Mark Larocque: bought there twice...first time spent $5000 on silver coins, one of which was a roll of 20 Morgan Dollars I asked for, when I got home found 11 Morgans and 9 Peace Dollars...emailed shop never got a response. Went back a few days ago to sell some proof set of presidential dollars and quarters, he gave me $70....I then used that as store credit for a 20 coin roll of Morgan Dollars, the pricing for these circulated coins is typically around $30-$35 each as they are only 90% silver. He charged me $750, ($680 plus the $70 credit) - $37.50 each...I feel I got over charged and the $70 credit was not a credit at all....no written receipts either time...due to location so far south, it will be the last time I go there......plenty of other places with better pricing and more fair business practices.

esoteric 369: My husband bought a metal detector there quite a few years ago, so when a friend of mine recommended Village Coin Shop to buy and invest in Silver, I had two buying experiences first hand and from a friend. I have since purchased silver from him twice now, and besides being very pleasant I got educated on what to look for and not look for, from a dealer's perspective in buying and selling. Now, that is what I would call old fashioned professionalism and personal etiquette!! Class act! I would highly recommend visiting Don for all your coin and metal needs.

Adam Breier: Better customer service than I could have expected. I am a regular (though only once or twice a year) customer. Shipment was lost by USPS (or stolen from my front door. They completely replaced the items that were not delivered without question - didn't even ask me to pay for shipping for replacement order. I cannot recommend them enough!

I tried asking if interested in 2 dd 2004 peace nickles on great condition. Worth--- min 50 bucks and up to 300 in ms65. These would pass beyond that. Well Ebay here I come
