Riverside Medical Group: what do users think?
Krystal Gail: I used to see a dr miniati, after she left, idk if the staff left with her because it’s a MESS. clear instructions are completely ignored. How can a Dr’s office not know how prior authorizations work? Admin staff speak over you, don’t let you get a word in and when you attempt to speak you are silenced by them transferring you and sending you to someone’s voicemail. When you use the portal to email them, clear instructions are ignored. I’m at my wits end, i’m so beyond frustrated with how the office staff is treating me.
T W: Docs and Nps are okay (not good or great, just acceptable) but other staff leaves something to be desired. Long wait times whenever you call. You get transferred around and if you leave a message it’ll take a while if you ever get a call back. Don’t even bother with their portal, messages remain “unopened” (yup we can see that as patients) for days and then no response is offered. Worst pcp group I’ve ever been with.
kelsi johnson: The employees are rude & disrespectful & have no patience. Horrible experience very unhelpful and they all need to lose the attitude or find a new job. Denise was especially disrespectful & hostile.
ashley grimes: I would like to commend Meghan who works in reception/medical record area. she is absolutely amazing and extremely helpful when I have not had the best luck looking for help in the medical field. she went above and beyond and deserves a raise! thank you again Meghan for truly being amazing and going out of your way for clients/patients.
Big Bill: Dr Sirakov and riverside medical group are great people and very efficient.., they follow up and genuinely care about their patients.
Wen Gu (wen): The office service is horrible and Dr Alexandra Miniati is definitely a doctor way too EXPENSIVE.They called me that my first appointment with Dr Miniati was Canceled ONLY three hours before the scheduled time and I didn’t get the phone call, so I ended up being at the office and then went back home. They never apologized for the last minute cancellation and the inconvenience that caused me.Then after my first time meet with Dr Alexandra Miniati, I told her my eye hurt a lot. She prescribed an eye drop which is not covered by my insurance AT All just after a simple eye check. That eye-drop, Olopatadine Hydrochloride Ophthalmic solution, USP, 0.1%, which is just for allergies and redness, cost me 247 bucks. I did a little research and found out that you can get the SAME thing everywhere without prescription (CVS Walgreens Amazon…)for 20bucks at max. I left a message at her office to ask her about the pricy eye drop and she never calls me back. And that 247 dollar eye drop didn’t work for my situation at all. My eye got worse and I can’t open it because it hurts like hell. I had to go to an ophthalmologist. The eye drops the ophthalmologist gave me, which you can’t get it without prescription, had a copay for 15 bucks and ACTUALLY worked.I am looking for a new place for primary care because I am too broke both financially and emotionally to be Dr Miniati’s patient.
Lynne Dery: The staff at Riverside Medical Group are extremely helpful. The receptionists are friendly and are always going out of their way when you call in accommodating you. I have been seeing Dr.Sirakov for many years and he is smart, a great advocate for getting you the services you need and really takes the time to listen. His medical assistant Cassandra, is particularly considerate and fast to answer any questions you have and makes getting help with instructions, referrals and needed paperwork ordered by Dr.Sirakov easy.
Erica Goroshko: Riverside medical group Has always been very accommodating with appointments and/or changes and following up promptly with testing results. The office staff is always pleasant to talk to. The entire practice of physicians is great although personally I feel Dr. Miniati is one of their best providers, as she is extremely knowledgeable, compassionate and thorough in comparison to other practices in the area. If they are accepting new patients and you were looking for a new primary care provider you will not be disappointed in your choice to join this practice.
Sheel Patel: Love this group! Especially Dr. Nanavati!!! They are all so professional and know how to make you laugh!
Nikita Naro: The staff was incredibly rude, didn't get back to me, and refused to let me to a consultation visit with one of their doctors to see if we would be a good fit.
Scott childress: Put me on hold and then hung up
Fran Granfield: Dr's are good with people. Business not so good. Push patients through to keep.making the mighty dollar. Shame on them as a company.
Sierra Milinazzo: Went here for a few years and the doctor is nice but the reception staff is rude and doesn't seem to really care about your existence.
