Lowell Restaurant: what do users think?
jaylun evans: Was nice at first until I found a fly in my food and when we called the waiter over they asked if we wanted it to be switched out like that shouldn’t have been a question and for the bad food on their part it wasn’t even taken off the bill and still wanted a tip I will not return don’t waste your money

Armani SOR: We are there at least once a week. Our go to place for good Cambodian food. Their hot pot or Yan hon is deliciousParking: More parking in the back then the front
Jame Nolza: Great place for khmer cuisine
Masa Kol: New owner the chief is from thr old Semenorom Restaurant.Parking: Parking in front of the building as well as in the rear.
Sam Muth: Good food and good service
Judy T: I love the mekathung and beef skewers here. The flavor is so authentic! Great service and quiet atmosphere. I will be coming back!
Dominik Lay: Parking: Plenty of free parking.
Valerie Viengngeune: Not sure why but the vibe here is so clam as if you were to go to Cambodian this would be the type of atmosphere you would feel and be in. We came for both dry yellow noodles and yellow duck noodles. The duck noodle my partner orders often and loves it here. I actually do not have a favorite dish but I would say veggies with three layer pork on white rice. The servers are pleasant and it gets pretty busy during mid afternoon.
PAUL RATHA YEM: This is a great place for authentic Cambodian food especially noodle soup Kuyteav Phnom Penh
Nancy Thach: Foods are good but a little over priced
Michelle Noun: The best restaurant to get roasted duck and meekathung you can ask for.
andrew AtsV: First time at Lowell restaurant. Had the seafood Pho, with a side of Chinese donuts. Probably the best seafood Pho I've had in Lowell. Broth was nice and hearty. Service was great as well. Will definitely be back.
Matthew Girard: Went here for dinner and ordered the Chicken and Mixed Vegetables with Rice. Food and service were great
Kk L: Tried to charge me 2x the regular price for ordering food near their closing time. They could have simply chosen not to take my order, but no these are dishonest people who do not charge by their own menu and will take advantage of any situation to upcharge however they feel. Their food is not even special. I walked straight out the door to another restaurant down the street. There are tons of Cambodian restaurants in Lowell that don’t engage in dishonest practices like this restaurant does. Never coming back again.
Karen O'Shaughnessy: Amazing and authentic Khmer cuisine. I had dinner here with my daughter in law’s family and friends who are Cambodian Americans. I enjoyed the lemongrass chicken, salads, and of course the crispy roasted duck (their signature dish). The fried tofu was so delicious that I just kept eating it. I didn’t try the chicken feet salad but everyone else said it was delicious. There were other tasty items that I couldn’t name, but everyone loved it all. The waitstaff was attentive and friendly, even though we were there a couple of hours. None of us live near here, but for us it’s not a very long drive if we want to see sights around Boston.
UtKy123: 3 stars for the tasty food but it’s quite overpriced. On average, most main entrees are at least 15-17 dollars. I ordered a vegetable dish with no meat and wax almost 18. And 6 dollars for a bowl of white rice. But the taste was good so made it a little worth it.
Ben R: All authentic and delicious Khmer cuisine. The staff was professional and friendly. Highly recommended.

Andrés Ballesteros: Wow, amazing food and experience! While we’re familiar with Vietnamese and Thai food, we hadn’t had Cambodian before. Xavier was an amazing guide and the food was excellent across the board. The papaya salad, the crispy egg rolls, the angkor wings, the bai cha kroeung… Everything was delicious. Again, can’t say enough about the service and how knowledgeable Xavier was about the food and its history. Will be returning!
Michael Luu: Wish they served peanut sauce with the summer roll. The kuy-tiev soup was great. The ankor wings were tasty. The mee ka-tahng wasn't that special, I'd say skip that.Food: 5/5|Service: 4/5|Atmosphere: 4/5Recommended dishes Mee Ka-Tahng Special, Angkor Wings, Fresh Spring Rolls, Shaking Beef Parking space Somewhat difficult to find parking …More

