Liam Gately: Dr. Velez is a miracle worker. Came in with sever TMJ unable to open my mouth more than a centimeter. Dentist had told me I would need Botox shots to fix it. Got an adjustment and had full mobility and no pain within the day. Absolutely recommend Baystate to anyone in pain. Dr Velez is great and treats his patients with care.

Joe Lombard: The Dr. and the whole staff are very kind and caring. I feel better each time after I leave. The place is clean the people are nice and the service is fast what else can you ask for.

Arijit Jana: Dr. Valez is by far the best doctor I have ever been to. He goes above and beyond at each and every visit. Not only does he listen to you, and helps relieve you of pain, but he also teaches you about what is causing the pain, and how to correct it, both at the office, and when out in everyday life. I've lived with pain for years and have seen many other doctors, but all of them just did the adjustments in a matter of minutes, with no explanation of what was causing the pain. Dr Valez, however, will take time with you to discuss what is the root cause, and discusses ways you yourself can change daily habits to not be in so much pain. I've had bad posture for years which I thought nothing of, and he was able to quickly diagnose what I needed to do in my daily life to correct the pain, along with a good set of insoles. His goal is not to see you each visit when you are in pain, but to see you each visit making progress with being in less and less pain, with the overall goal to see you living a pain free life. I cannot recommend him enough, he and his staff are simply incredible and puts all of their patient well being first.

M E M: Today was my first time here, and I will be returning. Staff is very professional and the Dr. is knowledgeable and conscientious. He listened to my needs and complaints, I left there feeling much better! The location is situated in downtown, park across the street(can’t remember the name of garage),but it’s nice that they pay for parking spaces so your parking ticket will be validated. Already scheduled my 2nd appt. Awesome!!

Jeremy Minsk: I started going here a year ago because of some pretty intense back pain that I felt while driving and doing chores around the house. Since then, I switched professions and started doing construction (which is way more intense on my back), and yet thanks to Dr. Velez, my back pain has all but disappeared. I HIGHLY recommend him.Just a couple of notes:-- He doesn't just "fix" you. He expects you to do some work yourself: stretching, drinking water, minor lifestyle changes, etc. If you don't do the stretches, he'll get on your case a little bit, and I can sometimes feel like, "Dang, Doc, would you just adjust me and let me be?" But I really like this because it shows that he cares not about the money he could get from you coming over and over again for adjustments that only treat the symptoms, but he cares about really treating the underlying issues.-- I've mostly gone on Saturday mornings, so perhaps this only applies to that time period, but the office can be pretty crowded and understaffed and I sometimes experience wait times between 15 to 30 minutes before being seen. Maybe that's different at different times of the day and week.With all that being said, I have no reservations about giving Dr. Velez five stars. I originally went here because of all the five star reviews he had, and after a year at Baystate Musculoskeletal I've found that they're all true.

He is always going to classes and reading books to learn the newest techniques and newest products to help his patients live a more pain-free and comfortable existence. Jim Crear: I had surgery on both of my knees several years ago. Over the past few years the knee pain has started again affecting how I do things. I visited Dr. Velez to see what kinf of process he knew about that copuld ease the pain for me. He used some massage and then placed in a starange pattern some special tape for me to wear for a few days. To my surprise within a couple of days the pain subsided, and now has neasarly fully disappeared. I will now see him to increase the mobility as I was earlier not doing while in pain. THANK YOU! Dr. V is efficient and yet thorough - spending as much time as needed with each patient and often treats several at the same time depending on what their needs are. I have had appointments go quickly, in and out in 20-30 minutes, and others I've been there for 2 hours. I've never spent more than 5 minutes in the waiting area during any visit. I drive about an hour from NH to see Dr. V and have recommended him to numerous family members and friends who report having similar experiences. He even answers his phone during non-office hours when one would typically expect an answering service or message machine. On two occasions he came in on his day off to alleviate pain and maintain continuity of treatment. I am a doctoral level practitioner myself and recommend Dr. V without reservation. He is an outstanding provider as well as a humble human being.

Aaron Blake: I’m giving this place 5 stars for the following reasons:#1 being, they got me back up and standing sturdy within a few days and feeling 100% after 6 visits within 2 weeks. I have old sport related injuries and years of carpentry abuse. My insurance from the union covers 20 visits a year with a $15. copay and you don’t need a doctors referral to have it covered. Very kind and knowledgeable staff that do not have personalities of toads.

My work schedule is super busy since I work in surgery. They have accommodated and have been very flexible with my schedule. For example if I couldn’t make the appointment I was able to reschedule with no issues. They don’t make you feel like a bad or irresponsible patient like some other offices do! Dr. Trish is like thee best doctor I have ever met along with Dr. Broderick! I feel great after each visit because they just know what they’re doing. Andrew Moran: Central street Chiropractic is absolutely amazing. The staff are super friendly and the doctor is extremely knowledgeable. After meeting with them he sent me to get some x-rays done on my spine. When the results came back he explained to me the injuries in my neck were more like the source of my shoulder pain. I'm 31 and have been suffering from chronic daily immobilizing shoulder pain. The doctor gave me an adjustment and I couldnt believe how much relief and mobility I had gained. Im not exaggerating when I say I almost cried. I must have thanked him 30 times. This place is unbelievable and they even accept mass health insurance. I would recommend anyone and everyone go there and see if they can help you feel better like they did for me.

Christian Fletcher: When I initially called they told me they take Fallon Wellforce insurance (Mass Health) over the phone and required a refferal from the primary. I was very optimistic about the treatment there. The doctor was thorough with xrays and analysis. He explained to me that my situation was very serious... Every time I was in there for four visits I went in the doctor used high pressure tactics to get me to pay ahead. One plan was about $950 and the other was about $1500. The last time I went in he didn't think I had insurance. I told him I already dealt with this with the secretary and my primary sent over the referal. I told him that I was told by his receptionist that my insurance would cover 20 visits. The doctor's response to me was if I did not pay ahead he did not think the owner would go along with it! They were demanding for something like a retainer! I told him I would not pay ahead. It is a bait and switch tactic to get Mass Health Customers in then pressure them to pay more once you are in there. Beware of this business!

