Middleton Farm Supply: what do users think?
Iamwhoiam M: Stay away! My poor old mare lost a lot of weight because I had to ration her hay because this guy kept promising that he would have hay, but every week he had an excuse (the hay was so bad he had to send it back… I think he used that one 3 times). I kept waiting and was buying a week’s worth at a time wherever I could while I waited. I picked up some second cut from Middleton at one point and it was not much better than first cut I had bought from somebody else. I bought some hay from one of his customers and when I told them that he never seemed to have enough hay she got worried about his reliability. I found a supplier in upstate NY and I have the space to store lots of hay so I’m going to buy it and then sell it to her. Its inexcusable that I have been trying to buy hay for over 6 weeks and he just kept stringing me along.
David Burnham: Very helpful with my silt fence supplies, I would highly recommend this place.
Troy Ouellette: Two separate entrances big enough to drive a 18 wheel tanker in and out of.
Jordan Aston: Some of the nicest people I've ever met, if they don't have something we need, they'll make sure they can get it ASAP.
Knone: Excellent service and pricing. Couldn't be a better family business serving these needs in the area.
Bob Sagat: Great business
andrew solheim: Best around
Mike Pearlman: We use them exclusively for Timothy hay for pet rabbits for years. It's always the freshest we've found. Much better than farm stands and other pet supply places we've tried over the years, and quite inexpensive.
John LeBlanc: Purchase our bird feed, hay and wood pellets from Middleton Supply. Always very friendly and helpful... Great value!
Melissa Witt: Best place to get your feed and hay. Great staff very helpful.
Jeffrey Moon: This is where I pick up supplies for my backyard chickens, including food and pine shavings. I also make my bulk bird seed purchases here. The staff is friendly and courteous and happy to help you load everything into your vehicle.

Pete's Grain Co: what do users think?
Alexis Tsapatsaris: Pete’s Grain always has something that I need for my dogs. Also, when I had rescue rabbits and chickens, they had all the supplies that I needed. Ana is knowledgeable and experienced and has given me excellent advice. They also have really nice plants. Highly recommend!
Luis De Melo: Great place. Ana a Loui are great people
Colby Standish: Always has a great selection of food options for our dog. I will continue to be a repeat customer here at Pete's Grain Co.
Boston Mom: Great place.
Michael Payette: Great place to get wild bird food.
Michael DiPietro: Anna is the best! Love coming to Pete's Grain. She's always willing to help with anything and is very helpful, intelligent and very friendly. Been going to Pete's Grain for over 6 years! Wouldn't go anywhere else!!
Reech Pune: They seem to have food for every creature there is and their minnows are the hardiest I’ve ever seen. Five star feed store for sure.
Angelica Perez: They have great food for chickens and also vitamins for them
Carol Bordeleau: Very nice people great variety
alexis karle: I find myself always going to the generic petsmart or petco for my pup supplies. I don't know why because it's always a hit or miss on finding what I need for a diabetic dog. Today I stopped in to a petsmart and low and behold they were out of her favorite... chicken feet. So I decided to stop into Pete's to see if they had any and not only did they have them but a variety of different single ingredient treats and foods. The owner was incredibly kind. I found out her mother hoped on a boat from Greece to the U.S. with 5 dollars in her pocket and a dream. A dream she accomplished in opening a pet supply business. I have so much admiration for the entire family and will without a doubt be back. I also think its important to spread the word about a gem like this so we can keep wonderful, small family owned businesses like this in our community always.
Melissa Sorbello: Love the owner! She is always helpful and kind.
Jake Cross: Rude service. Anna at front desk is confrontational. Anna attempted to claim not all parts of a UHaul rental were returned. Anna then admitted they ”hadn’t looked” after much back and forth, finally admitting they never gave us the “missing” part. Speaking with others, this is a repeat issue with Anna. Anna’s demeanor through the ordeal made it clear she was just trying to get some extra money.
phantom foxy: Always helpful & KindAnd Always has everything I need for All my Animals 🦆🐔🐕🐈🐤🐃🐄🐷🦌
jaymes aaron: Great Customer service & Always has The Healthy food I need for my Dog, Cats & Geese 🤗Recently went in and the place looks Great! Bright & Clean, They have done some upgrading and remodeling since I was here last month...👍💪Keep up the good work!! Looks Great!🐈🐕🐰🐣🐤🐥🐓🐔🦆🦆🦆🦆🌻🌼🌾
Katelyn Forbes: Amazing people who love animals and good prices
Lisa Parlee Carr: Filthy and just really never saw anything that level of filthy.
