Get a lot of complaints about the Art teacher being mean and some of the paras as well. Parking is Very Limited. Playground is small but sufficient. Not many after school activities offered at this school.

Jessica: I drop off my child everyday at school and some of the teachers who stand outside are extremely rude. When I politely say excuse me because they're all on the sidewalk and kids have to walk on the street to go around them they don't move. Not only don't they move but also say unwanted remarks. As a staff at a public school you will never see this unprofessionalism with teachers towards parents. It hasn't been the first time this has happened.

Cindy Nicolau: Great school with a home like environment. School is improving appearance wise, a new playground for the kids is now being built. I've been to this school when I was younger and my children are now attending many teachers are still around from when I was going there.
Bev Peña: My son is attending his second year at this school, he is in second grade and we are having a very difficult time with his teacher. She is very crude and not nurturing at all. The school itself is ancient. There is concrete surrounding the building, no playground, tiny patch of grass too small for any kids to enjoy. The parking lot for teachers surrounds the school as well, where children walk through to get to school and can be hazardous. The secretary is rude and cold. The principal is mostly MIA, finally got to see who she was this year and at one assembly. She rarely intervenes and has limited communication. The secretary doubles as administrator as well. Not happy at all. The ratings were very low but his first grade teacher was excellent. He's very smart and never had an issue before. Until this teacher. he has become afraid of her and going to school. I would think twice about sending my child here. Hopefully I can have mine transferred to a new school or we will have to move.

Gina Loiacono: Office staff is rude , not in person , but whenever they call for me to pick my kids up if they get sick ,or if I have to call for something I always get a really bad attitude from the woman who handles the calls .On top of that when she called one of the emergency contacts she was giving out unecessary information and being very rude .

Jaylyn Nha: I go to this school and it’s pretty fun. Don’t tell anyone but sometime Im loud at recess. But I think your kids should go to this school bc we learn lots of things and sometime we like to go crazy and make jokes but in my class, in my class I have the BEST teacher everyone would love and like. Ashley Archambault: Great school. Stands up against bullying and encourages the students to be thier best always. They are always having some kind of event including all the students from either a grade or the whole school. The principal is younger and more "hip" to todays kids which i think makes it easier for them to love school and want to go here just for that alone.

Vvs L Photo: In 1837 Horace Mann became Secretary of Education in Massachusetts He set forth his vision for a system of professional teachers who would teach students an organized curriculum of basic content. And that very same tradition and core values can be found at this school. Having children who have gone here. Has left me as a parent feeling appreciative. From the Principal to the Front Desk. The teachers are kind, yet tactful when they need to step in. It is a professional positive, and extremely upbeat school. We all have lives outside of work. Yet I'm still amazed how dedicated the teachers are to the administration and students. They bring back core educational values that make this school a diamond in the rough.
