Helen Rivas: Very rude and unprofessional. I ordered oil to be delivered. I was never told over the phone it was CASH ONLY. The delivery person never confirm it was “cash only” and proceeded to setup. After realizing I wasn't aware of this new “cash only” rule, he storms off yelling, telling me he is leaving and won’t be coming back. I’ve had oil delivered by this company for 7 years. They always charge my card for service. I called the office and the lady who answered proceeded to tell me to “call back the following day for a gas delivery.” I called early morning the following day and she’s freaking out on the phone saying I can’t call for same day service and proceed to hang up on me when I told her that it was her request for me to call the following day. It is winter time. I have children. It’s also the day before thanksgiving. I’ve been trying to resolve this issue since Monday and it is now Wednesday and I have no oil to heat my home because the employees are behaving very unprofessional and cannot conduct business professionally or properly.

Carline Lorentzen: Woke up to no heat and a load of soot in the basement. Called into the answering service and got a call about 15 minutes later. Thank goodness the outside temp was in the mid 40s so we were not really cold. The Service man came and we found out we needed a chimney company to come in. Joyce referred Jim Sullivan. I called and left a voicemail, 5 minutes later he returned my call and was at our home in an hour. A couple of hours later the issue was resolved and all was fixed. We are a second generation Mahoney Oil Customer and with customer service and focus like this, we will continue to be.

J: Forgot to order oil before our trip. Came home to near empty tank on Saturday. I called first thing this morning and asked if they could expedited a delivery for me. Oil was delivered in less than three hours. Fantastic service
Bryant Salvesen: My family have used marchand since we moved here 25 years ago. I have found them to be honest decent people. Our furnace is old and works just fine. Have it serviced never felt ripped. Shut my furnace off when fuel prices spiked this spring
Marcello Aldorasi: Leo Marchand Inc, performed a yearly maintenance on our boiler on 11/2. Leaving air in the oil lines and our boiler non functioning. After arriving home from vacation discovered the heat was not working and requested they come out to correct the issue. Additionally we have noticed that after they replaced the oil filter and gasket we have had a slow progressive leak. Upon calling them to come correct the issue they state that if they determine it is not the filter and gasket and due to the filter housing we are responsible for the costs. 1st, they left us with inoperable heat from this year's service due to the workmanship issue of not properly bleeding the oil lines and pump. 2nd they denied that same service, which already displayed poor workmanship, was not the cause to the leaking filter. 3rd, they expect us to take their word upon inspection of the leaking filter on whether we have to pay hundreds of dollars more to replace parts that were 100% functional and leak free before their service.We were better off without having the service performed at all! If your oil provider company recommends them, source your own service provider!!UPDATE: After further inspection [see additional picture] it is blatantly clear that it was once again a workmanship issue and the oil filter gasket is not properly installed.

Eileen Blanchette: Ok so. I have never experienced such customer service in my life. JA Healy installed a new furnace and ac unit 1.5 years ago and did a superb job. When I went to turn on the ac during the heat wave it failed. I called the office and shortly after they were at my home and diagnosed a bad compressor. The same day they called and ordered another. They requested that the part be shipped overnight - vendor agreed to do that, except they didn’t do it that day. Diane and her team did EVERYTHING they could. So instead of waiting for the part they drove to New Hampshire picked up an entirely new AC unit and installed it this morning. Oh and by the way, we just got an edible arrangement from them apologizing for the delay. So look no further. When you call tell Diane is said hi.

Samantha Reviu: Deserves a zero star. So called Operations manager Christina is incompetent and need to have more customer service skills. They tell you one thing and what they are coming to do then another person tell you another thing. Then they come, do half a job and don't tell you, when inquired they said they were busy and no way could have done the work, and this is after they said they would. Wow what a response! On top of that they ask to pay $155 to come back out to do a 5 minutes job. On top of that I had a credit card on file and every time I can they would say I have these small balances, $20 here, $10, there. When I asked why this keep happening they have no real explanation other than "you have a balance". Please save yourself and STAY AWAY!!! Thank me later.

