Goldfish Swim School - Westford: what do users think?
Kelly Fernandes: Horrible experience, my son didn't know how to hold his breath and instead of teaching him they made him put his face and nose in water repeatedly getting water in his lungs. I could see way across from the viewing area how upset and in pain he was and none of the teachers in the pool or walking by could see. I had to take him out of the lesson where he started breaking down and coughing. Will never go back or recommend, my kids is traumatized and meanwhile I'm still paying for the school because they make you pay 30 days after canceling even though others are on the wait list. Don't be fooled by the pretty colors the substance of teaching is disgraceful! Also to the owner below I canceled 3/5 so of course you wouldn't charge for April, how does that help? Refund March is what you should do!
Nkechi Juliana: Nice place for kids to learn how to swim
Alessandra Duarte: Thank you for hearing us .
Varsha Kallanmarthodi Menon: It’s very clean and nice facility with great pool but unfortunately the curriculum not so great. Most of the lanes will have 3-4 kids and given the 25 minute class, your kid will not get more than 5-6 minutes of individual swim. Both my kids went there for a whole year, without taking a break and did not advance even one level. Given the location and classes were so convenient for us, we continued here until we realized it’s actually a waste for the kids time. We then enrolled them into a different school a bit far and the individual attention and focus on each skill set has made them advance multiple levels in months. The school should really focus on lowering the class size and paying more focus on individual level. Otherwise this is more like a never ending gym membership.
Andrea Howe: Beautiful facility, friendly staff, very happy with our experience so far.
Gianna Ferreira: Very clean and nice facility but the quality of the swim lessons are not good. Classes end at the 25 minute mark and most of the class is spent with each child just waiting for their turn. My daughter spends probably 5 minutes per class actually working on skills. The class is not challenging and I've seen very little improvement.
Andy Santos: Thank you Goldfish!
Janette Santana: My 5 year old son is always looking forward to swimming class! Very nice facility!
Gregory Laing: Fun, professional, safety concious environment.
Sai Kiran Camsarapalli: We enrolled my child as evaluated by goldfish in one of the groups. He spent a couple of months in that group about 3 weeks back he was informed he was ready to move up. They missed his evaluation last week.Today my spouse confirmed with the team who comforted her that the system would shows he will be evaluated. At the end of the class surprise surprise, no evaluation. They said it will be next week. Now we have paid for two classes with no new learning.Update 9/7Changed to 5 stars. Issue was corrected immediately and was an inadvertent miss.
Caroline Halloran: We love Goldfish Swim in Westford! They’ve been so great to us, always fair and understanding of us as a family. Both of our boys love swim lessons and the facility is very welcoming and well kept!
DAVID Pritchard: The facility is wonderful well staffed my Granddaughter is taking her first lessons and cannbe happier with the results
atahar mostafa: Nice clean swimming school. Staffs are very helpful. But very unhappy with the course design. For 8 months, my daughter is learning how to get in the swimming pool and getting out from it. Well, some kids may have difficulty to learn quickly but that’s not the case. I didn’t find them set any challenge that the kids like to overcome. I have decided to discontinue and not recommending anyone.
Janhavi Limaye: My son was attending the swim lessons since he was toddler. Within couple of years we haven’t seen any progress. Most of the time he sits and waits for his turn during 25 min lesson. I was trying to schedule private lessons, however front desk was keep giving COVID excuses. Really disappointed with such nice facility.
Michele Dietz: My son is in a class with three other kids. He spends 2-4 minutes in the water out of each 30-minute class and he sits on the edge of the pool for rest of class. Classes are cut 5 minutes short for kids to transition in and out of the water, so class is really on 25 min. He is unlikely to learn to swim with such limited time in the pool. Definitely not worth 130+ per month.
v 007: It is swimming school for kids
NoFate247: Plenty of parking, very clean facility (bathrooms & changing rooms). This is a great place to bring your young child to learn to swim. The staff is so accommodating and willing to help your child overcome whatever might be holding them back. They honestly care about teaching your child to swim and not just collect a paycheck. They are very good about rescheduling classes, when your child can't make it too. My 2 children go here and I'm very happy with them.
