Eagle East Aviation Inc: what do users think?
Daniel Goldstein: Worste flight school ever, low aircraft’s CFI only care about accumulating flight hours, and the owner is an *ss, they don’t teach like the FAA demands, and they will try and get you to pay for things you don’t need to pay and also over charge you, if you need to drive 10-20 minutes more for a better flight school do it. The main issue is that the owner doesn’t understand that we are “customers” we need to get our moneys worth, and Eagle East Aviation will not deliver
Mauro Benjamin Vacacela Pala: Could you help me with the information that if there is how to validate the BOLIVIAN commercial pilot's license to the FAA?
Batuhan Timurkaynak: I had a discovery flight there which nearly cancelled due to heavy winds. However, that day was my last day in US and besides that I came to Municipal from Newport. Hearing this, Tim (the owner) said we can fly although he warned me it is going to be bumpy and I might not be able to do the take off and landing which I can totally understand. However, he is so crazy and cool that I fly the plane through the entire flight inculiding take off and approach. At the beginning, I never thought that I will have the controls that much. It was beyond my expectations. After that flight, he also invited us to take a motorcycle ride. As a motorcycle enthusiast, being in that hangar was like a dream to me with all that Harley’s and a Piper Pa-28 standing there. We took the ride to somewhere I don’t know and I can say that me being in US for 4 months, it definetly is the best day I’ve ever had. Thanks Tim, Nick, and Eagle East Aviation ✌️
John Berrini: I've done a few flights out of Eagle and loved it all. They are accessible and professional. The office in comfortable. I love flying and sightseeing over the area.
Daniel Morocco: Positive:Communication,Professionalism,Quality,Value
Jesse Combs: I toook the Part 107 drone exam here and the staff is great! They are friendly, professional and the environment is relaxing.
Christopher Fantine: Positive:Professionalism,QualityEagle East went above and beyond when I flew into KLWM for family. The (I’m assuming owner) lent me his own personal car as a crew car! The staff was extremely nice and fun to hang around also. 10/10.
Oren Mamet: Great team,Love the flying,Airplane are ok (as much as 172 can be)Pure fun
Carl Houde: Great environment for training!
javier luna: Great people the work there
Tyler Simchuk: I based my Cessna 310 survey aircraft here in July 2020 and the entire staff was super friendly and helpful with hangar accommodations, fueling, etc. highly recommended!
Richard Whiteley: The Best !!!
Kenneth Black: Great rates and awesome instructors. I highly recommend this business if you have the desire and dream of becoming a pilot. Thanks a Million, Ken B.
John Marchese: Tim was terrific. Nice people here.
Noah Hano: My family and I had an unexpected landing at Lawrence and had to pick one of several FBOs at the airport. Well, as luck would have it, we picked the right one. Tim (owner) and Petros (instructor) greeted us and made us feel right at home. Both went above and beyond to help out. You can't go wrong with Eagle East Aviation.
Davis Barrow: Absolutely top notch flight school! Terrific group.
James Rabideau: Excellent experience, today was my first time flying in a plane, and Tim is an awesome pilot. I would recommend flying here! I will be back to fly again thank you Tim for the awesome experience today!!!!!!
Do Bo: Awesome family run business with great staff and excellent flight training
Jacob Bower-Bir: A fantastic place to learn to fly. A great crew and patient teachers.
Moshe Aziz: I went on a scenic tour with Tim, I must say the man is the best pilot I've ever met, he has been every here and done it all (literally aside for being an exceptional aviation pilot he rides all vehicles including boats and motorcycle). If your looking to go on a plane ride Tim is your man!!

Mike Goulian Aviation: what do users think?
Michael Turilli: The MGA you tube video entitled "Last Chance Flow " is an excellent explanation of the technique a pilot should employ just before takeoff, on the 500 ft call out before landing , and cleanup after landing and clearing the runway. Michael Goulian gives a brief, no frills, and concise method for pilot action in these circumstances ... good advice for any pilot!
Damir Anteljevic: I rented SR-20 from Mike Goulian Aviation at Bedford while visiting family over Thanksgiving holiday, and my experience was nothing short of wonderful. Very friendly and accommodating staff, knowledgeable and professional flight instructors, and clean and well maintained airplanes. I ended up flying my family from Boston area down to NYC and around Manhattan through Hudson corridor and the experience was once in a lifetime! Thank you team at Mike Goulian Aviation for making this amazing experience possible!

East Coast Aero Club: what do users think?
