Perry Chaffee: Their website says "free pickup and delivery" in two spots. There is even a link to a form to fill out for that service.I went to drop off my clothes and asked about the delivery service. I was told "that is only for businesses." The website doesn't indicate this anywhere. This makes it feel like a bait & switch tactic, is misleading, and not good for the business reputation.They are open from 7-7, but it's very difficult for me to pick things up during that time. I would be willing to pay to get my stuff dropped off at my house (within 1 mile of their location). I'm sure I'm not alone in that. This is a lost business opportunity on their part.I'm definitely a fan of supporting local businesses, but consumers need value and if local businesses can't find innovative (and truthful) ways to provide it then it will hurt them in the long run.

Keith came out to the house to do the job; he was clear, communicative, and extremely knowledgeable. Called to communicate his ETA, and arrived promptly. We have really messed up tile floors from a botched install - unevenly laid and deeply saturated with grime - but Keith still managed to get them looking sparkling clean. Better than they looked when initially installed, actually. He obviously put extra love and energy in, and really knows what he’s doing. He knew exactly what was wrong with the floors before I explained, and was clear about what could been addressed with a deep clean and what couldn’t (ie: grout smears), and delivered beyond expectations. We’ve had the floors cleaned professionally before, but they didn’t look as amazing as they did after Keith was done. Five stars!

Mistake after mistake is starting to add up: Losing shirts; ripping buttons off shirts and damaging the fabric; pulling off another button and replacing it using white thread on a black shirt; returning summer storage items without dry cleaning them and claiming they were cleaned; constantly pressing pants seams badly, etc. etc. It feels like Anton’s management doesn’t care anymore and aren’t training their staff in the basics. I’m searching for another dry cleaner.

Isaiah Rogers: Typically come here for all my dry cleaning needs as far as hemming, cleaning, and adjustments but recently showed up with a typical easy repair I thought just replacing 2 zippers about 6 inches on a expensive jacket ive had for a while that they have cleaned before. But when asking for the zipper repair they flat out said "no, it's to much work and too complicated" mind you ive had zippers repaired here before. I was shocked and the "alterration&repair" sign on there building needs to be taken down or adjusted to just alterations if they are lacking in Services they faulsly offer. Very disappointed in their unwillingness to provide me servise or work with me, and what I paid for the jacket I definitely would of pair a fair price for repairs. Sad to see them changing for the worst after all these years.

I am very pleased with how thorough they are. I am always pleased with how clean the house is when I get home from work, but being there while they are and seeing how they actually do the work was a new experience for me. I have a new puppy, so the house has been a lot messier for the last two months, with more stuff on the floor, more dog-toy clutter, etc., but it hasn't fazed the ladies. They are super and I appreciate their hard work very, very much. Highly recommend.(2020) Full disclosure, the company is running a promotion where you get a one time discount if you write a Google review, which spurred me to write this. Having said that, I would have given them a five star review with or without the promotion. I have used several different services and for many years had an individual clean for me, and Margaret McHenry Maids is the best I have ever used. They are thorough, they deal well with clutter, they are fast, they don't have a problem when I have called with a few suggestions and requests, and I couldn't be happier. I did have to ask them to remember to keep the commode lids closed as I have dogs who will drink out of the toilet on occasion. Since i asked, they have been careful. I know it isn't easy to clean a house with as much dog traffic and dog hair as I have, but every time I come home on a day they have cleaned I feel a profound sense of peace and calm from a clean house and careful attention to detail. Melissa Daniels: I would not recommend this company. I am moving into a new home. I was told every shelf and counter top would be wiped down. Base boards would be wiped down. Along with cleaning the bathrooms and floors. None of the maids would admit to speak English when asked. We had to call the office two times to have them communicate to the maids. The second time the office staff had an attitude when I communicated there were black marks on the floor the maids need to clean. I had to tell the maids to wipe down the bedroom closets, bathroom closet, and the counter top to by bar. I tried to explain they were not clean and you can feel residue on them. I over paid for this service. I shouldn’t have to walk through my house and point out things that were missed that I was told that would be done. There shouldn’t be a communication barrier that prevents us from communicating with the maids. Also, office staff needs to work on their attitude when called about a problem. I would not recommend this company!