Kristin P.: Dr. Petakov and his staff take excellent care of me. He is interested in your overall well being and treating any problems you have. Dr. Petakov is very caring and jovial, and he listens to you. If an urgent care problem comes up and Dr. Petakov’s schedule Is full, it can be addressed by one of his Nurse Practitioners, who are excellent. His support staff take care of billing, unlike the institution my husband goes to. Riverside Group is on top of these things. Thanks for taking good care of me.
John Griffiths: I have been with this group for nearly 8 years. I have Medicare Advantage insurance. What are all the alternatives of insurance accepted at Riverside Medical. I have no complaints what so ever. My PCP, Dr. Sirakov, and the office staff have been great.
costas koumpouras: Dr. Nanavatti is great. Helped me a lot and is easy to talk to! Will always be honest and open! I’d recommend to anyone!
Ruth Primeau: I have been seeing Dr. Clay and Ashley, the NP, for quite sometime now. They are both wonderful. They are very caring and intelligent ladies. Theyboth spend plenty of time with their patient. I am very grateful that my sister-in-law recommended that I start seeing Dr. Clay as my primary doctor.
Mary Dempsey: Very positive experience.I wish I could see my attending M.D. more often. The Nurse Practitioners and P.A.s are very well trained and very available. The clerical staff is helpful.
Josh Gillis: I was not asked to write a review nor did I at first intend to. I went to get the number to make an appointment and when I seen that the reviews here were negative I almost thought I was looking at the wrong site. I have been going here for 5 years now and I couldn't disagree more with the negative reviews with regards to Dr. Nanavati. I am not trying to downplay anyone's concerns that gave a negative review here but honestly if you read their own review most people I hope would kind of see through the negative reviews for what they really are and that's them not getting their own way or believing that their medical knowledge some how out ways the time spent in college earning and actual medical degree. I have sat in that waiting room in disbelief at how patient have treated the staff. You almost wonder if there is a hidden camera T.V show to see how you would react to others having a tantrum or yelling at staff. So here is my review.like I have said, I have been coming here for a little over 5 years. I have been a First Responder in this community for over 20 years and could comfortably say I have an idea about Emergency medicine as well as general medical issues. The staff here at Riverside are polite, greeting you with a smile and have gone out of there way to accommodate me on a few occasions. If your looking for a Dr who is going to give you medication you DON'T need or may not be beneficial to you down the line.. then Dr Nanavati is not your Dr. If you are looking for a Dr who likes to waste your time sending you for tests that in his experience see frequently and isn't necessary to give you the help you need, then Dr Nanavati is not the Dr for you. If you are looking for a Dr who is a yes man when it comes to your self diagnosis and what you think YOU need, then Dr Nanavati is not your Dr.BUT.. if your looking for a Dr who will listen to YOU who will do whats best for YOU, a Dr who is straight with you and tells you things that you may not want to hear.. like your wrong or you dont need that medication because of this reason.. then Dr Nanavati is the perfect Dr for you. There were plenty of times I too thought I had something different going on than his diagnoses or thought I needed something for him to flat out disagree . I opted to trust his medical judgement and to this very day I have not been able to prove him wrong! Dr. Nanavati has always done right by me and so much so that several of my colleagues as well as family now go there and feel the same way as I do.The only negative comment I would have is that sometimes your wait for a prescription to be sent to a pharmacy can be somewhat lengthy but again its a busy office
Ana D: They do not give the patient the attention they need, my father has been going there for a few years now to my surprise! I never write a review but I feel like I should help people save the headache and find a better place for a primary doctor. They are very incompetent at riverside!
Tyler Isabelle: Super unorganized staff. NO one working in billing!! They transfer you from line to line. Constantly on hold forever and then line goes dead. Doctors rush you out the door. Will stick it out until I have time to find a new doctor.

Lowell General Hospital: what do users think?
Jason Cross: Came to the ED for a heart issue concern. Was greeted promptly and was kept up to date consistently concerning next steps. Ended up being admitted for tests and observation. Staff was attentive. The Tufts app is convenient and keeps you up to date on your test results. This makes it much easier to be able to ask informed questions with your care providers. The food was far above expectations for hospital food and the service is customized, personal and prompt. For my own health reasons, I hope that I’m not a frequent flyer, but if I have to be in a hospital, this was as good of an experience I could have hoped for. Professional, courteous staff and modern facilities. Would not hesitate to recommend. A+
Noce: Several terrible experiences with the Hospital they are horribly disorganized and overworked. I would rather take the commuter into Boston even for an emergency! I waited 12 hours in the ER to be seen for heart related issues.. had to come back twice because they couldn’t find lab orders for blood another time..
susan santee: The wait time in Beetlejuice was shorter.