R.P. Tighe: They have just about any feed for any animal. The owner is friendly and helpful. Parking can get dicey so be aware of traffic. It's probably best to not come during rush hour.
Nathan Croteau: Had my puppy for 2 weeks. Came in to grab a few different types of food. Was greeted by the owner, who was extremely kind and knowledgeable. Left with a few items, but the owner was kind enough to provide me 10 FREE samples of different foods to figure out what my pup likes best. Please please please support this small business. Earned themselves a repeat customer.
Stephen Prochniak: Granted, I was not here for pet food. I was using their neighborhood dealer service to rent a U-Haul for my upcoming move. However the woman who helped me (and I'm embarrassed to admit I didn't catch her name) was so wonderfully helpful and polite. She assisted me with everything, all while balancing other customers who were there to purchase pet supplies. This is a wonderful local business, and I hope everyone will consider them.
pitdogfamily: Family atmosphere.Great price on the fancy dog food I needSupport local
Kathy Casey: Awesome place! I used to get hay from them to cover up my plants for the winter. They sell lots of dog and cat food of different varieties. Have free samples of cat food. The owner is a very nice person.

Maxwell's of Chelmsford: what do users think?
Daniel MacDougall: I love going here. The people are nice and answer all my questions about lawn and gardens. Great place
Flyboard SurfClub: Great service
Brian Henderson: Outstanding owners, vendors and shoppers. My Kinda Town 👍
Noel Powell: Great selection of flowers, birdseed, and an awesome winter farm market on Saturdays Nov-Feb
Tracy Qin: Nice people
Sodanech Sea: Very very limited selection of seed and plant!
Warren Wein: Fun garden center with loads of bird seed choices.
L L: DO NOT TRUST THEIR ONLINE "SHOP" FUNCTION FOR AVAILABILITY.....we made a list based upon what the website said was available and drove all the way from Framingham with a $200 shopping list.....the girl at the desk said "we don't have it" and then clarified "we put it under a tarp so I can't get to it". She said "I'm sorry".....but we wasted hours of time for both of us, shopping and then going to pickup. I would think that if it is on site they would want to sell it, but no "it is under a tarp." so she could not sell it. I guess they don't really need our business. (We spent hundreds of dollars there this year.) Grrrr!!!!!
Joanna DelMonaco: Great winter market in Saturdays.
Tara Tucker: Great locally owned store. Winter Farmers Market is great!
Ann Thomas: Nice folks, good selection and prices. Needs more business or it will get turned into McMansions!
Stanley Casey: Stopped in today for chicken feed and they didn't disappoint.Lots of outdoor flowers and vegetables looked great!
Eric Leshay: Great winter farmers market
Arnie Buck: Nice indoor farmers market.
Danielle C.: Winter 2021 Farmer's Market has been one of the best yet!
Kurt Dossin: Got the perfect Christmas tree there. Help is always super friendly. Love the Farmer's Market on Saturdays.
Laurie Plouffe: Nice selection of quality vendors. Bought fresh pasta, fresh homemade bread, some delicious hot sauce, some empanadas, sauarkraut pierogi, bagels, homemade English muffins. I never have bought so much from a farmer's market before. Definitely going to be a frequent visitor. Didn't even get to the whoopie pies, beer, seafood, or sweets before my money ran out.
Rosalie Prince: Awesome hoilday craft fare, however next year you might want to place the bagel vendor in different location. Unfortunately the line for bagels blocked some of the other vendors making it difficult to view their merchandise. Hosting lots of vendors, truly not a bad problem.
Andrea Howe: Love the variety!
lorraine johnson: Came for a farmers market. Nope.
S K: General nursery suppliesNothing exotic, typical for NE

The Pickard Farm: what do users think?
