john ramthun: Precision Air Refrigeration saved me thousands. I own the SUBWAY in Westford and Dave has always maintained my refrigeration equipment. He offered to look at my AC as I was quoted by an HVAC company for a repair $6-8K to replace a compressor. Dave immediately found that a wire shorted out and caused a hole in one of the copper refrigerant lines. The gas had escaped through the hole and the compressor wasn't working because it was in a safe mode to protect itself from burning out. He repaired the faulty wires and copper tubing. He filled the gas up and it works.

Dave will always do whatever it takes to get you up and running at a price that will keep you above water.If you ask for their honest opinion, they will give you their honest opinion. They don't look at the dollar signs or how hard the work is, they just do what is right for the customer. It's always a pain when a unit breaks, but at least getting the right service isn't a part of that pain. They are the only company that I have had that is always out the same day for repairs that are emergencies. It doesn't matter what time it is, if you have something that just broke down and you have food in it, they WILL be there relatively quickly. This will be the last company you call, I guarantee that.

Frank L: I own a restaurant in downtown Lowell. I got tired of my old refrigeration guy, so I decided to try a new company, and figured Precision Air might be a good fit. The response time was great. Technicians seemed to really know what they were doing, and legitimately cared about my situation. The respect from the technicians and the secretary on the phone was very professional. My walk-in went down, and they came, and had to add gas. A few months later, it happened again. They came right down, charged it up, and we were going to schedule a leak test in a few weeks. Apparently the leak got bigger, and it went down that weekend. I called Precision Air, and they sent someone right out and he went through the whole system and repaired 4 leaks. He found a leak on the evaporator and told me he would attempt to fix it, but most of the time it doesn't work out, and you need to replace it. Well, I guess he did a pretty good job because it's been about 6 months. I can't tell you enough about how great it is to have a family company who doesn't treat you like a "number". They legitimately care about your needs and will do anything they can to help you out. It's not often that you see the Boss man himself coming to your restaurant to make sure something gets repaired correctly, but that's how Dave is. I highly recommend this company.

Sean D: Paul Adams who runs reliable air is top notch.After inquiring with six local companies to give estimates for Air Conditioning in a 10,000 sq. ft historic home, Paul was the only one who scoped the job correctly and understood our request to use the original duct work and octopus furnace. The others wanted to cut through walls and use split air systems which would ruin the historic prestige of the property. Their estimates ranged from $17k - 60k, Paul did the work for a fraction of the cost and even allowed me to purchase the equipment needed.He showed up at the scheduled date and time and expertly installed the AC equipment. He cleaned everything and tested the unit throughout the whole house with me. The system runs flawlessly and their were no hidden costs in the final bill.We recently used Paul again to install a replacement water heater. Again he called right back set up a date, was there on time and did an excellent job. Again his rate was very fair and he cleaned up everything at the job site.He is very honest and straightforward and I would highly recommend him to anybody looking for these types of services.-- John Doherty

Our walkin freezer was on the fritz and I could not figure out how to lower the temp to avoid losing all our meat for next weeks food pantry. I called Ross Company and had never used them before. I could not authorize payment and asked Robert if he could please help me over the phone. Once he realized we were a food pantry he gave me a suggestion and it worked. SERVPRO of Beverly/Cape Ann: In the fall of 2018, Servpro of Beverly/Cape Ann was called in to one of the north shores leading inpatient rehab centers to investigate the source of a water build up on a storage room floor. After conducting a thorough investigation, Servpro determined that the source of the water was coming from a broken waste pipe located in one of the framed walls that surrounded a commercial walk-in refrigerator/freezer. It wasn't clear how long this hidden break had been leaking into the wall cavity, but at the time of the initial inspection there was approx. 3"-4" of waste water encompassing the walk-in which had begun eroding the steel framing of the partition walls.The immediate challenge presented was a lack of space to address the issue. With only approximately eight inches of separation between the walk-in unit and the walls of the surrounding kitchen, it was clear that in order for the leak to be stopped and repairs made, the walk-in refrigerator would need to be removed. With a kitchen that serves over 500 meals a day to resident patients, we had to find a way to make this happen while limiting our impact on daily operations. After speaking with several refrigeration companies about the scope of work and challenges we were facing, we ultimately selected Ross Company Inc. as our project partner. Robert Ross' professional, informative and confident approach put us at ease and made us feel that our challenges could be overcome. Throughout the project, Robert Ross and his staff proved to be professional, friendly and great communicators. Even during down times between various phases of the project, Robert remained in close contact.