Renée Renata Bergan: Delicious food! Similar yet different than Thai (which we love) so, was nice to have a different take. Portions are big, and flavorful, but really it was the staff who immediately made us feel at home which will be what remember. We hit it off with Xavier the owners son, from the get go, chatting it up throughout the night. He made great food suggestions and when the noodles for my dish had run out, made sure I got a nice alternative. And then later, when things slowed down, shared with us his favorite spots from his recent trip to Cambodia. A really lovely family owned and run restaurant. I'm not in Lowell much but when I am, I'll be going back. Worth it! Give them your business!

Sharmin Sultana (Anu): We had a fantastic dining experience at Simply Khemer for lunch today. The vegetable spring rolls and crispy quail wings made for delicious starters, and the lemongrass chicken and loc lac were excellent entrees. The food was flavorful and cooked to perfection. Additionally, the staff and environment were very friendly and welcoming, which added to the overall enjoyable atmosphere. I would love to recommend Simply Khemer to anyone looking for authentic Cambodian cuisine 😍❤️

Megan Jordan: They were fantastic. My sister has a seafood allergy & the chef came out to go over what he could alter for her to ensure she would like it & feel safe eating it. They were kind, patient & took their time to go over everything. All the food came out fantastic! Service was the best I've encountered in years, I think the last time I had service this good was at a Michelin place in Paris.
gwendolyn jones: If I lived closer I'd go all the time. So good.

Karri Egoroff: We arrived to town from the west coast for a somber event but our spirits were lifted immediately upon arrival by Danielle and the rest of the staff. They even kept the kitchen open for us so we could get a late dinner. The food was amazing - so delicious and flavorful! If we lived close by we would be here every week! Highly recommend coming here for dinner.

E L: I rarely leave negative reviews, but in this case I have to. We went there on a Saturday evening. After we entered the restaurant, I felt like we were invisible - no one greeted us. Then, when we finally were noticed, we were told to wait 2 minutes. After another few minutes we were told to wait 5 minutes. Total wait was about 20 minutes, and after we were finally seated it was more time after we were able to place an order. My impression this restaurant is very disorganized. We ordered our food, it was OK, but way overpriced for the experience we had.I did not feel welcome, and the stuff looked uninterested. I will definitely not go back.
Audra Lyn Barrie: Outstanding all around !! Best food and service I’ve ever had! Absolutely will be back and truly appreciated the warmth and good nature. Highly recommend!Vegetarian options: Perfectly delicious!

matt mogren: I’m sorry, but I never leave reviews so after reading this one and being there I just have to comment. I love people watching and while the food and service was amazing this response is more aimed at a couple that was in the restaurant as well. The two waitresses Danielle and Stephanie are amazing and had the pleasure of Stephanie to be ours. Amazing server, great attitude lovely lady. The couple eating in the other room I noticed were being helped just like we were, but my god I have rly good hearing and the waitresses didn’t ignore you Jesus. You don’t need to leave a 1 star review cause you don’t like how a specific dish tastes. I looked up reviews on that specific dish over the years and every one is 5 stars. Sorry when I saw that review left after leaving the tab open on my laptop multiple days I had to say something. This place rocks. Seriously screw rocker fellas or turners and the ledger. Blue fez is the best restaurant I’ve ate at in downtown Salem. Also this place isn’t even open for lunch, which also tells me this one star review has to be some bu****t.Vegetarian options: They have amazing vegetarian options. Better than any other restaurant besides the egg parm from Adriatic now that’s amazing.
Asma Sheikh: Worse Moroccan restaurant ever! I lived in Morocco for one month and I know the taste of authentic Moroccan cuisines. My partner and I ordered chicken tagine (one of most popular Moroccan entrees). The chickens tasted like soap and undercooked. We asked waitress to take them back and cook chicken longer. She refused and ignored us for an entire hour. So we decided to ask other waitress to get our money back, but all waitresses completely ignored us. What a horrible service! All waitresses and chefs need to be trained again and the menu has to be revised and improve the recipes to respect the Moroccan value of their cuisines.
Katharine Westgerdes: Absolutely delicious food. I had a blast chatting with the bartender, Danielle, and got to meet the owner. It was a wonderful experience and I will have to come back. Fresh crab cakes in a light breading and the curry chicken melts in your mouth. Definitely glad i stopped in on my trip to salem.
Jacqui Strzesak: A convival host can be found in the bartender Danielle. The drink menu is creative and each one made with care. A rarity in Salem, a place where you can hear your friends talk.Food: 5/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 5/5 …More
Shawn Gliklich: Mosaic plate appetiser was an excellent sampler of seven different apps served with fresh warm pita. I had the lamb tagine with cous cous that I thought was awesome! My wife had the chicken cous cous royal also loved hers. The food is fresh, authentic and flavorful. I am so happy to have found this place. We will be back. I highly recommend checking it out!

