I live 15mi from their location and have 8 windows to replace. Moral of the story is that they do not read the scope of work, and apparently, they do not need smaller jobs. Customer service seems to be a weak point based on other reviews. I will be staying away.

Ruth B: If you are looking for screens that can go up and down with ease to accommodate the screen being at the top or bottom of your window and not have bugs flying in, as well as great customer service; this place is NOT for you.The screens do NOT go up and down with ease, the tabs catch the window somehow dragging the screen up and down leaving the window screenless. When the screens are manually corrected EVERYTIME there is an inch gap between the screen and window leaving it exposed for bugs to come in freely…and they do, like a lot of them. When I called the store asking for help and about their warranties the man sounded extremely annoyed. The answer I got for help was No and for warranties was there are None.Needless to say we got to throw our money out the window with useless screens. Now we get to look forward to spending money on screens again with the hopes that we actually get what we pay for.Good luck to you if you buy from here, I mean this sincerely; hopefully your experience is not as ours was if you buy from here.

David Hastings: Complete Vinyl Siding replacing All Existing Wood ShinglesOur home was built in 1952 and had wood siding throughout. It was tired and I suspected some rot and insect damage. Hi-Tech sent Jared out to give my wife and I a preliminary estimate. We went through an exhaustive walk around of the house and he provided an extremely detailed work order, identifying specifics including areas that might require additional work, how each area of the house would be handled as regards a Tyvek barrier, siding, gutters, downspouts, storm door removal and re-hanging. A multi-page document resulted, and the final work did not differ in any way from the pre-agreement. He accepted a cash/financing combination and provided a financing company with a triple A rating and a very competitive rate [6.99%]. I was given a price-lock guarantee which, in the era of supply chain issues, was a great peace of mind. The color choices were extensive as were the material options. Hi-Tech handled all of the issues with the Town of Andover including permitting and attending meetings of the Andover Historical Preservation Committee. The actual work was supervised by Dennis and Louis, with an on-site crew of five extremely diligent craftspeople who did an amazing job - including thorough clean-up each day. Dennis arranged for Joel, the electrician, to remove and reinstall all our light fixtures beautifully. A dumpster arrived, a porta-john, too, so the crew did not have to come into the house. All this was done in the dead of winter - January 2023 - with snow, mud, and frigid temperatures. Despite all that, the work was done perfectly and quickly. I have been very wary at letting anyone do improvements on my home because I love it so much and I'm so afraid that it is not going to be done right. I interviewed many companies before choosing this one and paid what I believed to be top dollar for a really good business.My windows were not installed properly and are causing my home to be less energy efficient because of the lack of insulation that was put in. There was a kind man from the company that came by and took a look at the work and was appalled himself and said that he was going to rip it all out and redo it. He ripped out my bedroom window and there was barely enough insulation. The problem was discovered but then now it has been several weeks and I have a broken apart bedroom window and a variety of other windows that have unsightly scratched paint all around the edges that I can't have fixed because I don't know when they are going to come back and have to rip it all out again.I have now set aside 2 additional days for them to redo the work and one day nothing was done and the other day I got half of a bedroom window.He left at the beginning of the week and never said anything, never said when he was coming back and I haven't heard back from anyone and I literally don't even know what I'm supposed to do.I would say this is colossally the worst possible outcome that I could have hoped for.
