Steven Flynn: It was dirty,, trash was everywhere,, broken glass etc., I had to watch every step my dog took just to make sure she wasn't stepping on or eating anything that she shouldn't have, I know its not the city and listen, im sympathetic to the homelessness but for the love of God, AT LEAST put trash barrels down there then maybe people would use them. I doubt it, but it's worth a try. Would be such a great place to walk my dog more often but I can't risk her health walking down there.
Blake Acton: A poor quality trail with beautiful scenery and a lot of unmet potential. The pavement is in pretty rough shape with too many deep grooves, holes, and debris that make biking uncomfortable. The access ramp from bridge street is completely eroded and from Aiken street is deteriorating. No lighting or benches and the trail on the west end just abruptly ends. I hope the city hasn't forgotten about this trail. It wouldn't take much to bring it to a more usable state. A repave of the two bridge access ramps and a smoothing out of the pavement would go a long way.
Lucia: Paved walkway along the merrimack, could use some trees along the route
Dib: This trail is abandoned by the city, scary and in absolutely bad shape. Could be a wonderful walk through the Merrimack River banks overlooking at all the industrial revolution constructions.
Niles (Alfie’s dad): Beautiful views of the old mills and the river. It has the potential to a truly wonderful path. It’s flat and paved but dirty. Great for jogging, sprinting, or biking with some really well done graffiti under the bridges
Lauren Bellis: I really like this urban walking path, but it needs to be better maintained. The path itself is flat and paved. There is a great view of the merrimack river to the south where you can view lots of different sea birds. There is also a stone wall and lots of bushes and trees where there are bunnies and groundhogs. There is unfortunately some trash in the greenery and it needs to be trimmed back in places.

Crab Cakes: Beautiful place to train, picnic, or whatever, but there are some people who smoke pot here and ruin it for others. Just be wary of that. There is wildlife I’ve encountered, such as rare fox sightings.
Steven Flynn: Pretty cool..to close to the street so we walked up the hill,,much better that way,, my first time there but ill be back for sure

Mike Livertovsky: Great place for a walk. Pretty big park with some nice trails and paths. You can venture into the middle of the area and climb to the top of the hill. Unfortunately there isn’t much of a view because of the many trees, but it’s still a nice relaxing place to explore.

Roy C White Jr: Good park, has grills for cooking, a child's play area, but I really like the exercise stations throughout the trails you can stop and perform the various exercises...the only negative here for me, is not enough clean up and cutting of the grass and trees in the spring and summer.

David Prestipino: I love it! I got lunch with the parents and we parked and ate together in the car! We watched the birds and the water and also people walking. Just a relaxing time!

Many benches, lots of open space & shady trees, small swimming area, areas for small gatherings & cookouts, performance stage area and U. Mass Lowell kayak ctr @ Belgrade boathouse. Or just fish from the river bank. Something for nearly everyone.