Lauren Barker: I’ve been a customer for almost 2 years. I’m on auto pay. My first gripe was that they continued to leave my fence open- knowing we have dogs that play in the there-and small children. I was able Look that over with some reminders and double checking when we went out. However, during the winter and in the time of a pandemic, I won’t excuse the lack of customer service. We are on auto delivery. Andre reaches out saying I had a balance from December(but I had made payments on invoices in February). I explained it was mailed previously and to please let me know if they can’t locate it and I will send another. No response left me thinking I was all set. We ran out over a weekend. A gentleman came and gave us 10 gallons on Saturday with a scheduled delivery on Monday. We receive a call on Monday saying we had a balance- I explained the emails to a rude woman who finally sent me to Andre. We figured it out- I told him I would leave a check- he tells me I have to wait 4 days to get oil with a check payment, I would have to provide cash(meanwhile I’m home with 3 kids during this cornonavirus and my checks always clear) I always pay by check with no issue-again I’ve been a loyal customer who pays her bills. He makes an exception but then tells me I have to pay extra for same day delivery- seriously it’s baffling. We switched. I was treated like garbage and it’s unacceptable.

Norske2: Been a Lorden customer for around 20yrs. However, I'm rethinking my choice. Ran out of fuel (auto fill prgm) twice in 16 mo and have an issue with my furnace they installed 4 yrs ago. Very average customer service thus far. Do I give them another chance ??
Paul Shaughnessey: We have been using Lorden for Propane for about a year and 4 months. They have done a poor job with their billing. I get the run around each and every time I call them about getting my bill monthly. Our Jan-Feb Bill was $750 for two months. They charged us $3.19 per gallon. We have sent a letter to the NH Attorney General charging Price gauging their customers. I don't recommend this company.
jennifer jean: My furnace stopped running properly on a Friday night at 1:30 am. I called Lorden, their answering service picked up. They took my message. The tech called me back within 10 minutes. He arrived 45minutes later. He thoroughly checked the furnace, determined it was the regulator outside by the propane tanks that had failed. He went out in sub zero temps in the dark at 3 am & installed a new regulator. Great service, I was back to a working furnace in no time. I cannot say enough about the great service from Lorden, from the moment I called in the middle of the night, to when the issue was promptly fixed. Thank you so much!!!!!!
Brenda Wilson: I normally don't do reviews, however this needs to be said. I called to order oil this am and the woman who took my call asked me how my son was doing in Afghanistan. I have not talked to anyone at Lorden since last January when my son left. For them to note my account and then ask me about him put me into tears. It was probably the nicest thing anyone has ever done. Being a mom of a son in Afghanistan is a tough thing but for someone to ask about him is just AMAZING. Charles Cramer: POOR customer service - POOR websiteI've been a Lorden customer for many years. As an "automatic delivery" customer, I've run out of oil twice. I wrote off the first time as fluke - I didn't get a bill and had a past due balance (which I wasn't aware of, since i'd received no phone call, no bill). I assumed this was an oversite.Just today, after a night of 20 degree weather, I woke to a cold house and no hot water. I soon discovered that I had (again) no oil. I went to check my account balance online but they only offer a way to pay with NO ability to see your balance. Yet again, No phone calls from Lorden at any time,I blind paid forward my account to get a delivery underway and they want to assess me an extra $140 for "emergency delivery".My recommendations? once was attributable to an oversight. Twice is just reckless and irresponsible. No phone call is indefensible (yes they have CLEARLY listed on my account info my contact info, including phone). Based upon the many other negative reviews I've just discovered online, I could not recommend this company and in fact would suggest that prospective customers should take their business elsewhere. A company this disengaged and irresponsible doesn't deserve ANYONE's business.
Kelly McKillop: I placed a call for service on 8/1/14 for service for my very elderly mother-in-law. Her A/C was out and needed repair. Lorden came out the same day and took the system apart and needed to get a part. There was a question about the availability of the necessary part and, if it could not be repaired, might need a new system. She had not mentioned it again until yesterday (9/14/14) that the system had not yet been repaired or replaced. She has been on the phone with Lorden every day this past week and quite a bit in the weeks prior to that. She tried to get them to come to a conclusion (repair/replace) since 8/1; meanwhile, the furnace blower is in parts on the basement floor. As a result of their inaction, she has been without air conditioning through the hottest part of the summer and now without heat as the cold weather has set in. Leaving an 88 year old woman without A/C or heat for more than six weeks is unconscionable. She has been a loyal and quick paying customer for 23 years and this is how she has been repaid for that loyalty..
