Edward A. LeLacheur Park: what do users think?
Spazzklown: It's ok...
Dennis MacPhail: Went to see the city of Lowell's fireworks display which was very nice.My friend had season tickets to the Lowell Spinners for many years. We sat in those seats while watching the fireworks display. It brought back a lot of great memories.
George Procope: It was the best time of my life to watch people having fun for the sake of having fun. The children were running around playing with each other. It wasn't just about family, it was also about unity.
Sarah Mills: Great place to host a community event. Sad the Lowell Spinners are no more. Only the restrooms above 1st base were open. The best was being around so many people with the option of spreading out to a safe distance (well, the area with food trucks was a bit congested, but with a facemask I really enjoyed it.)
Kristin Knowlton: A lovely place to see a ball game or fireworks. We've been coming for years and have always enjoyed the game or show late at night. Parking can sometimes be troublesome to leave depending on the crowd but otherwise it's a great date night spot or fun for families.
Robert Cerasoli: Great ball park
Brian Heney: The field itself is in terrific shape and a great venue - dirt mound and turf field. The scoreboard, bathrooms and facility itself have gone backwards since covid hit and the Spinners have left though.
Fabiana Oliveira: Nice
Scott Phillips: This place is very wholesome and I have very positive experience here.
David Pecoraro: Great place to watch baseball that is now threatened by MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred's horrific plan to eliminate 42 minor league teams. 2020 may be the last chance to see the Spinners.Contact your local Congress member to keep the Spinners & the other 41 teams alive! Not a bad seat in the place. The staff & fans are friendly, even to visiting fans, and even during a big playoff game. The bridge over the nearby canal on the 1B side (hence their mascot the Canalligator) provides scenery. Good video board in left. The pitch speed board helps scout the young pitchers. The only bad part is there is no way to watch in the rain and very little space to catch shade during a noon start (no cover on the concourse).Visit the nearby mill sites to gain an appreciation of the history that lead to the Spinners naming. They even have a free trolley around the area, which contains a National Historical Area. The trolley passes by high school attended by writer Jack Kerouac.Nearby you can visit the Paul Tsongas Arena (named for the late Senator).PS. The Park now tragically lies vacant due to MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred destruction of 42 MiLB teams.
joe martin: Sports
Zach Traverso: Great little baseball park. Tickets are very cheap and there are a lot of great programs for kids.
Martin Ziebell: I fell back in love with baseball here. What a minor league park should be.
Mike Murphy: Went with Kevin and Alyssa and it was amazing
Raul Paulino: Nice place for the sports lovers. Clean and save
Wayne Collette: Close and comfortable...!
Scott Orcutt: Very friendly accommodating staff. Very polite to my children and I. My son got called on the field for a race
Rick Ferron: Great ballpark.. Staff is nice and friendly.. They'll help you with any problems... Some guest's are just rude and take it out on staff.. Which isn't right at all..
C S: We always have so much at the LeLacheur Park! It’s a cozy ballpark and easy to walk around. Our kids usually do their summer baseball camp and feel right at home. Tickets are super affordable (by baseball standard) and they make the games super family friendly! There is a kid zone to entertain the younger one if they get tired of sitting still. It’s one of our favorite summer outings!
A F: It could be bigger
Michael Lafontaine: Cheap then going to boston game and their give out prizes with their bingo games
