Mary Snow: I called Donald’s Plastering on Saturday and Donald sent one of his crew here the next Monday. A whole wall pretty much got pushed out last year because of a renovation in our bathroom. I’ve been putting this job off because I remember how messy the plaster removal was in the renovation and I couldn’t imagine how much mess this project was going to make. In this area, I stripped all the wood work in the hall and did the stairs over. Well, long story short, Donald’s crew repaired the wall and didn’t damage my reclaimed woodwork. They also finished in a half day and saw a crack across the hall ceiling and repaired that while he was up on a ladder. The owner called me when the crew was cleaning up and told me I needed to sand lightly around the edges before I am ready to paint. I really appreciated that.I can’t tell you what a relief it is to have that wall repaired and the outcome is better than I expected. I would, and am, going to use Donald’s Plastering again. You should use them too if you want a job well done and everything cleaned up to perfection.

We have a very old house with high ceilings and plenty of irregularities (nothing is level or straight)—but somehow he always manages to make the walls and ceilings look smooth and flawless. martin nilsson: This guy Vinny is a serious clown! Hired him to cover my popcorn ceiling with drywall. Total disaster, he tore up my house..damaged my hardwood floors, and the quality of the work he did was awful. The taping was the worst I’ve ever seen , and the guy who did the mudding was just as bad..you could see all the screws “popping” after the job was “done.” He sold the job as, “will be ready for primer and paint once done,” but that wasn’t the case at all. All told, I ended up kicking this guy out of my house and hiring another contractor to fix Vinny’s mess. Hot Mess..hire this guy at your own risk ..Service:Drywall installation

I have NEVER been kicked out of anyones house in 4 years as he mentioned. He is lying. Even my hangers who did project will say he was happy and invited us all to summer bbqs.The floor was already scratched up and i have before and after photos to prove it. Nice try Martin. Waited almost a year to comment?? Did this in Oct 2021. Why people do this is beyond me. I have proof to show otherwise. 3 bad reviews out of 55 ,I'll take that all day long.Every now and then you get a bad review. I did a job for Tom Cleary back in March. After i was done, and we all looked at it ,it was fine. After a few weeks he painted it ,and some issues needed to be addressed. I was very responsive and fixed areas needed. Everyone was happy and I haven't heard anything since March. A no call and no issues in 4 months since. I would of met with them again if they called and any issues needed to be fixed .If he feels it's important to leave a negative review after months of completion that we all agreed it was great so be it. Two sides to every story. Why people try and do this is really sad. I would never tell a homeowner I hated the way it came out. End of July and now you have a issue?? 4 months later and i heard nothing from you after I went back to fix mistakes when requested. I stand by my work and fix issues that a homeowner may have.
