C H: My husband and I lucked out by getting to work with Barb. My dress was expensive, and I knew I needed someone who is highly skilled. I spent hours scouring reviews of all of the seamstresses within a 50 mile radius. I ended up calling only TWO - one was Barb, and the other was in Boston. Barb, by far, has the best reviews out of anyone in the area.Barb returned my inital call to her within 5-10 minutes. Right away she was very warm and knowledgable. I had a long list of things that needed to be done to my wedding gown, I am a petite woman and my dress had a heavy cathedral train. Some of the major pieces of the project included making the gown strapless (fully re-doing the bodice by hand), a significant hemm with horsehair, a bustle for the train, hand washing the train, and removing the zipper from my corsett/waist trainer to add little hooks.She also custom made my husband’s vest. He now wants to keep it as a family heirloom and have his brother and/or future son wear it!In terms of the quality of her work, she is an absolute PRO. She basically was able to reconstruct my whole dress to fit me perfectly. When she was done with it, the dress was truly stunning. I recieved SO many compliments. My husband and I both loved working with her. Like I mentioned, shes very warm, knowledgable, and capable. She’s also timely, flexible, and easy to communicate with. Clearly I can’t say enough good things about her. We highly reccomend her. We can’t wait to get our wedding photos back to share with her. Thank you so much Barb! Lauren Wang (Sarxuka): Barbara was amazing! I bought the dress before covid hit and gained a bit of weight during the pandemic and thus couldn't fit in my dress anymore. Not only did she size my dress out for me, she motivated me to lose the extra weight so that the corset ties wouldn't need to be installed on it for it to fit. She looks out for you and present all options available. I truly suggest going to her to get alterations done. Present and future brides would be safe in her hands. Alisha Dagle: She was terrible. Seemed very knowledgeable and nice at the beginning. She ruined my wedding gown . Used white buttons on my ivory gown. She told me to buy this corset that came up past the back of my dress and expected me to wear it that way. She wanted to place a piece of lace to cover the strap of the bra that was showing. The corset showed thru the shear part of the back of the dress and expected me to be ok with it. There was a hole in the arm of my dress she didn't fix. She refused to take less money and told me I must pay her in order to take my wedding gown back. I had to then take my wedding gown to another seamstress and pay more money to fix the mistakes.Service:Bridal bridesmaids

I didn't go to a professional at first and that was a mistake. Thank God for Barbara! She looked at what I had (just a pattern and fabric) and reassured my nervous self that she could get it done. We had a couple fittings and she explained what she was doing and why she was doing it in a way that even I who can't sew a button understood. A week later I had a finished dress that came out perfect! It fit wonderfully ("fit is most important"- Barb) and looks gorgeous. It's perfect for a Bahamas beach wedding.

I Googled and found the London Tailor Shop online. They are local and the reviews were good so I took a chance. Well let me tell you...they exceeded my expectations!!! I had told my daughter not to hold her breath before I went there due to the extremely short time frame but they agreed to do it and it was done well by the next day!!! The price was great too.. Neek D: I went in there on 8-14-22 and the store needs to do something about this girl named Samantha.I was waiting in line for checkout and out of nowhere I heard someone raising their voice. It seemed as if one employee was yelling at another employee, and she seemed very rude and unprofessional. When I finally got up to the counter I asked the cashier what happened and apparently the girl being yelled at was just trying to get her stuff because she was done for the day, and that’s when I found out the girl doing the yelling was named Samantha. How can you be that rude and raise your voice at another coworker in front of numerous customers and deny access to personal belongings of another coworker? I’m in management, and the way she handled the situation was rude, demeaning and absolutely unprofessional. The girl that got yelled at looked very upset when she finally left with her stuff. Now one employee has to deal with some sort of embarrassment after that episode. Do something about this, because it will happen again.