Bethany Beck: So far we love Goldfish Swim School. My child is in the mini 1 class and she can already move her arms and kick her legs. In all the instructions have been good. Some go above and beyond.
Bianca Madongorere: My daughter has been attending Goldfish Swim school since November 2021 (she was 11 months at the time of enrollment) & I’ve been thoroughly impressed! The water is warm, the instructors are welcoming & enthusiastic and the environment is safe with everyone following COVID protocols. Changing rooms are clean, dry & always available. Staff is organized & caring. I even lost my daughter’s hat and when I went to the front desk, one of the staff members had found it! I was on the waiting list for almost 3 months before I joined, but at the end of the day; it was worth the wait. This an excellent, top-notch facility. The best way my daughter will learn how to swim.
Wang Eastbrook: I’m somewhat satisfied with this school. Facility is pretty good but the teachers are on constant rotation every week. I’ve been bringing my 3 year old here for the last year and she is still in the beginner class. It’s very difficult to move up to the next level(I believe she should be in the next level but there are no available spots so they are holding her back) and It gets frustrating in the beginner classes because not all the children cooperate and the other half are terrified of the water.I recently canceled my membership for lack of progress.(there is a 30 day cancellation policy😒) My 3 year old is more comfortable in the water but it seems more like playing than taking an actual swim lesson.Overall I would recommend this school if your child can already kinda swim. If they are going as a complete noob then I would wait it out until they are older or not afraid of the water.
Tania Ward: My daughter has made significant progress with swimming. Her instructor, Morgan, is great with kids. Both of my children felt comfortable with her, therefore able to develop skills they didn’t have prior to the start of swim class .

Goldfish Swim School - Burlington: what do users think?
Lindomar Fantin: Best swim school
Casey Clarke: We love the facilities and teachers at Goldfish!
Sanghamitra Nayak: I started my 3.5 year old swimming lesson last summer . Every month I have seen her improving . The instructors teach with passion and dedication . They handle kids with patience. My daughter enjoys it . The pool is always clean and staff are friendly too.
Jennifer O'Rourke: The staff at goldfish swim in Burlington are friendly, attentive, knowledgeable, and kind! Customer service is terrific and facilities are very clean!
amy L: I absolutely love this school. My daughter Anastasia has had some amazing instructors. She is loving her lessons and looks forward to attending every week.
just me: 👍 Great learning experience!! My daughter loved it. 😍
Maura Macomber: Great instructor. Parent and child enjoyed experience. Only negative was it felt rushed but we had fun!
Divya Chandra: Love the facility its so well managed. The teachers are really patient with the kids - getting them to first love being in water and then slowly working on teaching swimming.
Neeraj Khatri: Good for entertainment and for your kids to have a dip in water. But if you want them to learn swimming, do yourself and your kids a favor - find something else! They are not going to learn to swim here. Lots of issues to talk about - mainly the teaching process to instructor experience etc.But I am going to keep this short. My kids went here for several years without learning ANYTHING!! And just a few lesson somewhere else - and they almost have it now.Comon goldfish. Its highly disappointing.
nital patel: I can’t speak for lessons here since we haven’t taken any, but if the staff is half as good as the staff that handled our birthday party, I would say they are worth every penny. To the four staff members who helped us last night, you were phenomenal and literally went above and beyond with our children. Highly recommend anyone reading this to host your children’s birthday parties here.
Sara Florence: Nice and fun environment.
Aravind Udayakumar: Instructors are really engaging and encourage the kids to learn swimming in a playful setting.
Edith Ortiz: Best people ever!!
