Once I went to pick it up he also went above and beyond to find a few accessories I was looking for and outfitted my new rifle for exact what I was looking for. Brendan Cavanagh: The shop is incredibly disorganized inside and in complete disarray. However, that would be fine if the people inside the shop made up for it with great customer service and a good attitude. Nope. I went in there trying to buy something and everyone was just chatting and cussing frequently, completely ignoring me. A very nice and respectful guy came in kindly asking to buy some stuff and the man behind the counter gave him attitude and talked down to him condescendingly for zero reason because the guy didn’t know precisely what he needed. I finally got the attention of someone and they told me what I wanted to buy, 1 box of 300 win mag, was part of the owners personal stash and I’d have to wait for him to come out. It’s not like I was asking to purchase 20 boxes of 9mm, I wanted a single box of rounds for hunting. They didn’t offer to go get him or ask him, I simply had to wait. Why a personal stash is in plain sight and why such a thing exists at all within the store is beyond me. Well after waiting I just left empty handed. This is how I was treated despite having bought a handgun from them about a month ago. I will give them credit that they have very fair prices on their guns and they do not scalp on ammo prices. But there is a lot more to running a gun shop than just that. I can do fine in places like this because I’ve been around guns my whole life and have bought dozens and dozens from many different shops. But to a first time firearms owner who’s coming in hoping to get into this world, a place like this is going to immediately turn them off. This should be a business, not some hangout and personal enrichment joint for the staff.

PJ Mac Neil: I went there for the first time a couple weeks back and was very impressed. Well stocked is an understatement - they have rods on display, more out back I was told and a lot of tying material, waders, packs, reels and accessories. Haven't seen a shop this well stocked since I lived out west. Anyway, both of the gentlemen that I spoke with were low-pressure, easy to talk with and helpful. Will definitely be back and happy to have found the place.

Red Green: This is a family owned Veteran friendly business. I believe that both of the fellows working there are veterans, like myself. These guys are the only game in town, as far as I am concerned. I went there with a friend who purchased a nice fly reel for a custom made rod that he already owned. The service was outstanding and they are fly fishermen supporting fly fishermen, and fly fisher - ladies! These guys are really great guys. They cannot do enough for you. Yes, they are there to sell you something. However, the sell you what you need and do not pressure you. I bought an entry level Orvis package, a book, a pre made fly kit and some supporting items. As far as selection, well it is just fantastic! They have everything you need to go fly fishing. It does not matter, if you are a novice, or an seasoned expert! They have absolutely everything you need, at a competitive price. Check them out and I am sure, you will be pleased that you did! I was!

If you are planning a trip they can help make a custom package of flies (allow ample time since that's no easy task). They have so many styles of the Orvis gaiter masks that work well to protect from the elements and also as a face cover to meet city restrictions. If you need help with anything they have the most knowledgeable staff in the area!