Raychel McHugh: I got my pregnancy photos here and they came out beautiful. We also bought so many pumpkins. The people that work here are so nice and we plan toCome back every year!
Peter Mcginnes: Is a scammer! Take your business elsewhere, wanted $550 a cord for wood, a fair price would be less than half that
Muhammad Matthews: Not the best experience for taking the kids pumpkin picking. All the pumpkins we saw were already dug up and laid out, oh yeah, bring cash, plastic not welcome. Staff was very courteous and friendly
Emily Serino: Well seasoned firewood, great customer service!
Stuart J: THE worse purchasing experience I've had in 9 years of buying firewood. The wife convinced me to pay extra based on Firewood Dan's promise of 2 year seasoned wood. What he dropped off was the mangiest pile of wood i've ever seen - uneven lengths, some not completely split (like 1/2 logs), some heavy and obviously waterlogged or not seasoned, all of it dirty. Even worse there were huge snowball chunks and dusting of odd white powder on much of the wood. When I called to ask Dan to rectify this he responds "ah that's just Lye" - as in the caustic powder that you shouldn't get on your skin(!) When pressed on the unsplit pieces and 24" lengths he said he'd come by and cut it for me... that was 2 months ago. Stay away from this scammer!
dj auger: I bought a half a cord of wood from Pickard Farm. good price and I was able to get it delivered and stacked at my house. Great to support a local farmer and get quality firewood.
J Anne: Good looking pumpkins! Very friendly people! Had a great stop off with the family. Thank you!
George: Called and got a reasonable price for 1/4 cord of wood...that was it as far as positives go. The owner (At least I assume it was the owner) had all the warmth of Anton Chigurh, but I could deal with his grunting out curt answers both over the phone and in person. I wasn't there to make a new friend, so I could live with the lack of any discernible customer service, as long as I got a good deal. Alas, that was not to be the case. When he had the wood in the bucket of the front end loader, he asked if I wanted it dumped in the truck or on the side so that I could stack it in my truck. In my giddiness of thinking he actually cared about my thoughts on anything, I almost told him to just dump it in the truck, but I had happened to get a glance of the wood in the bucket. When I told him I wasn't buying it because it was too wet, he said "What do you expect? it's been raining" I had already made up my mind at that point not to deal with this character anymore so didn't get into a discussion about what is acceptable wetness as compared to what was in that bucket. I just said I wasn't buying it and he threw his arms up as if to say "What the hell?" As I drove away to find wood elsewhere, I was happy to look in my rear-view mirror and see he was not flipping a coin! Btw, I have no doubt you can get good cord wood there and at a good price probably, I drove by some of it there in various stages of seasoning. For whatever reason though, the wood he was trying to sell to me didn't look as good. All I would recommend to people is to look at the wood before paying for it....and don't expect any "warm fuzzies" from the guy.
Caitlyn Boucher: I buy hay for my guinea pigs, here. It’s great hay, but the people who work there are disappointing. They don’t follow the hours listed on google, it’s hard to reach them and they’re overall not very nice. The first time I got hay it was $15, second time it was $20 and he tried giving me a very brown, not soft bale. Also, it’s very unprofessional and I usually have to “leave the money somewhere”. I ended up getting a different bale. If I knew of a different place to get quality hay, I would go there.
Keith Shaughnessy: I have purchased Hay and Firewood over past 15 years. Solid deals . keeps his farm clean and does a lot with pumpkins that kids seem to love. An overall big plus for the community
Allegra Calcagni: Terrible customer service, nobody around on property, when I called to ask about buying hay (it is very well advertised online, so I figured they were eager to sell) whoever I spoke to on the phone was very rude and short with me, told me I'd have to wait 10-15 minutes before anyone arrived at the property to sell me 2 bales of hay, so I left! If they hay was good I would have ordered 50 bales! Now I'm not ever going back.
Mark Richards: During a horrible ice storm, with no electricity for days, we were trying to stay warm by our fireplace. Needing more wood we drove to Pickard's, hoping for just enough to get us by for a few more days. Instead of compassion and flexibility we were curtly told that our only option was to purchase a full truckload. There would be no further discussion and no other option. That was almost 10 years ago, but was so unforgettable and unforgivable that, whenever I pass by that mess on 2A, the memory still stings. We chose to freeze.Perhaps Pickard's has since learned that goodwill and kindness to the community can go a long way, just as the lack of same can create a long, awful memory.