The Story Place: I’m so frustrated. My 4 year old son takes lessons here and it used to be the best part of his week. Lately, it’s a bunch of untrained children instructing. My son cried for the first time ever at lessons today. He has a new teacher every single week and they have almost all been terrible. My son has been getting overwhelmed with it. We have attended Goldfish since he was 5 months old with no tears. This week he broke. He sobbed on the island for 30 minutes while being completely ignored by both instructors. They made no attempt to be playful or comfort him. The instructors were not confident. You could tell they had no idea what to do. These are the most expensive swimming lessons in the area. It used to be well worth the money. Not anymore. I know COVID happened and they had to let people go and then hire again, but this is unacceptable. They need to shut down for 2 weeks and train the staff! Or at least have someone who can supervise lessons and pick out the staff who need more training.
Katie Luddy: Wonderful place totally focused on safety in the water, and they make it fun!!0
N Douglas: Very minimal contact time between trainer and trainee (at time 4 children with 1 instructor within 30 minutes). Classes are canceled on holidays without further compensatory arrangements. I missed 4 classes which equates to a full paid month. In general I didn't feel satisfied.
Andrea Carrillo-Rhoads: I enjoyed that everyone was required to mask while numbers of vaccinated folks in Mass arose. I appreciate the social distancing of chairs and the format of our mini class.
Wilman Kadaffy Ureña Lora: Great place to swim 🏊‍♂️ class
Carol Foley: Goldfish swim school makes everyone feel safe by implementing distancing, masks in the waiting area and cleaning their changing rooms. I don’t see how you could really do anything else! Keep up the good work.
Christopher Savio: Been going for 2 months with our 2.5 year old and have been super impressed with the teachers and their ability to keep our son engaged and excited, even when he's a little nervous.
Daniel Navarro-Gomez: Nice place for small kids to learn

Pool School Plus: what do users think?
Karen Hardwick: The instructors are fantastic! They have a low teacher to student ratio (generally 1:4, sometimes as low as 1:2), and my kids love it! I have kids who aren't super attentive, but the instructors are always able to get and keep their attention.

Little Flippers Swim School: what do users think?
Greg Kamstra: My daughter has been coming for about a year and a half and been through a bunch of the levels. We’ve had a fantastic experience. The staff has all been great. She’s really learned a ton and also has a lot of fun / has always really looked forward to coming. Honestly no complaints.
Gregory Malecha: Seems like a pretty good place for kids to learn to swim.
Colleen O'Connell: Clean, friendly staff, well organized, knowledgeable
Mr. Benjamin Pearce: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Value
Grace J: If you can get through their hectic admins, It’s good. Small ratios and great facilities, but the admin part is not very well organized. Waitlists are poorly managed and communications are less than ideal. If you have questions, you can’t get anyone beyond front desk folks who doesn’t have enough knowledge to help. People (or a person) who are/is responsible is almost impossible to reach to get resolutions. I mean, i know they are expanding with new gymnastics classes and preschools, but I want something more professional point of contacts and fair treatments.Talked with the front desk and they aren’t giving out the owner phone number
Mike Plum: The instruction there is great. Small class sizes make for faster progress due to more individualized attention. Glad we found Little Flippers!
Dom A: My daughter loved learning from the instructors here. Definitely recommend!
Jun Yang: Nice designed place. Well structured.
Lyndsae Brito: We love little flippers and have been going there for 4 years now.
Christina Cook: I am IMPRESSED to say the least. My children have been attending for only two weeks but I will absolutely be staying here and recommending to everyone. Not only is the facility extremely clean, but the level of education and professionalism displayed by all the staff is unparalleled. Mr Jack who instructed my daughter and Mr John (I believe was his name so sorry if I got it wrong) were so beyond patient and understanding to my daughter who didn’t want to fully participate. They showed absolutely no signs of frustration with her and assured me after that continuing with the program would not be a burden to them as they would work with her. You can tell that everyone at this facility truly cares about these kids and their craft. Having worked in customer service for a long time I am very impressed and thankful to see a business operate at such a high standard.
