Aaron Jacobs: An excellent trip. Took a group of 9 ranging in age from 14 to 50 on the Schooner Fame. It is a visually beautiful vessel and the staff was both friendly and informative. A very pleasant fall sail most striking was when the captain cut the motors and the crew hoisted the sails. There us a beauty and majesty about being propelled silently across the water under the power of the wind. The crew provided an array of snack and beverage choices on board. Excellent opportunity to see seafaring life as it was in the days before loud smelly motors. Firing off the rail mount cannon was a wonderful fun add on to a great day. Remembers seas can occasionally be choppy even in a mostly protected area of Salem Sound and Marblehead so pack a little candied ginger it does wonders to prevent/treat unexpected motion sickness if it occurs.

We went sailing on such a windy day, it was awesome! Every experience has been so much fun, love the sights and the history and the gorgeous coastal views, but what makes it unforgettable is the staff. They are always so upbeat and friendly and fun. On a recent trip we actually ran into an unexpected heavy storm, and the crew leaped into action seamlessly getting us back to port safely. Impressive.

The staff gives interesting info. Answered all questions. The water was smooth and breezy. Literally perfect. Snacks available to purchase for reasonable prices. My teen son helped to raise the sails. Highly recommend. If we come back to Salem, we will definitely be back. Perfect for people of all ages.

Ella and Ethan were super friendly and Cap'n Mike was a great guide. They made it so fun, especially for my son. I even got to steer the boat for a while. It was a real blast and a great time was had by all. Definitely recommended and will likely be back. We even got to see this Osprey nest with mom and her young!
