He was by far one of the easiest vendors to coordinate with over the 2+ years of unplanned planning because we had to postpone. I felt so at ease during our conversations and going into my big day knowing I had Terry on my side made the hours leading up to my ceremony so easy going and relaxing (and who wouldn’t want that?!). He nailed the ceremony song list, was able to perfectly coordinate our entrance with specific timing, and the dance floor was packed the whole night. One of my favorite highlights I wasn’t even there for – before the entrances started, he acknowledged my 91-year-old nana who was sitting down at her table and she tells me every time I see her how she felt like a celebrity and “couldn’t believe she heard her name come from the speaker.” I got to bust a move with everyone I love the rest of the night and the only time I saw people not on the dance floor was if they were getting another drink or needed a short breather because they hadn’t taken a break since the dancing started. I still have people telling me how much fun they had! Terry even pulled some songs out of his back pocket that I hadn’t heard in years and was so excited when they played because they brought back so many memories with my friends. Terry and his team at Crown Entertainment were an absolute dream to work with and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for DJ services. Thank you again Terry!!

Mandy and Tuan Vo: This review is solely to review the main contact person (Sara Ryan) of this company. This review does not apply to other staff members. At this stage of wedding planning, we are looking to hire a DJ. We find Sara to be unprofessional, unresponsive, and dishonest. We would not recommend working with Sara. If possible, work with the DJs or other staff members DIRECTLY, NOT through Sara. Please do not put yourself through stress and frustration as your wedding planning is already a long planning process.We were trying to set up an appointment with the DJ for our wedding through Sara. Note that scheduling is not as flexible compared to other venues. You'll have to be flexible around the DJ's schedule - we didn't mind that too much because life happens. Sara proposed a time that my fiance and I would be flexible with. We confirmed the date and time with her. However, we have never received an email confirming the meeting with the DJ. At the time of the "planned" meeting (4 days later), Sara or the DJ never contacted us. Due to the lack of response and unprofessional behavior, we've decided not to pursue this company for our wedding. The next day, Sara responded back by "forwarding" an email that she has "sent" to us. After inspecting her "forwarded" email and our email thread, we have concluded that she has lied to us by writing a fake forwarded email. We looked through our entire email chain – her “forwarded” email looks completely different from the original email chain… She didn't even put in an effort to fake the forwarded email the entire way with other details. We are shocked that Sara would fake an email to us. We would never expect this from any staff members. She didn't even apologize to us for her lack of response and having us miss this "planned" meeting.I would not recommend working with Sara. It might be quicker to work with the DJ and other staff members directly. Other venues also respond quickly with meetings set up in less than a few days.

Amanda Carlson: We were very pleased with DJ Dee from Crown Entertainment. Everything went as planned for our 100 person wedding and she kept the dance floor busy all night! When we had to fire our coordinator at the last minute, she stepped in and really ran the reception. She made sure we were all lined up correctly for our entrance, she let us know when we were behind schedule and might want to do our dances and cake while people were being served, and she played the songs we wanted and everyone commented on how great the music was! I had never seen a DJ who would get out from behind the table to update us or make sure people had mics. She really saved our reception from all the other things that went wrong that day! I highly recommend Dee.

Susan Wright: I was planning an anniversary party long-distance and found Crown Special Events online, and, man, am I happy I did! I cannot say enough good things about our DJ Dee. I have hosted a lot of events but simply ran out of time and didn't get to provide the input or direction about song choices etc before the party, and that ended up being a good thing. I told Dee we really only needed music for the last 2 hours of the party but she offered to play for the entire 5 hours. Everything she played was perfect for whatever was happening at the time, and she "read" and anticipated what was best suited for each situation so perfectly. She is a sweetheart of a person, and a true delight to work with. She flexed to whatever we needed and we threw a couple curve balls at her. I only wished I lived closer. I would use her for every one of my parties. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!!!!!!!

We were fortunate enough to find them through a referral for my daughter's 18th birthday bash. The party was only about 50 kids but Chris and Enrique made sure all of them were on the floor, having fun all night. The lighting they used was the perfect touch and the photo booth was, of course, a huge hit.Chris was able to find all of the music my daughter requested and really personalized the event for her.From my initial inquiry to the end of the night, everyone at Crown Special Events was professional, courteous and eager to make our little party just as much fun as one of their big events.

Jeff Cohen: My wife and I first experienced Stephen and metro mass entertainment at my sisters wedding. We had a blast and thought that he did a great job. We liked him so much we decided to use him for our own wedding. Stephen made the process very easy. He was receptive to certain songs we wanted played or didn’t want played and went through a whole checklist of how to present the groomsman and bridesmaids as well as taking the time to learn the correct way to pronounce certain people names. Stephen was professional and courteous and I can’t thank him and metro mass entertainment enough. My wife and I highly recommend them.

Before the event he met with us for an hour to make sure he knew exactly what songs and games we wanted and during the event he kept the kids engaged at all times with fun games and dancing. He also coordinated well with my other vendors i,e, phtographer to make sure the day ran smoothly. His price was very reasonable too. I highly recommend Steve for your event.
