Camp Nihan Environmental Education Camp: what do users think?
D Pirate Robert: The place is stunning however i give thwm one star and will never be back becous of the no pet policy that is redicoulous its a forest for god sake i saw coiotes and other wild animals what is my dog gonna do so nasty that he cant come in...locking dogs out of such a natural enviroment its staight up wrong!!!! Unbeliveble never seen anything like this
Hilary Roberg: These grounds are gorgeous and really well-kept! The sites were clean and the facilities function like new. When we realized this campground was in the middle of a city we were expecting some sort of generic park that allows camping, but it doesn’t feel like you are in a city. Lots of space and scenery to walk around, and a decent forested area connected to the grounds. On top of all that, the ranger is fantastic. You can tell he genuinely wants you to enjoy your trip, and he is pretty knowledgeable about local wildlife! Highly recommend this place for beginners or anyone wanting a nice simple camping trip. The cabins are also very nice!
Samwise: Was nervous because some of the other reviews I've read were less than stellar. However the ranger who worked with my reservation (Tom) was really great and super nice. It's a great place for someone who wants to start out camping because it's surprisingly super close to shopping center (you can't even tell!) It's a very cozy place I will definitely be back someday!
Michael: Don't bother camping here. There are only a couple sites. There are three cheap cabins, but not too clean. Head staff/ranger are rude. General staff okay. Very limited resources.
sheyda nazarian: We had great time there, the cabin was great it had so many board games. We will definitely go there again

Lone Tree Camp & Cabins Rustic Campground: what do users think?
Keith Halfhill: love this campground came early in the year the owners are very nice
Bree Womack: Friendly owner, more than accommodating, beautiful scenery, close to surrounding towns! 20/10 stars! My husband and I recently drove from CO to ME in the dead of winter to purchase our dream travel trailer & it being the off-season, it was harder than anticipated for us to find campsites on the way home. Luckily, we came across Lone Tree during our search and in the less than two hours it took us to arrive at Lone Tree, the owner had cleared a site with an electric hookup and the road to it. Great stay! We can’t wait to visit again this summer!
Oscar De La Rosa: Went here for the first time in August 2022 and absolutely loved it. It’s a great camping site that has an off grid feel with on-grid amenities. Lots of camp sites with ample space for privacy and parking. The owner is awesome and really helped make it a great visit.
Connor Langkopf: I went here all the time with the Scouts. It is great to see that the property is being preserved as a campground, and Scouts are continuing to be able to use it, while opening up the camp to the public so everyone can experience this gem. I can't wait to come back here to such a beautiful property.
Tara Salvi: Nice place but apparently doesn't have quiet hours, so you can listen to blasting music while you're trying to sleep.
Bjorn Ronaldson: I was here for an event and the site was beautiful, restrooms were clean and well stocked too.
Alita Boomhower: We had an amazing time here. When I booked, there were not many pictures of the inside of the cabin I reserved for 6 of us, so we were thrilled to find a fridge, microwave and coffee maker. We were on the path that lead right to the lake and they provided kayaks, canoes and peddle boats free of charge. The staff are very friendly and responsive. Would definately recommend and will visit again. They even have a fort that sleeps 12! Thank you so much!
Jessica Denney: We had an amazing time. The owner is very nice and helpful. Can't wait to go back next summer.
anne avila: The Lone Tree is an amazing place to camp!!!Besides the natural beauty of being surrounded by the forest and trails there is a huge pond for swimming, fishing and boating.
vango: This place is a hidden gem. We came across it traveling through Kingston. The site is located on over 100 acres with access to Country Pond (more like a lake) and complementary canoe and kayaks plus hiking and biking trails. Our site was nice and leveled, perfect for our roof top tent. The host is super friendly and accommodating. We highly recommend this place and would definitely be back.Wish we could’ve stayed longer. Thanks Eric!
Jennifer Mears: Out of all the campgrounds I've been to, this one definitely has a very pleasant owner, the campsites are very spacious and bathrooms are clean, and it's also very inexpensive to stay at, so the next time you're looking for a campground,, check out lone tree camp and cabins. You won't be disappointed 😌
Joseph Teague: Had an absolute blast here! Each campsite is generously big, the water is super clean (just had a lot of vegetation), the campgrounds are big enough to explore while not disturbing other campers, and Eric was just the best host! If you were looking for a place to camp, THIS IS THE SPOT!! I will definitely be making reservations here again. Thank you!
elise blunt: 8 of us(4 adults in our 40s, 13, two 2 years old, a 1 year old and 2 elderly dogs) spent 2 nights and 3 days in Fort Prebble! We had an amazing time. The bathroom facilities were near by and clean, the pond was perfect for swimming and boating. The Fort allowed the adults to chill out and relax while the boys all ran around and played dinosaurs, chase and whatever else there little minds could think of. We brought along airplanes to fly from the second story and a few other little things for the kids, but we didn't really need it as their imaginations were able to run wild. All 4 kids slept like a rock after being outside and active all dayand night. Despite having a thunderstorm and some rain we all had plenty of space to stay dry and relax.. I can't imagine a better place to spend a few days with friends or family. I highly recommend this place to other families and or anyone looking for a different type of getaway!!!!
Niki Ruttan: Campsite is clean and staff were very helpful. Great place for larping!
John Berrini: I love being at Lone Tree. The camp is well maintained. Now in my 40s its a pleasure to come back and enjoy a place I would play as a boy scout years ago.
Brandon Postula: Wonderful grounds. Lot's of space, trails, and open fields. However, the facilities need to be maintained better. These include, but are not limited, the kitchen, restrooms, and cabins. There needs to be signs for tick checks, bears, and emergency procedures posted in clearly visible locations. The trails need to be cleared more often and the grass in the fields need to be cut before use of the grounds, both to reduce chances of ticks and other potentially dangerous insects from congregating where people walk.
Chad Williams: Childhood scout campground
George Dionne Jr.: One of my most favorite places to be
Julie Labonte: Great scouting camp. Boys all had a great time!
Jennifer Hart: Good place to take Troops or Packs needs more summer time Scout activities
J Longshore: Best camp ever