Chris Wood: Absolutely appalling rental prices, even for 2023 and their oldest and most basic 1970s models. I'm renting planes that are half as old for half the price wet, and I can rent a 2022 172 NXi for less than they're charging for a 50 year old steam gauge 172. I can literally rent a twin for less hourly than their 172Ms. This is like helicopter prices for fixed wing training. Highway robbery, and they get away with it because there are so few options in Greater Boston. You would have to be absolutely loaded to afford a PPL at this school - look elsewhere. A "club" in name only.
Adam Heroux: Great flight school, highly recommend
Apurva Tripathi: It’s a great school with amazing people. Specially If you are an international student pilot (or want to be one ), they guide you all the way for the process. Plane rental prices is on a bit higher side but they put emphasis on maintenance and safety of the planes that justifies the cost.Any pilot on the east cost will recommend this school due to the good track record they have maintained.
Peter Geller: I worked at East Coast Aero Club last year and I currently rent from them. The entire operation runs like clockwork. Maintenance and dispatch work together to plan future maintenance which means renters and students always have a plane available. If there is ever any issue, dispatch is very quick to make adjustments to resolve the issue. The quality of instructors is also of note. ECAC has a strong team that work together to achieve the common goal of helping students succeed. If one instructor isn’t a fit, it’s easy to find another that does.As an employee and a renter, I am consistently satisfied with the quality and efficiency of this aero club.
AB Mercer: Professional flight training/aircraft kept up to standards. However-It is very clear ECAC has a misogynistic atmosphere, (particularly within management) making it a toxic environment for women. Also, the owner’s callous disregard for anyone but himself is not only strange but sad.Remember: if something feels off to you, it probably is.
Gustavo Herrera: I live 12 minutes away from Beverly Airport, where there are options for learning to fly. But I drive 35-50 minutes to East Coast Aero Club at Hanscom because of the quality of their instructors, the mint condition of the planes, and the transparency of maintenance (there is a board in the office where you can see the maintenance status of each plane), it's a bit pricier than other flight schools, but worth the money. You can learn in old Warrior IIs, or newer Cessnas 172 with the latest avionics. Highly recommended if you want to become a pilot in a safe and professional environment.
Mohammad Matin-Nejad: If you are looking to take flight classes on your own paste and book lessons but have a busy work schedule this place is the right place for you. This is one of the three ECAC locations in the state. The Bedford location is where I was able to take my flight lessons. ECAC is by far one of the best flight schools in the state with very reasonable pricing on rentals. The front desk staff are friendly, polite and helpful. They make you feel welcomed and always greet you with a smile. The schedule although at times can be busy with multiple students flying for the day, once you book your introductory class you can then book your flight lessons online as you wish; with however many hours you would like to book in a week. You can book flights until a month in advance which gives you plenty of time to plan your personal life around the lessons or the lessons around your personal life. The website is super simple and easy to use and is very straight forward. The instructors are all very skilled and experienced and know how to teach and make you feel comfortable with the plane. Once you start your solo flights other instructors look out for you and are always there as a resource if you need anything. As you take more classes you are expected to do more and more hands on while the instructor observe and goes a little less hands on to give you the skills you need to fly the plane. Justine and Sophie were the two instructors I flew with and both were knowledgeable, skilled and very friendly. They both made me feel comfortable learning from them and slowly progressing to my solo flights. The planes are very very very well maintained and although some are a little older, they perform amazingly, and that goes to show the good work of the maintenance department with this club. There is a very organized system for when there is any maintenance issues with the plane. Things get fixed and looked at right away.Overall I have nothing negative to say about this flight school and only all positive things. It takes a lot to be a pilot but this place makes you feel welcomed, comfortable, teaches you, gives you the skills, and makes you a damn good pilot.Highly recommend!!!
E Hazen: Great maintenance shop and flight school! I returned to flying several years ago after a long hiatus. I got a flight review from ECAC and flew their rental planes for several months, then with the able assistance of Mark (the owner) I purchased my own plane and base it at the field. I have all my maintenance done by ECAC and can't say enough about the service. They understand my preferences (airworthy but not necessarily shiny) and have helped me out in a pinch several times.I find both Mark (the owner) and Adam (head of maintenance) to be friendly, helpful and fair.
Jim Thames: Very well run FBO. In-house maintenance ensures all the aircraft are well-maintained and quickly back online. Wide variety of rental aircraft (high wings/low wing, steam/glass) and professional instructors to choose from. Busy class Delta given proximity to Boston, but what better way to be forced to master your radio work.
Nikhil Subedi: Nice and Clear Administration. Will be Starting my Fixed Wing Training Soon.
