Brian Gareau: We burn 4-5 cords of firewood per year to heat our home, meaning I need seasoned wood and I need fully sized cords. QF delivered both, actually a bit more than I asked for. The wood is hand loaded into the delivery truck, so very little debris delivered- just good dry wood. He’s been doing this for decades so knows how to please his customers. You won’t pay bottom price, but the wood is worth it in my view.
Doug Vennard: Brian chose the right name for his company - their quality is the best. The wood is always very consistent - cut to size, split properly, 100% hardwood, seasoned and ready to burn - and the cords are legit full size cords. Brian knows as much about firewood as anyone, the the customer service and delivery are top notch. They might not be the cheapest around, but you get what you pay for. You can take your chances with a cheaper service and get shorted cords, end cuts, green or rotted wood, soft wood mixed in... or you can just go with the most consistent and reliable guy around - Quality.
Kimberly Kuhn: Brian and his team in Westford run a wonderful business. Unlike our last firewood guy who never answered the phone, Brian himself always answers and is so pleasant to work with - I don't think I've ever had to leave a voicemail since we've been ordering from him. I called today asking for another full cord of wood and Brian and his guys delivered within the hour! True to its name, this is indeed quality firewood. I would not hesitate to recommend them to others. They are fantastic!

It appears to be almost entirely oak, which is great for burning. After Brian’s response to a follow up I had, my overall impression is of someone who absolutely stands by his word and strives to give his customers the best service he can.
Megan Pederson: It was terrific working with Brian to get our firewood for the winter. We placed our order around 4:30 PM, and he was able to drop off the wood the next morning. Because Brian hand selects the wood, there was no mulch or strange pieces that were delivered and all were dry. He was also mindful of driving on our yard to drop the pile where we wanted it for us to stack and organize.
Tracy Germann: We had a really great experience with Brian and Quality Firewood. He was super friendly, helped us figure out exactly what we needed, and was extremely prompt (he delivered the wood in a little over an hour from our initial phone call!). We haven't burned any of it yet, but it looks very dry and of superb quality. We would definitely recommend Brian and his company to anyone in the area looking for wood!
M1scellaneous M1scellaneous (MissMisc): Was the only distributor willing to talk to me about finding logs (for mushroom farming). Brian made me a very generous offer, and the service was all around wonderful! Highly recommend! Will talk to you over the phone, reschedule meetings, and give you what you need without hassle.
Brendan Wilson: Honestly, this wood was very expensive ($400 for a half cord), and though the gentleman who delivered it was very friendly and accommodating (reason for the second star), the wood doesn't burn like seasoned wood at all.I was warned over the phone that it was damp from some rain, but that it was properly seasoned and just needed a few weeks to dry out. Well it's been 2 weeks now stacked and covered from rain, even left open on sunny days to dry faster, and several days inside before burning and it's not even close to ready. I think I'll be lucky if I can use any of this wood for a fire in our fireplace by the end of this season. Even if I get a fire going with kiln-dried grocery store stuff, even one of the small logs from this delivery will hiss, steam and put the fire right out. I'm pretty disappointed.
eden evins: The wood was delivered quickly and was expensive because it was early fall and the wood was supposedly semi dried. Three months later, the wood still just hisses with hours of tending. My biggest complaint is that every stick of this wood is covered in mud, as if it was made dirty in order to look older.

Tim Gray: I've been buying firewood from Brian Stevenson/Quality Firewood for several years now, and it's been without exception a good experience. Brian's a pleasant person and easy to work with; I look forward to chatting with him each fall when he drops off our firewood. He'll work around your schedule for delivery versus insisting upon delivering when it's convenient for him, as a prior vendor I dealt with did.Brian's also fair/generous in his measurement of a cord. I often felt that the prior vendors I bought from were defining their cords v. skimpily (though I'll admit I didn't check them with a tape measure). Brian's wood is good too, at least for my purposes--it's cut to standard lengths and is 95%+ solid, stove-ready wood (vs. the rotten/junk pieces you sometimes see elsewhere). You don't find yourself with big hunks that you have to split to squeeze into your stove.

The price was competitive and although the delivery charge was a bit more than planned, his response blew me away saying he could have it to me tomorrow! H George: Outstanding tree service. They able to tackle both big and small jobs at reasonable prices. They don’t try to nickel and dime you and are more focused on doing a good job. I had them clear out over a dozen large oak trees that were leaning over the house. Some needed crane work. They did it all - and did a great job. Left the property clean at the end. All of my neighbors saw the work they were doing and asked me for their info.
Holly Kingsley: I had a dangerous tree threatening my neighbors property after a storm. It was a very large tree and the branches could come down at any minute. Levesque responded quickly and worked with me to achieve a result that was both safe and affordable. I am deeply impressed at how safely they did a dangerous job ( Did I mention this tree was ginormous?). They even chain sawed an aggressive vine for me on another tree and got the branch hanging off my Wi-Fi line. Really, they solved 3 problems for me I couldn’t solve myself.