Erica Puccio: After 6 months of seeing Dr. Daigle and his team at Central Street Chiropractic, I can say I feel like a new person. I started seeing them in late January with chronic neck and upper back pain. Both chiropractors developed a plan that was aimed to fix my injury and correct years of damage. We started with daily exercises, traction, laser therapy and adjustments 3 times a week. By March, I was sleeping better, I noticed more energy at the gym, I was able to workout longer and we were down to visits twice a week. By April, I had minimal pain, and in May, I officially went to maintenance visits. I can now say after 2 months of maintaining, I am pain free. I can finally sleep comfortably through the night, and able to make it through an entire shift without an ache or thought of my neck and back.They have helped me correct years of terrible posture and bad back behaviors so I can live a comfortable life!Dr. Daigle, Dr. Bill, Katie, Janet, and Carol, I cannot thank you guys enough!

After seeing my xrays they used the scare tactic to get me to sign a contract for 5000 dollars.i told them I didn't have that kind of money but they kept pushing. I was in so much pain. I just wanted some treatment to help me feel better.they wouldn't treat me.they just wanted their contract.i left pissed and in a lot of pain.so I drove the hour to see my doctor . 30 minutes and 35 dollars later I was feeling so much better.and my doctor said my pain wasn't even coming from that particular area that central st focused on.this place is a scam.im feeling much better and I've spent 100 dollars total.

They are very accommodating to your schedule as well.My only disappointment is that it's in downtown and I have a hard time getting to and from there. Caroline Crompton: I spent the last three months coming to Therafit. This is the third physical therapy clinic I've been to in the last three years and by far my favorite. I would recommend this clinic to my family and friends.The first time I walked into the office, I noticed the front desk staff were very welcoming and helpful. I was really impressed with all of the equipment and space available for patients. There are a lot of treatment rooms and the open gym is not cramped at all. One of the most exciting parts of the clinic is the heated pool where some patients do their exercises. Many of the therapists are also dry needling certified- the only other therapists that I have personally met with this certification were outside of New England.All of the physical therapists are fantastic but Danielle went above and beyond for me. She is very knowledgeable with ten years of experience as a PT. I am the type of person that asks a lot of questions and she answered ALL of them. It is clear that she sees a lot of patients in her day but she was never too busy to give me the time that I needed. One of the many things she helped me with was my jaw pain. I've had a chronic TMJ disorder for the past 10 years and seen chiropractors, dentists, and osteopaths. She dry needled my jaw and I immediately saw an improvement in my ability to open and close my mouth. 🙁 - 😄 Going forward I know that if I need the help of a PT, I can count on Danielle!

Eric Groves: My wife and I have been clients of Therafit for over three years. We were drawn to them because of recommendations our dear friends of 50 years gave us. The trainers we’ve worked with there have been super and they’ve helped us achieve the improved balance and core strength we were looking for.My regimen necessarily changed in December when I had a full hip replacement. Because of that I began working with a physical therapist who’s been employed there for over 10 years. Her name is Danielle Philipp and she has been wonderful to work with. She’s helped me with my return to walking, my balance, and my lower body strength. She’s always pleasant and always punctual and prepared. She comes to each session with an improved plan that builds upon our previous one and that challenges me so I’m always moving forward. Raheela Rahman: Stephanie gave me my life back. I’m not exaggerating. I’ve been living with pain for so long I didn’t think I would ever get better. Stephanie helped me prepare for a difficult surgery and helped me through the recovery. I have never had a physical therapist who is so detailed in her explanation of body mechanics. She is able to pinpoint exactly what movements I am doing that worsen my pain, and provides corrections that lessen it. She is patient, thorough, and listens carefully to my concerns. Therafit is also the only PT office I’ve encountered that has a pool and offers aquatic therapy. It’s low impact and allows for a greater range of motion and tolerance for workouts than on land. It made a huge impact on my recovery. I can’t recommend Therafit enough to anyone who needs physical therapy.

Once I moved out to gym exercise s it was difficult at first but the physical therapists and their assistants helped me every step of the way. Therapist is a great place to go. Walt Esker: I have constant pain in my shoulder for the last 20 years. I have had 3 shoulder surgeries and been to physical therapy, acupuncture, yoga and a chiropractor in addition to doing my only work in the gym doing my PT exercises over this period of time. But, I have not been able to gain much in the way of pain relief or range of motion. A family member recommended I try dry needling. I made an appointment with Courtney at Therafit. I am happy to say that it is having a meaningful and positive impact on my quality of life! Simple things like reaching for something above shoulder height or trying to reach behind by back were difficult and painful. Sleeping was worse. During my visits, Courtnery manipulates the shoulder area looking for knots and painful areas. She inserts the needles and starts the treatment. After each session, the identified area of pain was gone. Between visits, I could see improvement in range of motion, pain relief and improvements in sleeping. Over the course of a number of visits, she was able to address several different pain areas in the muscle and tendons. She expertly diagnosed problem areas and went after them.Right now, there is no pain reaching above shoulder height, I can reach behind my back much better and I am sleeping much better. It has been 2 months now and I am maintaining and still gradually increasing my range of motion. I am so excited about this treatment. It has significantly improved my quality of life! I want to thank Courtney for her skillful use of this treatment to unwind 20 years of trauma and pain! I could not be happier with these treatments and would recommend this to anyone feeling like they are stuck with muscle and joint pain!