Alastair Bastian: Great flight school
Patrick Sweeney: Great instructors, short-sighted management.I spent probably close to $25,000 at ECAC finishing my commercial ticket, getting my tailwheel endorsement, taking aerobatic lessons and maintaining my aircraft. Some of the instructors like Marc Nathanson former Air Force instructor are among the best in the world. The owner Mark Holzworth, however is short sighted, difficult to deal with and lacks any fiber of empathy or understanding of his clients. I get the feeling he only cares about money. After all the time and money I spent there I would expect to be given the benefit of the doubt, but I wasn't. I had a problem with a credit card. I live overseas and when they tried to run it, it was locked for fraud reasons. I told ECAC I'd get back to them when I had things sorted. I was clear I would take care of it in the next couple of days. I was going to go fly the next day and found my online account suspended. Unreal. No phone call, no curiosity - just an a-hole maneuver over $300.I won't go back because I don't like dealing with people like him and I'm fearful he may treat his employees or suppliers even worse than he treats clients. Buyer beware.
Richard Sweeney: I am a 67 year old student pilot - ECAC instructors are excellent; knowledgeable, safe and patient - I recently soloed and plan to complete my Private Pilot License this summer....
Philip Greenspun: I learned to fly airplanes here in 2001 and 2002. Then I learned to fly helicopters here. Now I'm an instructor in both airplanes and helicopters. ECAC has been a wonderful community for me and I very much appreciate the maintenance staff that Mark Holzwarth has built up during the past 25+ years.
Natalie Braginsky: I received, as a gift, a Groupon for an introductory helicopter lesson which included an hour of ground instruction and about half an hour of flying with the instructor in a Robinson R44. I hadn't operated any type of aircraft before, and I had a great first experience here. My instructor was professional, competent, and friendly. The reading required to schedule my lesson definitely made the ground lesson easier to understand. The flight was the best part of the experience. It was very easy to feel the helicopter responding to the controls. The cyclic is very sensitive, like the instructor said ("no abrupt control inputs"). I'd love to continue learning here and I would definitely recommend ECAC to anyone interested in learning to fly.

Brouillette Aviation Training: what do users think?
Spencer Gold: Steve is an experienced, wise, and careful instructor. Taking flying lessons from him has made me passionate about flying.
P Ruckus: I did my instrument training with Steve almost a decade ago. Now, 4,000+ hours of corporate and airline flying later, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him as an instructor. If you truly care about being a concientious, safe, and skillful pilot, there’s no better place to start. Do yourself a favor: Skip the bells and whistles (and cost) of glass cockpits and fancy hangars and build a solid foundation for yourself with a patient, knowledgable, and commited instructor. Steve’s about as OG as they get anymore and every minute you fly with him you’ll be learning something valuable.
Pat Walsh: I crashed and burned...lol
mike totte: It's awesome just to watch aircraft come and go...I personally flew in the Navy and miss it...
Sierra Alpha: Steve is a great instructor, and I learned a lot working with him. It look me a while to get my private pilot license, and it didn't come easy. There were a lot of unease I had to overcome and Steve was a tremendous help so I could trust my training and build confidence. I fly on a regular basis now and enjoy every moment of it, thanks to all the great lessons Steve thought me.
Kelly Rosmus: I love to watch the planes take off....Flying free in the big blue sky puffy clouds....Been doing this for many years
Cameron Bosnic: Great instructor 👍

New England Aeronautics Inc.: what do users think?
Geoff Ling: John is top notch.
Nadine Bergeron-Nutt: John Nutt is the most amazing instructor on the East Coast. He goes above and beyond by teaching aeronautics as you're learning to fly. With over 27,000 hours he is the most experienced and patient individual you can work with. His passion for flying is beyond measurable and his commitment to his students is exceptional.
Anthony Tucci: Flying has only been a dream until John helped make it a reality. I cannot say enough good things about him and his training. I comfortably passed my checkride to be a private pilot and ready to take up family and friends. John's training is very organized, you'll always know where you are with your training. His plane is very well kept and clean, it is NOT a general trainer limping along for students to use. I started and finished my training in the Archer and now I get to rent it. Flying is something I want to do with my family, so my goal wasn't to just "get through it". I wanted to know everything I can and be as safe as I can and John is just the instructor to do that. I put my trust in him to teach me and so should you! Getting your license does take some time, don't be surprised that you'll consider him family by the end of it.