Adilson Bernardo Dos Santos Santos: Very good
Adam Santamaria: awesome place for the kids to learn how to swim and not be afraid of the water. Highly recommended.
The6 Fam: Friendly and helpful instructors for the kids. Also great measures taken to ensure social distancing and sanitised surfaces.
Peroni's Jewelry: My daughter has been coming here for over 3 years, i saw improvements on the first month! Couldn't recommend a better place! The best friendly staff and this place is always perfectly cleaned!
Alex Baranov: Just visited it first time. My 5.5 yo daughter lived it!
Joanna Sessa: Such a wonderful swim school. The staff is so caring, talented and patient. They are following all guidelines. It is very clean. I see them wiping all surfaces, railings etc that anyone may touch. Temperature checks, masks and face shields for instructors in the water. Only 2 kids per class. They are doing a fantastic job. I highly recommend them!
Maurice Costello: It was a bit tough for my 2 year old getting used to everyone with face sheilds but she felt better after a few minutes getting used to it. we got her ready in the car but had time to get through the facility and time to change her. Staff did a good job making everyone comfortable. I go with my girl to class because of her age but I would be comfortable dropping off and picking up as well they are well staffed and have clearly made their best effort to streamline the experience from entry to exit and I feel good about the experience under the circumstances.
Sterling Archer: Great swim classes for infants and kids.Free classes for infants up to 6 months (based on class availability) were amazing for first fundamentals and from there classes are worth the cost by far. The curriculum and method for teaching really seems to do the job.The facility is very nice, clean and plenty of equipment: swim toys, floaties and assisting devices, etc...The viewing area for those not in the pool has plenty of seating that looks through a glass wall that spans the entire length of the pool. There are plenty of changing areas for infants, bench changing areas for toddlers and younger kids and changing rooms with doors for families.Open cubbies and lockers are available for storage.Teachers and staff are friendly and professional, the whole school seems very well managed.
Rina Stark: Great team and teachers, family friendly. Clean changing room / showers. If they could sell coffee, would be even better !
Rockford Weitz: Little Flippers Swim School in Winchester is fantastic! Wonderful team. Modern and clean facility. They only need a coffee bar for sleep-deprived parents ;)

British Swim School of Stoneham at LA Fitness: what do users think?
Erin Cooper: The program is very well run and gives everyone a sense of community. I love how the coaches and environment is building my daughters' confidence.
May Aliu-Otokiti: Chill Safe Space with the Goodest folks
Jennifer Costa: We love British Swim School. Have been enrolled for close to 2 years. Kids have learned the basics of swim survival and are now perfecting their strokes!
Hanna Machatha: Our kids now 4.5 and almost 3 have attended this swim school since they were only a few months old. Highly recommend! The instructors are wonderful. They have become family :) We attend the Bedford branch.
A Pe: Awesome. They were able to teach my daughter how to swim despite her being afraid of being in the water alone. Would 10/10 recommend.
Damn Daniel: I believe this is where people learn to swim the English Channel. But don't worry, if you get in trouble Americans will come to your aid. Like always.
Maki Iwatsuki: This is the only swim school in the area that starts teaching as young as 3 months! Mia advanced to the next level in a few months and is already floating and being submerged! So proud of her!!!. Living 45 minutes away, our plans were to switch her to a closer swim school after 6 months, but this place is so great it is worth the distance and can’t see her skills growing anywhere else. Thank you!
Gloria Lam: I love the instructors and the program for the British Swim School. The have a wonderful program based on survival and learning to float first without floatation devices and calling for help prior to learning anything else. The main reason I signed my son up for this program. The instructors are great and wonderful and so is the franchise as they are extremely willing to work with you to help you with goal achievements. Classes are small in size (max at 4 students) which gives the student more attention and practice and exposure to water without floatation devices.
