more support to us. They just left. Even though, the only reason Dracut Plumbing was in my house was because Dracut Appliance hired them. Dracut Plumbing “fixed” the leak then, but having a new dishwasher installed today I found out, their “solution” had also been leaking a small amount of water for who knows how long. This is a TERRIBLE pair of companies that offer shoddy installation practices looking for the quickest turn around possible at the expense of the customer. And when I had a problem, they couldn’t get away from it fast enough, playing the blame game on each other. The damage to my home was horrible, compounded by a COVID lockdown preventing and delaying us from getting help. The way both companies wrote us off and would not offer any help or support is baffling. Dracut Appliance is a terrible place to buy from. I love to support local and small business; I am the owner of a small business myself. I cannot in good conscience let anyone shop or support this business. The damage to my home and the complete lack of support from this company is deplorable.

Nick (Nick D): Update: Dracut Appliance Center called 30 minutes after my review letting me know there was some miscommunication and that they would be refunding the parts price along with the 50 dollars towards a new washer. While still annoyed by that first call I'm happy they quickly corrected the mistake and were willing to make it right.Initial Review: We wanted to do our part and go local when trying to get our washer fixed. We brought in Dracut Appliance and 350-375 dollars later we're told that they fixed our problem (after the tech took about 5 minutes to look at it, if not less). Start up my first load of laundry maybe 30 minutes after he left and there's zero difference. He didn't fix the issue.Takes a few more days to get them to come back and when they do they send two techs who now spend about 30 minutes looking at the washer. No we're looking at about 700 dollars in extra repairs that these guys find. We say ok, no big deal we'll just buy a new washer but what about those first repairs which did nothing. Well I guess Dracut Appliance doesn't own there mistakes and instead of offering us the money back on the parts they only offer 50 dollars which doesn't cover sales tax.I wouldn't be so upset if they just didn't accept there mistake and offer us our parts price back for a new washer.

Since then, he has repaired our dryer and our washing machine. If he is stumped, he will research the issue and come back with a fix. He returns calls in a timely manner and is generally available within a few days of a phone call. His rates are fair and reasonable. He has been repairing my appliances for almost 20 years, but last week the washer was too expensive to fix, not worth the price, so Bill got me a new washer. Bill made the process of picking, buying and getting it installed so easy. He was even able to get the machine into my room without having to take the molding off the door frame - something Home Depot had to do 7 years ago to get the old washer in! And then Bill raised the shelf above the washer for me! Bill is a really nice guy and an honest man. If you need an appliance, you should get it from Bill.
Judith Carven: Bill, the owner of Action Appliance, has been my ONLY appliance repair and replacement person I have ever used since 1983. Honestly, I can not believe some of these outrageous reviews. A house call is a house call. Would you ever go into work and tell your employer not to pay you for the first half hour of each day?? NO A machine can not be diagnosed over the phone. Bill can not be expected to work for $000.00. THAT is outrageous! If you don't want to pay for the diagnostic, do it yourself! Good Luck!
Matt Verdon: I used bill a couple years ago to fix a stove that I was thrilled that I was able to get a couple more years out of so I figured I'd use him again. I called recently to have a two year old refrigerator looked at and he came out for maybe 3 minutes charged me $85 and told me it can't be anything major because the important components are working and we need to let it sit over the weekend to see if it works but the return call would be free. I called the following week to say it didn't work and he told me it's junk and he's not coming back out because he didn't need to. As a small business owner myself I'm embarrassed in this crooks ways of conducting business.
Abhijit Deshmukh: Called Bill to take a look at a Samsung front load washer which was making noise during spin cycle and stopped working. He came took one look at the washer and recommended replacing the washer and charged us $85 just to tell us that. After I looked at few Youtube videos he could have easily fixe it by replacing whichever part was needed to be replaced at much less cost than replacing. Would not call him again.
