Bailey James: Today 1/5/2021. I called DPW Lowell I was told to by the trash guy who destroyed my recycling bin. Very nice lady answered and put my call to the right dept. Got to talk to CHRIS for about 5 seconds and he hung up on me explaining why I called. Called back same nice lady answered sent me back to CHRIS he answered and put me on voice mail. All the money were charged in taxes in Lowell and have to deal with a lazy city worker because he doesn’t want to do his job and no one is going to do anything about it

Linda Hanwell: Good day!I wanted to really thank your department!!!!!!I emailed you for my company UTEC on Warren Street. There had been a grate just past 15 Warren Street that had one end sticking up at least an inch or so and you replaced it in about a week! Also, we had quite a big crack in the sidewalk between two of our buildings 35 and 17 Warren that was endangering our clients and staff. This was also fixed quickly!!Your amazing response is so appreciated and it is wonderful to know that your department is so responsive!A huge thank you from UTEC!!!!!Best, Linda Hanwell.
Cindy Madsen: Just want to comment on the snow removal this year, it's been amazing as compared to years past. This year, they are plowing sidewalk to sidewalk(except when cars are parked illegally on the streets) they used to plow the middle of the road ONLY....I wonder how many heart attacks were prevented by plowed plowing properly...great job to our plowers.
Hemil Patel: My car keys fell in the sewer and Jeff came to rescue. I can not believe how soon he showed up at the place and helped take out my keys from the sewer. He was honest, helpful and kind. I can't thank you enough for what you have done for me. God bless your soul.
Lorraine Farmer: Bought a fixer upper home last year. Spent a lot of time, effort, money and help to bring it to a respectable home, however the sidewalk was in very poor condition.I asked to be put on the list for sidewalk repairs via their Web site.I got a written response via my email letting me know they received my request and the came within months to repave my side walk in a friendly, fast and through job!It looks great and is safe!Thank you Guys,Lorraine Farmer

Dan Gawrych: Why can't we give 0 stars here? The absolute worst wire inspectional services I've ever dealt with in the state of Massachusetts. Whats the point of having a phone if no one ever picks up or return calls. Have customers waiting 3 months after completion just to get an inspection done. This is unfair to the people of Lowell. Unfortunately crossing Lowell off my serviceable cities if its this hard to get anyone to schedule a wiring inspection.
Rich Crosby: Stopped in to drop off a electrical permit and onsite directory seemed very difficult to figure out where to go. Thank you to the person who helped me find the office without being asked. Staff was very helpful in the permit office. Now, the building itself is worth stopping in to check out the architecture and woodwork. Lots of history in the building. I would like to come back just to walk around inside. Cool place.