Mr. T: Been using this hospital for almost 30 years. Quite reasonable and professional. No serious complaints.
Alex DiPietro: I really wish I could give a ZERO STAR!!! They need to find a better staff I had a heart monitors, oxygen, and blood pressure cuff all attached to me. I pushed the call button in my room and waited for over an hour, and nobody came to check on me so I decided to unhook my self all the machines were going off, and I left down the hall to go to the bathroom, came back to the room and sat in my room and nobody came while I was at the bathroom because my husband was sitting in the room and said nobody showed up yet. We sat there and waited for over 20 minutes longer until i went out to track somebody down to re-hook me back up. There were three nurses sitting directly outside my room the entire time they were there when I went to the bathroom there when I came back and there when I went out to have somebody hook me back up, not even the nurses would come in to hook me back up. An EMT came in and did it instead Because not one of them moved when I ask for help. When I was outside my room there was a light that was flashing and lots of sounds that were going off in and outside my room because I was unhooked and not once did somebody check on me to make sure I was OK. I was extremely surprised considering I was in there because of my heart.
Deakins Keith: Right now the ER waiting hour is plenty for you to drive single trip from Boston to Philadelphia.
moyomie: Workers have an attitude and are in a rush. #badjob 👎👎👎 I rate 1 ☆ go to a better hospital with workers who truly care for you. They forced me to do things on my own while I was in pain #crippled + they gave me a bald emt person (I hate bald people) (he also has no eyebrows) #idontsupportcancerpatients #falopecia
Teerth Patel: Terrible wait times in the ED. There’s not enough doctors.
Susan Sweeney: I went to Lowell General after I was sent there by my Doctor because I was passing kidney stones and there was blood in my urine and it hurt to urinate. They kept me overnight and the floor nurse missed my vein therefore the machine kept going off after 3 hours another nurse changed the IV and she missed the vein as well and my machine rang all night and all morning , finally I pulled the needle out of my arm and went home and they said I left against Doctors orders. It was awful because my arm hurt so bad from them missing my vein and even my roommate buzzed them because she could not stand listening to IV machine beeping. And to make matters worse they said they would be in to change out 3x from 9 pm until 2 pm next day. What a nightmare hospital experience. I would go to Saints over Varnum any day. I would never refer anyone to Lowell General on Varnum ever. The lump and bruise after on my arm was horrid
Smerly Reynoso: If I can give a 0 star I will definitely do, If you really want good medical attention, I don't even recommend that you go to this place. I say this from my own experience. Every time I go they make me wait almost the whole night. I was in the hospital since 9:40 pm with pain in my chest and unable to breathe It was 2am and they still haven't seen me, I'm a pregnant person and they really don't give you the treatment you deserve as a patient These staff really don't care about their patients.
bethany laroche: Do yourself a favor....get air-dropped into a tent in an isolated part of very econimically poor or strife-ridden country....you'll get medical care....
Nash Bassey: Terrible terrible services. I was in the lobby for hours for my daughter. She was in so much pain. I had to live after waiting for sooooooooooooooooo long. Other parents were living in frustration with their kids. The management must be revised,
Eddie Quinn: My mom was sent to the ER by her doctor for chest pains, shortness of breath and light headedness with a history of atherosclerosis and diabetes. Her doctor knew it was a heart issue. She went to the ER and sat for 7 hours without seeing anyone. 7 HOURS...with those symptoms. She ended up seeing a cardiologist the next day and was rushed via ambulance into Boston for a triple bypass. We are now on hour two of waiting for post HEART SURGERY shortness of breath and tightness in the ER.This is unacceptable and the state needs to step in here.
Herculean G: The fat lady in the reception is so rude and doesn’t care to answer any of your questions. Painful wait time’s and no staff to deal with patients
Calvin Fritz: Sitting in the ER now for 5 hours waiting to be seen with internal bleeding! Looks like there are still 6 patients still ahead of me!! This place is the worst!!! Now 6 hours and waiting!