Nancy Kidder: Amazing restaurant with excellent Moroccan flavors! Cheyenne was our bartender and provided excellent service and drinks! We highly recommend!
Lorrey Smolinsky: Just had one of the best meals and had to share. I went to Blue Fez in Salem right after it opened and it was really good. Haven’t been there for a few years so decided to check it out again. My husband and I went to check it out tonight and have to say it was so good. Our server Danielle was awesome. She’s very knowledgeable and super friendly and was one of those people that makes you feel like family. She had a couple of specials, and then she mentioned a chefs tasting menu, it was $50 per person. We spent some time thinking about it and looking at the menu and decided to do the tasting menu. Definitely not disappointed! We started with lentil soup. Then a shared appetizer plate that had bread, beets, carrots, hummus, eggplant, roaster peppers, artichokes and grape leaves. Then we had falafel with hummus and harissa, couscous with vegetables, beef with figs, and some other fruits and veggies, chicken with rice and lentils. We also had a dessert that was like a bakalava with a nut mixture with honey whipped in phyllo dough with honey on a plate with chocolate drizzle and whipped cream. I cannot wait to get over being so full to go back again.I will say that a few of the things that were served are things that I don’t normally eat but they were amazing!! Cannot say how good this was!Forgot to take a pic of dessert!Vegetarian options: Several vegetarian options
Paul Juser: We sat outside and had some of the best falafel I've had in a very long time.
Laura Weinmann: Delicious! I was looking for great Moroccan food and so happy to have found it here. The eggplant meatballs were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The lentil rfissa was spicy and the msemen picked up all of the delicious sauce. I will definitely be back there.Recommended dishes Mint Tea …More

Sergio Solis Checa: It started really well with great small plates that we took as starters, which set high expectations for large plates. However, main were nowhere close to the level of the starters, we had salmon and couscous. The place itself is quite simple but cozy, so no complaints, but nothing special as well. The service is super friendly, but a little slow, and I didn't like that they automatically add 18% gratuity, and then list extra space for tip on top of the gratuity
Trent: The food (chicken tagine, lamb tagine) was under seasoned and underwhelming.
Arindam Samanta: We enjoy a number of dishes here, including the lamb, salmon tajines, as well as the fresh sherbets.Recommended dishes Lamb Tajine, Chicken Tajine, Tagine of Lamb Shank …More
Tim Carter: Best meal I've had in ages! The calamari starter was a def. highlight - very light coating and perfectly cooked with a slightly spicy sauce - Double Yum!!
Othin Ram: food is just okay.would've given negative review given the chance. They didn't serve the drinks we ordered but added in the bill. over charged for the item. in total I had to ask them thrice to change the bill. with the terrible service I had no intention to add good tip but they added 18% already.we're the first group to be in that restaurant and for 30 mins no one was there. their response was really rude and I had a terrible experience when I came here along with my parents.when I asked them about terrible service they told they're busy. Omar (manager) response was we've only ordered 2 entrees. We're group of 4 and we've ordered 2 small plates and 3 entrees and made $175 bill. The way they've responded was so mean and rude. I regret going to this place.
Aishwarya Bobbili: They need to hire staff. These people have worst service and try to make u order more dishes just to include in the bill. We ordered some drinks and they did not even serve us and charged in the bill. They know people don’t tip them for their service and they charge it by themselves for 18% in the total bill which is compulsory for us to pay.Totally worst experience here. Wouldn’t recommend it.

