Liz Cook: John Ward was absolutely amazing! I took 5 pages of notes - and this was a house in very good shape. He gave us ideas of what we should do right away, and what could wait a few years. He was thorough, patient, friendly, focused, and answered all our questions. We learned so much about what to look for in houses in general as well as this house in particular. Our (buyer's) agent said she has learned so much from John Ward over the years, and it shows as she has told us what to look for at open houses. And the listing agent was listening carefully too (and even texting her client for what to look for in their new house). We were all very impressed!

Veska Dobreva: Home buyers in the RI/MA area be wary! Home inspector Robert (Bob) Moore does not report major, illegal, not up to code home issues, nor does he bring them up to the buyers' attention! If you want an inspector who has your best interest in mind and not the sellers, do yourself a favor and think twice prior to hiring inspectors from this company! It might save you thousands of dollars!

John sometimes forgets that not all homes are new construction and treats all issues arising from an inspection as a major concern. He tends to put fear into the home buyers instead of explaining that some issues are minor and all issues can be resolved.Instead of letting buyers know that problems he encounters might not be as serious as they seem and recommend a licensed professional to check out the situation, John has the buyers assuming the worst of every situation which is not fair to not only the sellers but the buyers who are hiring him as well.

Frolicking Fido: Most of my focus over the last few years has been on my business and my house. Finding the house I felt right in wasn’t easy. Thank goodness I found a team of people to help me get a crash course on all the stuff I never wanted to know. John Ward looked at two of my choices with me. After just a few minutes it was amazing to see how much of an eagle eye he has! With the education he gave me I was able to avoid a purchase that in the long run wouldn’t fit my needs. Ultimately I found a house with good bones and something I could make my own. I would never advise anyone to buy without an inspection just to close the sale. It will cost you in the long run.
