They refunded the cost, but there was literally nothing provided for the inconvenience, and the next 4. months of classes were booked out so rescheduling wasn't even an option

B: Seductive. That's how I describe this kitchen. The macaroon ice cream sandwiches are literally-to-die-for! I bought all the flavors bcuz I have no control when it comes this place. Sarah Wescott: I recently tried one of their new macaron ice cream sandwiches, and it was out of this world! I went for the coffee flavor, the ice cream tasted as if I had just poured a fresh cup of my favorite coffee, and the macaron had this ever so slight crunch on the outside with a chewy inside. 10 out of 10 would eat again, or get for a birthday party or event.

I love seeking out new chocolatiers, and going to Free Chocolate Friday was such a fun way to indulge, sample unexpected flavor combinations, and support a new small business. I've visited a lot of chocolatiers and none of them have ever been this giving. To be told "try whatever you want, don't be shy!" by the owner felt a little too good to be true at first, but he really meant it. The owner and staff seemed so happy and proud of their work, and were also very informative.I tried several chili caramels while there and purchased some to bring home, including a carolina reaper caramel. They were all delicious and still had wonderful flavor even with all of the heat. My favorite was the fennel olive oil, which I never would have expected since I don't like fennel!Their motto is "chocolates for the culinarily curious," and they really deliver on that! I just wish I could make it there every Friday!

Leah Greenberg: The most sophisticated chocolates I have ever had. Let's start with the chocolate which is like no other you have ever tasted (or as I learned, the cacao bean and how it is processed). The chocolate is dark, a little bitter, a little sweet, it coats your mouth in the most luscious way. The small batch caramels are sinful, so creamy and light and sweet and just perfect with the slight bitterness from the chocolate (the green and red hatch with the slight heat and tingle, are addictive). My favorite is the Les Sensations with popping crystals (think rice krispies made of honey sugar), The Honey Bees (actual honey inside, Gd made wildflowers, just so bees would make honey for these chocolates) and The Opera - truly art with how the layers are so perfect, and the combinations marry together so beautifully. Each one delights all 5 senses. When you want to treat yourself extra special, these are the chocolate creations for you!

Nicolas Depauw: (Almost) the best chocolates in Boston, maybe in the US...I'm originally from Europe and American chocolate is not quite the same honestly... but at Beacon Hill chocolates they improt truffles from all over the world I believe, or at least a lot from Europe, and that's always been my go-to place.I've tried many shops across the US and thus far its always been my favorite.I said "almost" at the beginning just because there is one local chocolate shop that I may like better, but chocolates in the US are already very pricey and that place is twice more per truffle than Beacon Hill, which is just nuts. 😅Beacon Hill also offers truffle classes (never been myself) and they have those awesome handmade boxes that can be bought (for a premium) which makes it a really really neat gift for any occasion!Highly highly recommended!

This store also has varieties of chocolate bars from across the world. I also bought a Mexican hot chocolate bar made by Seattle chocolate company. It definitely had a kick of cayenne pepper.The store also sell gelato and ice in limited flavors. Not a large selection of ice cream flavors but I have to try it next time. They do serve their famous hot chocolate that I wish to try in winter. Staff was polite and assured me the chocolates shipped will be kept cold during shipping to avoid melting in this sweltering summer. If you like to gift chocolates, they have many gift options that fits many occasion and is personalizable. I definitely recommend this place. So many flavors to try, you will definitely love some.

Katherine Anthony: Pretty steeply priced chocolates, but there are a lot of them! I wish the prices for all of the store items were more visible. Same for the truffles, it would have been helpful to know which ones are cheaper and which ones are more expensive. I got a hot chocolate and was pretty hesitant when I saw that they use powdered hot chocolate, but was actually very impressed! It was strong but not overpowering and served at the perfect temperature. Very cute store to go in around fall-winter time.
Neretva a: Tourist trap - better off drinking puddle water than whatever they're trying to pass off as hot chocolate. Swiss Miss is a gourmet option compared to what they're serving. The chocolates are hit and miss ... well mostly miss. It was $40 worth of disappointment. Do yourself a favor and just go to Burdick's.

These were the best chocolates I've ever had, and we've bought chocolates from all over the U.S. from California to Massachusetts. I highly recommend this shop. Their customer service to top notch and their chocolates are fantastic. I'll certainly be ordering from them via their internet site for years to come.

One did not arrive.I called today and spoke to Jennifer.She searched and it had not been sent out. There was an internal error.I explained it was for my four year old grandson and he did not receive his Easter basket.She offered to send one out, but I honestly felt that the customer service lacked empathy and understanding.She stated she would send an apology, but my grandson is four.Maybe an extra chocolate bunny or surprise would have been nice! Something to make him feel special!Instead, when I expressed my disappointment I was asked, “Is there anything else?”I was surprised with the customer service and the lack of Harbor Sweets to try and come up with a creative idea themselves to correct the error.I didn’t feel valued as a customer or that my four year old grandson’s lack of receiving an Easter basket mattered.A small gesture on Jennifer’s part could have made the difference.I shop locally to support local business.

You walk in and the smell is so incredible and overpowering, immediately I knew the chocolate was going to be amazing. It did not disappoint!!! The combinations are special and feel unique to the area. There was a very sweet woman working at the check out who gave us free samples. The whole experience was lovely and the chocolate and gifts I bought were 100% worth the price. Highly recommend a visit!

Liyi F: I tried one of their Gather chocolates (coconut) and it had a wonderful taste of coconut, yummy but not overpowering. Individual pieces are sold out of a display case for $1.95 each, which is a fantastic way to try all kinds of their chocolates. I've also never been a caramel/toffee person but their sloops are fantastic. They remind me of Almond Roca if Almond Roca was actually good. The ladies working the store when I went offered us samples (delicious) and were very helpful.