Jocelyn's Mediterranean Restaurant & Martini Lounge: what do users think?
Dennis Lang: Nice change from all the similar American restaurants
Aparna Sivakumar: Food was extremely flavorless! Do not recommend for Mediterranean food. We literally got a meat panini when we ordered a kibbeh. The shawarma was beef bits, not shawarma. Not authentic. The dolma / grape leaves were flavorless. The pita was grocery store pita and served with butter (seriously, who serves pita with BUTTER??). The prices do not match the quality of the food. Will not be returning.

Adonis ElFakih: Wanted to try this Mediterranean restaurant and few things caught our attention. The food was generally ok but they missed few things. For instance the veggies present in the grill were boiled/cooked vs being grilled with the meat. That changed the taste . The grilled dish is usually wrapped in bread to absorb the juices but the bread was also accent on the grilled dish. The tabouli was 90% to hit the right taste, our was missing olive oil and a little dry. The veggies were cut perfectly and presented in an inviting fashion, just needed to focused on the taste a bit more. The maqaneq were delicious and with the right spiciness so that is a dish that is with trying again. Service was a bit slow and we had to ask for garlic sauce for the grill since it was not offered with it. The layout is open but the restaurant's identity felt confused, as to where it needs to fall on the Mediterranean gauge. I did enjoy the experience nevertheless and wish that those dishes get the attention so they are always perfect.

Quira Gangi: I would give this place a solid 4.5 stars. The atmosphere was great, it's a beautiful place. The service was also great. For food, we got the spicy eggplant which was really spicy. My husband got chicken shwarma and he said it was just OK, but he likes his food really flavorful and spicy. I got falafel on salad and it was really good. Would definitely go back!
Gregory J. Walker: Food: 4/5|Service: 5/5|Atmosphere: 4/5More
Mari: Baked kibbee
Ashley Blake: As a lover of Mediterranean food, I have to say that I was a bit disappointed here. The food wasn't inedible, but I definitely would not ever go back. Lacking flavor, overall, especially for the price point. Meat was not tender. I had heard people rave about Jocelyn's, so maybe my anticipations were high. I would rather go to Amphora in Derry. The service was also very slow on a Saturday night where we had a reservation... I suspect they might understaff the waitstaff (not the workers' fault). Everyone here was very nice though and it has good ambience.

Peter Sward: The menu said: "Spicy Chicken Wings /drumpstick" ($13). I read this as you can either order wings or drumsticks. Turn out you get exactly what's written on the menu. Chicken wings and a drumstick! Look at that almost caramelized outside, and they were perfectly cooked. I wouldn't call them SPICY, but they were pleasantly spicy. The wings were fine, but the drumstick was reheated and dried out.
Bonnie Chen: This is my go-to Cambodian restaurant ever! My boyfriend and I make it a point to stop by here whenever we are in North Andover. We only ever order the same two things here - beef stew noodles and the shaken beef! The shaken beef comes with a delicious pork broth soup that is so good. Unfortunately it does not come with the order if you order take out - only dine in I believe. The shaken beef is nice and tender with great flavor. The beef stew noodle soup has a flavor that I never had before and it's quite addicting. It's hard for me to finish a bowl of noodles, but I'm always finishing this one! The staff is always so friendly. I love coming here!
