Greenfield Forge Blacksmithing Shop: what do users think?
Tina Raczek: I highly recommend taking one of his classes. It is a great experience to step back in time and forge metals into something unique.
Seth Savage: I've been taking classes here for about a year. Great shop!
Peter James Miller: I've known Vinny for my whole life, but it was not until this past summer that I started taking Blacksmithing lessons. Vinny, Sal, and Steve take a no nonsense approach to blacksmithing classes, driven by the student's desires and interests. Since this past summer, I have taken on several self-driven projects including fire pokers, dutch oven lid lifters, knives and now making my own tongs. Vinny and Sal have also helped me learn what to look for in salvaged materials for knife making as well as process some larger pieces of steel that I was able to get. I would highly recommend them to anyone interested in learning blacksmithing, bladesmithing or knife making.
Ed Burke: Vinny with greenfield forge is a phenomenal teacher. I took two consecutive classes and learned more that I thought possible. I am now starting up my own small business, which Vinny has offered to help where he can with! Blacksmithing is a unique community where there's more interest in helping eachother than competition, I encourage everyone interested to take a course or 6 with Vinny.
Laurie Gouley: Bought a gift certificate for my husband for Christmas. He loved it! He had so much fun creating projects. He has continued classes for over a year now.
Chris Ouellette: Vinne is amazing. He take the time to really show the craft and wants to share it with anyone who wants to learn. His craftsmanship is amazing and he does quality work.
Amelia Larson: I gave someone a one-off class at Greenfield Forge as a Christmas gift and couldn’t have been happier with our experience! We had an wonderful time and after 2ish hours we were each able to walk away with a fire poker that we’d made. I was genuinely surprised by how much we learned - not just while making the fire pokers, but about blacksmithing in general. Everyone was so welcoming, friendly, and willing to share their knowledge. If you have any interest in blacksmithing I’d absolutely recommend taking a class!