Jon Grabenstatter: First time in the store today. I was blown away with the service. A guy spent over 10 minutes helping us pick out simple vegetable garden fencing. When I learned they do power equipment sales and service I decided this place will be my one stop shop. I have been going to Wayland for power tools until now. Looking forward to buying a riding mower soon. I have no idea how the prices compare to other places but I am personally willing to pay more to ensure I get the right thing. It saves time and money in the end. Also, they hooked up my 6 yo with all the lollipops he could handle. Five stars.
Jim Pecora: Great place

Tractor Supply Co.: what do users think?
Ken B. (KenB): This year's (2023) quality of pellet fuel is very good. One thing has really improved. Everyone asks if you need help. I bought extra wood pellets dye cold weather after burning 2 tons. These were inferior wood pellets @$6 a bag. It leaves an odor not normally associated with hardwood which is what it was indicated on the bag to be. Finding a cart to load them on was not easy. It may be time to buy next winters supply from your regular supplier. If you can locate the quality at last year's price with an increase in delivery I suggest you do it. If was another product I'd give them 4 stars but product brings it down a notch. It's an annoying odor that leaves your throat scratchy. It's not COVID.
Tor Sykes: Excellent staff members and a nice store. The coleman utv400 is a fantastic machine and was reasonably priced. Gilyan Buxton helped me in completing my purchase. well-informed, quick, and efficient. Multitasking with numerous customers at once, as well as being pleasant, well-organized, and dedicated. Thank you once more, Gilyan Buxton.
Bryan McAuliffe: Showed up at closing needing to rent a trailer to use early the next morning. Not only did the two woman not give me a hard time, they were overly facilitating and friendly, even when the transaction ended after closing (due to my not having the proper equipment). Thank you for the great service!!
Misty Zannino: Great store great service
Ana Osorio: Great location in the small town of Pelham. Friendly staff and helpful
Massmudman Rubicon1: Always something new and great selection and prices.
Felixcuero@gmail.com Cruz: They ok has a lot agriculture tem
71chevelle 406: One of the best stores of it's kind, this location is great with a great staff .
Lisa Parlee Carr: Helpful and knowledgeable staff.
Jennifer Hart: Friendly service. They should take old propane tanks and come up with a way to recycle them
Amanda (Miss Amanda616): Fantastic customer service!!
TwoBuck Chuck: Friendly staff. Usually has what I'm looking for.
John Kingston: Always worth the trip
Cathy Cove: Amazing service!! We were last in a long line..associate came to OUR carriage and scanned us out!! So cool!! Love this!!
Lori Leonard: Always friendly& helpful
Ethan The Rollerblader: Wow! I love this place! The place was very clean, and have chicks! 🐥
rob barclay: Never been to 1 before, went looking for a product and wheeled a cart load out the door. Great prices, good place for pet supplies, friendly staff. 1 of my goto places now.
Tyler Ladebauche: Terrible experience at this store. Do not waste your money here. They sold me a 600 Auger for my tractor and the whole entire thing must have been sitting in water for months. Every nut and bolt is completely rusted and the paint was flaking off before we could even get it out of the box. Never though to inspect a brand new piece of equipment still in a box before buying it.The store manager was nice enough to offer me $50 off. No thanks....
Jessica M: Love this store. They have anything and everything.
Denis Carvalho: Called this place regarding a specific, product over the phone they said they had it in store, drove 55 minutes to get to the store and guess what, with no care for customer the same guy said. Oh no I told u i had other type. No respect for people.
David Shipulski: Management is terrible! You ask for help and they dont know where it is and are not willing to do anything more than say I don't know. The store is a mess things all over the place! The oil section never has any oil and starting fluid doesent exist. The manager is not helpful and seems to always be bossing around the employees around! Tried to order a landscape rake and got an email saying it arrived so I went to the store and they didnt know where it was! Some of the workers are great and some arent! The management needs to brush up the store and put it back together! I will start shopping here once they get themselves together but from now on Harbor Freight it is!
