bmcart1: Do not interview for a position with this company. I was contacted by a (Danielle) after she reviewed my resume. I went through 2 phone screenings before being asked for a meeting in person. I had taken time off from my current job responsibilities to meet the interview time and was on time and ready for the interview. I stuck my hand out as the hiring manager walked through the door and (as he was shaking my hand) he said two of the dumbest things I have ever heard. 1.) Didn't you receive a call and 2.) Well.... it was nice to meet you. It seems the position had already been filled. Like everyone... I can forgive an honest mistake. But, his attitude, demeanor and the troubling thought that I never had a chance to compete for the position bothered me. It seems.. that its a nitco internal hiring policy to score as many interviews as possible and then see the other applicants who show up for their interview... out the door?? What's also troubling is nitco's lack in providing any reason as to why this happens at all???? I'm left frustrated after calling nitco's corporate office without any resolution. Danielle was nowhere to be found on the day of my interview. After making some additional phone calls I've learned that nitco's business acumen is the same as their hiring policies. Jacked rates, poor service with a management team that will tell you "We are expanding at an incredible rate and don't have time? to catch everything"

That gave our reserved forklift to someone else even after we confirmed that it was still being delivered the day before. Granite delivered a great 5k lb forklift within the hour.