Julie Newman: I went to the ED for an eye issue that turned out to be harmless. The tech, nurse, and doctor were all so kind and never made me feel bad for being there. While long waits are expected in ERs nowadays, I really didn't wait that long. The tech who roomed me was very nice, the nurse was professional and kind, and the doctor was encouraging and really made me feel better about something I thought was terrible but was very routine. I thank all the hardworking staff at this hospital.
Mama Bear: Labor and Delivery & Pediatric Unit: Everyone at LGH was amazing from the person who changed my trash all the way up to the doctors. I cannot say enough good things about both this hospital’s L&D dept and pediatric unit. If I could give them 100 stars I would. My baby’s room in the pedi unit had a bed & a shower for me to use which was a huge plus. The doctors are privy to all the most advanced science. Delayed cord clamping is standard. Their lactation help is top notch as well. The only thing I didn’t like was that LGH doesn’t have a photographer who comes in to take baby’s hospital photos but that was no biggie because I did my own photos while we were there lol. I can’t say anything about the rest of the hospital but I can say that LGH is THE place to have your baby at.
Marina Wong: I had an elective test done before I moved down to FL. The doctor and the nurses were very nice and explained the procedures to me in detail.
Zafar Nizami: 6 hours ER wait and counting. The people ahead of me have been waiting literally 12 hours. How is this acceptable? Can you even call this an organization? I also don’t need the LGH rep commenting on this post telling me to call patient relations. Reform your hospital first. Never have I waited several hours to get seen at an ER. Unreal.
Dan Sloan: Great nursing staff. Could get rid of the useless paper mask mandates, but the nurses were very nice
B.Bhargav sreekaR: The worst kind of experience I’ve ever had in a ER. The reason anyone would visit ER is coz of the emergency. And irrespective of the emergency you’ve got the staff here are carefree and doesn’t even have the empathy factor they need when working in a health care. Had to wait more than 5 hours for my friend’s case of severe pain in the chest near heart. Recommended for people with great patience level and if you still got to visit this place better carry your phone charger, and essentials to continue with your sleep. The reviews speaks up for the hospital.

Dr. Zaheer Ahmed: what do users think?
Samvorleak Sok: Zaheer Ahmed he's rude..never listen to his patient, every time i go to see him, he didnt asking me what's going on. he's always get mad when i try to ask him some question about my health....he's act like I am not a doctor, he is the one and dont try to be smart. never recommend
Somony Heng: I'm not going to call him a doctor, cause zaheer ahmed, he not suit table to be a doctor! He's rude, doesn't have self control, couldn't control his anger and didn't listen.when I try to give him an update about my grandfather health condition, he said his job with me and my grandfather is done, and when I try to tell him I just want to let him know about it and he started to shouted at me, asking me what's grade i'm?I was so mad at that time...I told him to not speak like that to me, and then he start to shouted at me again for no reason! It make me so mad! I almost lost control with him. Didn't recommend that place!
Kay Calderon: The nurses are great. The Dr. however, is very rude. People go to the Doctors to feel better and find out what is wrong with them. Dr. Ahmed made me feel very uncomfortable . He was very rude, doesn’t really listen, Sees you for legit 10 if not less, he belittled me by saying I was a well I’m diabetic cause I’m fat women, sarcastically. Just a terrible experience each time I went. I would not recommend for anyone to come here.
K: Saw Dr. Zaheer Ahmed after having an undiagnosed illness that left me with chronic pain and fatigue. I brought in a ton of notes from other providers outside of his health system to give him the every clue to try and figure out what may have been ailing me. He looked at the notes and then gave me the diagnosis of anxiety and began to tell me that I was wasting health care dollars by booking so many doctors appointments and having providers do so many tests. He instructed me to take anxiety medication and go to a therapist. I didn’t give up my search and found another doctor who listened to what I had to say and diagnosed me with a rare blood condition which would have left my organs at risk for failure if left untreated. There are plenty of fantastic providers in the area, do not settle for Dr. Zaheer Ahmed.