Steven Bell: I started flying 35 years ago in New Zealand, so I've seen my share of flight instructors both in other parts of the United States and around the world. I can say without hesitation that John Nutt is one of the best flight instructors I have ever had.John takes the time to understand you as a person and what your goals are. He then tailors your training to what will work specifically for you. When you hit a plateau and the progress stops (and that will occur for everyone at some point) John has the experience to find a way to get you past that point and get you moving forward again. He treats everyone as family, and that shows in his patience, and also in the care and maintenance of the aircraft.I always enjoy meeting John's other students because there is everybody; from teenagers to retirees, both male and female, and at all levels of training; pre-solo, private pilot, commercial pilot, instrument rating, and flight instructor. Please take advice from someone who has seen a wide range of instructors. A senior, experienced instructor such as John will get you to where you want to be in the most efficient way possible, without cutting corners or compromising safety, and in the process will save you a fortune in terms of time and money.
Jonathan Nutt: I'm somewhat biased because John is my dad, but I still feel compelled to write him a 5 star review. Not because I'm his son, but because I truly believe he's one of the very best flight instructors out there. Therefore, I want anyone reading this who may be considering learning to fly to know that with him you'll find only the very best. My dad has been teaching my entire life - literally, my entire life. I've never known a time in my life where my dad wasn't lesson planning or passionately heading to the airport to teach a student. He lives and breathes flying and teaching. He's notorious for waking up before the sunrise and teaching until well after it sets. He spent much of his career working as a Senior Flight Instructor for another area flight school, but it was always his dream to own a plane of his own and to be able to teach on his own terms, following his own philosophy. Finally, after many years he went solo (no pun intended) and is now continuing to do what he does best, but now with complete freedom to offer unparalleled flight instruction in the way that only he can. Growing up with a pilot for a father, I learned a lot about the differences between a good vs. a not-so-good flight instructor, as well as between good and not-so-good pilots. It's important to know that not every instructor is the same or as well-qualified, in the same way that not all pilots are as knowledgeable or committed to safety as others. My point is, if you're looking to challenge yourself to learn to fly an aircraft and want to not only learn, but learn how to do it well and safely, why take a chance and choose just any instructor? Instead, choose to learn from an instructor with over 30 years of teaching experience and so many logged hours I won't even attempt to guess correctly. Choose to learn from John through New England Aeronautics and in doing so you've chosen the very best. After all, don't we all want the very best? If, after all of your research and reading this review and others you still have any hesitation, feel free to give him a call or send him an email. Take the first step in the right direction and before long you'll be flying high (and not to mention, like a pro).
Paul McCracken: If you get a chance to fly with John. You will be flying the plane from start to finish.Regardless of your experience. You will get your money's worth of instruction.
Stephanie Lynn: The caliber of flight instruction from John Nutt at New England Aeronautics Inc. is truly exceptional. His commitment and devotion to his students is without comparison, as is his knowledge and attention to detail. Having over 30 years of instruction experience, John approaches aviation and flight training through the study of Aeronautics which is more than just learning to fly. 5 stars isn't enough to describe his training!

Air Direct Airways: what do users think?
James Place: The atmosphere was awesomeFood was greatStaff was friendlyI'd recommend !
Robert Deneau: Went for the air show was a good time
Krys Kenney: I had mostly positive experiences with Air Direct up until this past weekend. My instructor had to cancel our lesson the week before due to flights being grounded for the Trump rally, but he said he would put me on the schedule for the following Sunday at the same time. When I was on my way in to my lesson the following Sunday, I noticed my calendar hadn't alerted me for my flight, so I looked, and the flight wasn't there. I texted the instructor to confirm the lesson, and the response I got was. "I see. Looks like an oversight on my part. Unfortunately, I have another commitment at that time". Basically, he just forgot to put me on the schedule, and then filled that slot with another student.OK, I can understand that an indivual instructor might have forgotten and had something else going on. So I call the office and advise of the situation, and ask of there is anyone else available for a lesson. Response: "No, we're all booked up today". That's it. No apology, no attempt to make it right. So between the instructor and the office staff themselves, there was no desire to rectify the situation, no consideration for my time (which I pay good money for) what so ever. Basically just a 'too bad, so sad' attitude all around.I didn't want to waste a trip to the airport, so I went and signed up with another nearby school to ensure that I have future options available to me. Kinda sad considering the amount of money a person pays for flight instruction.
Ken Kuroiwa: Management is poor. Cannot believe their any reply and response. Also, aircraft is not safe. I had flat and stopped on the runway.
Andrew Gibson: Couldn't have asked for a better experience. My experience was professional, knowledgeable & fun. I'd recommend it to anyone
Rich Payne: Extremely friendly and helpful staff, reasonable rates, definitely a kid-friendly atmosphere.I am very happy that I chose Air Direct for my sons first flight. I intend to pursue my pilots license through them as well..

