We started this process in December it is already in March. I give up I am trying the NYC Israeli consulate.

Rachel Anna G: I generally am very positive with my reviews, but the Israeli Consulate of New England is an extremely disappointing service. They are simply not responsive by telephone - the one time they did pick up, the consulate told me “it was a mistake” that they answered the phone. They are inconsistent with their responses over email, despite numerous emails following up for an answer (and one that was time-sensitive). When I came in person for my visa appointment, the two women I spoke with were rude and made me feel uncomfortable. It is very unfortunate that Israel is represented in such a way, and I hope there are changes in future years.

Nihal Velpanur: Getting a tourist/business visa from the Boston consulate is a difficult and sketchy process. They don't respond to calls. All questions and clarifications must be sent by e-mail, and there's no guarantee they'll address what you ask. All documentation online points to a requirement to come in for an interview, but they are not clear that interviews are only if you're under 18 years of age.They misspelled BOTH my first and last name on the visa, even though they had my original passport, visa documents, application forms, invite and business letters, and various other forms that had my name shown clearly and correctly. How does a consulate manage to get both names wrong, and a completely different spelling on the return shipping envelope? There is absolutely no consistency or quality control in the process.I now have less than a week left before my trip to Israel, and no guarantee that I will be allowed to board the plane or enter the country.

Isaac Stroe: They handed us a piece of paper with 2 numbers to call, after one hour of nonstop calling they answered only to tell us that were unwilling to help us and would not even let us in to talk directly, took the day off work and paid an exorbitant amount for parking. Also only open 3 hours a day, a bunch of lazy not cool folks. I really don't want to return.

Nineteen Sixty-Nine: The Consulate General of Israel harasses US journalists for reporting crimes committed by Israel against its neighbors. They and other Israeli consulates in the US need to be exposed for their abhorrent activities against free speech and free press.

Chana Alla: It is not possible to make an appointment. As an American citizen, I can walk in American embassy all over the World at any time but in Boston, no one is even answer phones. They work less than 3 hours a day and than nowhere to be found. Terrible customer service and unpleasant counsel general.

I had spoken to the office last week to make an appointment. They told me to be here today @ 12;30 pm. Took the day off from work, made my way down to the office, only to be rejected, stating that I was not on some list for approval !! And yes the front desk gave this paper with two numbers to call. Impossible to reach them. As they say in hebrew " What a big balagan !! What a shame....

There is not one live person to speak with when you call, emails go unanswered, navigating the website in English is impossible because you do not get the same information as the homepage in Portuguese. I have dual citizenship and am trying to register my son, then get his passport. This whole process is a nightmare and I guess I have to just show up at this place and figure something out! Quinn Walters: Super helpful, relatively quick however if you’re renewing or getting a passport MAKE SURE you have every document you could think of. On the phone they say you only need your old passport (that you’re renewing) but we brought a bill (proof of address), birth certificate (copy), old passport, and CURP code and we had to use each one. Otherwise very nice office just heads up to be prepared!

Carlos cassar: Hoy estuve en la embajada de Mexico en Boston . No se el nombre de mi compatriota que me atendió ( pelo negro y de lentes). Mi visita fue de emergencia y sin cita y de un día para otro , por algo fuera de mi control. Necesitaba un registro y un pasaporte para mi hija de un año y renovar el mío. En 3 horas me solucionaron todo y podré ir a Mexico con mi familia y mi hija sin problemas . Desde el muchacho que contesto mis preguntas el día anterior, el de seguridad , y absolutamente todos en el consulado en especial la señorita que me atendió fueron unos profesionales y muy amables y dispuestos a ayudar . aunque fue todo de última hora tuvieron mucha paciencia conmigo y mis hijos. Les agradezco mil veces por su ayuda y servicio , son dignos representantes de nuestro gran país . 💪🇲🇽🇲🇽🇲🇽 👏👏 Viva Mexico !!!