Manzer Masud: Dr Zaheer Ahmed has been my PC for over 15 years, he is prompt in giving appointments and spends good amount of time listening to me and examining the medical reports. He is prompt in sending you to a specialist if there is a need. His office is nice and the staff is caring and efficient.
Shakirah Bradley: Wonderful doctor very thorough, and attentive!! Strongly recommend
rachael roeschlaub: Great doctor
Janey Conolly: This Dr shared priviledge information with my abusive ex boyfriend. He violated my HIPAA privacy policy. Do NOT trust him!
juliette agwe: The best primary care doctor I have had
Visal Chin: Dr Zaheer is my best primary physician and my clients’ physician as well. He’s very responsible and referred me to the right specialists I needed. Thank you Dr Zaheer for saving my life.
Got Dreams: Dr. Zaheer Ahmed and his staff has shown me nothing other the highest level of care and kindness. Would recommend him to all my friends and family!!
Joanne Diaz: I have had Dr.Ahmed for 30 yrs. Very happy. Staff is great
thelma lucas: he get no stars from me cause had he not kept saying i was borderline diabetic instead of being full blown diabetic i found out after i found a new dr he left me untreated im in kidney failure today because of him go elsewhere had to grab a star or id never be able to post this
King Kong: Ive had the doctor as my pcp for 2yrs and dealing with him had been very strenuous he disrespected my lifestyle as a young man in my early 20s calling me a drug addict for smoking marijuana and an alcoholic because i ocassionally drank on some weekends. Furthemore like other reviews ive read that sound REAL. He doesnt listen to your needs and has an attitude the minute he sees me in his office all the other ELDERLY clients he gives such love to and i wish i had the same experience but you can see they are just after insurance money. Every appointment went like this..Get in.. Sit in silence with the dr for legit 5 to 10mins as he scrolls around on his 65 inch computer tv.. And then when hes ready tell him the reasoning of my visit (must be 1 illness per visit, so if u have a back ache and a stomach ache u must handle the back now and the stomach later.. Weird right?)(all test results are never told over phone unlike other dr offices) the dr will either tell me he will help me or i have to "help myself" after exchanging a series of attitude and wits. We dont shake hands like we should as men and i make my departure dealing with the staff in front who are nice when they want to be.0 stars
Hanan Zaheer: One of the best doctors in the area. Has been practicing for many years and always treats me with kindness. He is very truthful and cares about all his patients.
Brooke Langlois: I love Dr. Ahmed. Anytime I go into the office I feel nothing but welcome and happy to see him. He is my favorite doctor and I have not one bad thing to say abou him or the care he has provided me for nearly 10 years. Highly recommend him for anyone looking for a great pcp. I always refer people I know that are in search for a new primary care doc!!
Bob Langlois: Dr Ahmed and staff are very caring and efficient Dr Ahmed is very good at is treatment and he is not afraid to send you to another physician or specialist if he needs to ,overall the Dr and staff members are passionate about the care of the my medical needs
Doraa G: The nurses are great. The Dr. however, is very rude. People go to the Doctors to feel better and find out what is wrong with them. Dr. Ahmed made me feel very uncomfortable . He was very rude, doesn’t really listen, Sees you for legit 10 if not less, he belittled me by saying I was a well rounded women, sarcastically. Just a terrible experience each time I went. I would not recommend for anyone to come here.
Abujuju: I visited the doctor office a while ago, but I still remember the experience since its not good.I remember I came complaining about cramping in my shoulder muscle. However, when he checked up and listened to my heart beat he ordered a cardio ultra sound which scared me because I was 30 years and in all my life the doctors I have visited before dr. Zaheer or after never ordered cardio US for me. When I did the US the result was normal there is no thing to be scared of. Later I think he wanted to take advantages of the ensurance. He didn’t listen like other doctors I visited do and talked about political things that happens in my home country which is not his business.
Natalie Coy: Sum it all up, for a Doc's office, great waiting area, after Nurse takes vitals you sit in another seating area to Doc Ahmed comes to greet you and off you go to your room, for you evaluation on whatever it is you are there for. Dr. Ahmed, also runs a serious of tests on you depending I am sure of your need for care. AWESOME DOCTOR. I AM VERY HAPPY, CARING DOC
Yamashita Family: Excellent Dr,Staff very efficient.