Boston Helicopters: what do users think?
Richard Demeule: Amazing!! We took the sea coast tour. Great views of the coast and beaches of Gloucester. Our pilot was Olivia. She was very personable.
John Marcinkevich: An excellent outfit, great place to start your Chopper Training, or just go out for a ride!
Elizabeth Saunders: Absolutely amazing experience! Pilot was fantastic, staff in office so friendly!
Peter Janis: We had an awesome Boston tour with Jesiel would love to go again
Casey Lepisto: I wanted to do something special for my daughter before she returns to school for her senior year. I didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. I have done helicopter tours before, nothing local, and this experience blew all the rest away. The experience was much more personal, likely because they are a flight school and not just a tour company. Our Pilot was fantastic and allowed us to tell him what we wanted to see ahead of time.
taqueria estilo Jalisco: Excelente
Henry Kuhn: Awesome flight, pilot knew all the landmarks and gave us a great tour of Boston and the coast. These small helicopters are so much fun.
Danny Cray: It was one of the best things I've done in my life and they are very professional
Philip Knowlton: What a wonderful experience! I highly recommend taking lessons or just a flight out to the beach!
Oren Mamet: Super fun
Richard Tkaczuk Jr.: Amazing trip!Jesse is great Pilot and Guide!Obrigado
Rob DiMartino: Had my initial flight instruction with Paul last Thursday. An absolutely wonderful experience. Paul is very professional! Highly recommend Boston Helicopters. Will be signing up for additional lessons.
Diana Day: I bought an experience for my partner and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I had to cancel it several times and they couldn't have been more accommodating. First rate in my book. Was exciting for my partner to actually fly the helicopter and the pilot was patient and terrific! Would definitely recommend this company!
Lauren Toupin: My husband took me for a helicopter ride a few weeks ago for my birthday. It was our first time ever in a helicopter and once the ride was over, I wanted to go again! It was the most fun I've ever had in my life. The instructor, Jesiel, was such an awesome tour guide and pointed out all interesting and beautiful sites. I highly recommend going on this tour!
Tadd LeRocque: Had an awesome time on my ride. The instructor was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Ashan Goonetilleke: Wow this was amazing!!! We did the boston city tour and the total ride lasted about 45 mins. Its such a great experience and Jesiel the pilot was great. He was pointing out all the landmarks which were amazing to see from more than a 1,000 feet up. And I highly recommend sitting in the front if you're up for it!
Kyle Conroy: Got a helicopter lesson as a gift for my birthday, and it was a great experience. I had never even flown in a helicopter before, but I was comfortable and having fun the whole time. My instructor, Oskar, was experienced and friendly. We rescheduled the lesson on short notice without any trouble. I would definitely recommend Oskar and Boston Helicopter for yourself or as a gift.
James Dobson: I went on an intro flight in the R22 a while ago. I enjoyed the entire experience so much that I decided to gear my career towards becoming a professional pilot. Since then I have acquired an additional 40 hours of flight time and will be continuing through to my commercial license. If you've never flown in a helicopter or had the opportunity to fly a helicopter I would recommend an intro flight to anyone. It's not all too expensive and it's a lot of fun. When I came in for my intro flight I was curious about what the helicopter could do and just how maneuverable it really was. The instructor (who's name I can't remember) was very nice and personable. He answered all the questions I had about flying as a career and when I asked him to show off the capabilities of what the helicopter could do he confidently banked the helicopter all the while assuring me it was perfectly safe. Once we were back on the ground I wasn't ready to set it down just yet so I asked him to show me some hovering maneuvers. He did so happily. At the time I had no idea of how much skill was involved to hover a helicopter let alone to do it well, but now that I have gone through the rodeo that is learning to hover I can tell you with confidence the gentleman I flew with was an extremely good pilot. And with that I'm happy to give Boston Helicopters a full 5 stars. They're a great operation and they helped me find more than just a job but a passion.
Johann Vigelius: I received a 30 minute flight as a birthday gift. The instructor was very friendly and knowledgeable and made the whole experience a lot of fun. The helicopter seemed very well maintained and everything was focused on safety. I can finally say that I flew a helicopter! This is a great gift for anyone looking to do something different!
Mykola Dolgalov: I got a 30 minute helicopter ride as a gift from my wife. It was a great experience. Very satisfied. Highly recommend to anyone. The instructor is very friendly and attentive, very willing to give you the best experience possible, willing to give you the controls to fly this marvelous machine.
