Warm and knowledgeable staff offer a decadent selection of cheeses, meats, sweets, beer, wine, and accoutrement. The cheese platters (that fit all tastes and budgets) have saved our bacon on more than one occasion; be it a last minute party or a self care event of bacchanalian sloth. You'll love Mill City Cheese Mongers and they will love you back.

William Crispin: There are only 3 cheese shops on the North Shore and Metro North, that I am aware of, so that makes them valuable just to start. They do a great job. They are knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. Not a huge selection but very solid, well thought out choices.

The selection was broad with French Style butters and cheeses from around the world. However the thing I liked most was the knowledge of where their cheese comes from.Plus they specialize in finding the best cheeses from the Northeast and across the United States. I have lived in Switzerland and Germany and have a love for quality products.I was taken away by the cleanliness and origination of the space. It’s nice to see a local shop in an eclectic atmosphere doing what they love.

The staff has been able to answer any question or provide advice on multiple different cooks. I cooked a Denver Wagyu steak last night that was easily the best steak I’ve had in my 36 year career. Carlos Lopez: Was looking for a meat market because been noticing a-lot of the ground meat amd chicken from Market Basket (though i do enjoy shopping there and Hannaford) and other stores tend not to be fresh or have false advertisement of human animal treatment. (example Perdue 🤢)So happen to see this on the listing with good reviews figured give it a chance. Bought chicken salami/sausage (my culture would say carne relleno o salami) and other meat and they actually told me when the meat was cut like that felt really good and mom used the chicken salami/sausage and it was really juicy and yummy. Was not bad at all. My father has gout so purine is always a risk and didnt have a reaction with their chicken sausage packages. Also enjoy their slice meat and cut up chicken. Love that they partner with Shaws (can see products of Boar house in Shaws dairy as well). Had not used their app yet.I had some of the side products like the ice cream and chocolate and ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️, next time getting the spaghetti and other meats out of curiosity. If we cook it and is as good quality, might end up always getting meat from here.
April Bray: My husband was following Alpine on Instagram. We are from Michigan and decided to try out the A-5 Wagyu and the value package of the filets and NY strips. I was skeptical at first but I’m SO happy we gave them a try. I doubt we will ever buy steaks from anywhere else again. Alpine’s steaks are of the highest quality and when cooked right will melt in your mouth. If you’re thinking of ordering you won’t be disappointed!!

siddanth rai: They have a wide variety of products available in the store. This could be the dairy products, meat section, dairy section, fruits, vegetables, flower, soda, chips and many more. They definitely do sell products at a very competitive price. This also includes the meat. They have sufficient billing counters, but it could get busy over the weekend. You could expect an approximate wait time of 5min. Parking should not be an issue, they have ample space.

Mikey D: This is a very respectable, albeit smaller, Market Basket. Compared to the Market Basket across the river, the selection of products is slightly limited. But still, a clean grocery store with most everything you could need, at a good value. Includes helpful staff and convenient parking.
Gouveia: People who work upfront are rude or walk away in the middle of bagging. also, they keep playing with each other like a kids and they don’t care about the job that they do, Almost never see a manager around. Worse market basket I've ever been in.

Don't go here for fried chicken.. or a normal assortment of other frozen foods.. also don't plan to store any meat from here for more than a day.

John Pyers: This is a typical Market Basket.Lots of untrained staff. Baggers are amazing, not in a good way: they don't understand concept of insulated bag for frozen, refrigerator, and produce; they put heavy items on eggs and produce; they put raw meat with produce. Completely untrained and zero supervision.Great deli team! Dry stock (pantry) is good, dairy is good. Meats are good. Produce is ok, although occasionally, some things are rotting in their bins. Check expiration dates, they're not always rotating. *produce was really looking good today 3262023 ! Maybe they have a new produce manager. One extra star for that improvement!Often there are too many employees in the aisle during busy customer hours.

Deborah Hall: This is a rather recent and large Market Basket. It has modern conveniences that older buildings often lack, such as a coffee shop on the premises. At the smaller, older Market Baskets, I found a variety of products that I had never seen before. While I'll still be a faithful customer to the smaller MB nearby, I'll make sure to check out this "mega" Market Basket before looking elsewhere for a unique item.
