Gagnon Lawnmower Services: what do users think?
Chuck ???: Outstanding...
Matt Phelan: I called an left a message to get my snow blower to start after not winterizing it properly, and to get my reverse gear fixed. I was told its 70 dollars for pick up, and return and that I would receive a price for the cost to repair. The next day comes, and he tells me that my snow blower is ready and it will cost 430 dollars. He took it upon him to: A-: fix anything without my approval before contacting me with a price- B: he also took it upon himself to replace skid plate, tubes, replace the oil, (fill tires, which he really made out to sound like a difficult and strenuous thing to do)- These are all things I do on my own., When I asked him about this he accused me and said I never asked for him to tell me a cost before doing any work, which was a lie. He also started to accuse me of messing with my own snow blower, and replacing it with fake parts. The only thing I have done is self maintenance, cleaning and putting everything back as is. He then tries to tell me the the bowl for my carburetor can only be purchased in China- but yet its on Amazon for 7.99. Lastly- he asks me where I bought it- I told him home depot. He insists I am lying, and that home depot does not sell Troy Bilt snow blowers. I have everything on camera and audio proof. Once i told him I am taking him to court his tune changed. This guys is a scumbag- I wouldn't trust him.
gloria glory: Positive:Professionalism
Denis Marchand: Don has been in business over 35 years and is talented in many fields.automotive and towing with large rigs.bodywork.his family's hardware business etc. Don and I go back to grammar school days.he is very good at all that he does but is semi retired but still capable. But don't waist his time is all he asks of the general.public.honest and extremely dependable.
Mike Desmarais: He tuned up my mower in a day. Nice guy. Just don't drop of equipment without talking to him first.
David French: Critical:Professionalism
Rebecca Shanahan (KWMCAngel): If you want a super friendly, kiss your butt customer service person - this isn't the guy for you. If you want good work, done quickly at a fair price, then this is your person. He will educate you on what happened, will diagnose for a fee and will repair for labor and parts. He is a lost art, the art of fixing something instead of throwing it out and buying a new one.
Ynitsed Nonya: I'm giving it 5 stars because of what I've heard about it and because of the person I spoke to on the phone I will revise this when I have my work done there and but you know more as that time but as of customer services goes five stars
Fred Marion: I called him ONCE. Very rude.
Michael Frobese: Went in to ask about tractor repair and he walked away from me in mid sentence. Not a people person to say the least could not comment on any work because he didn't let me tell him about it or offer to fix.
John Giordano: been there. the work is good, the service is good, but they do not have time for monkey business. do what you need to do, and let the people operating the business do what they need to do. the guy that wrote the first review sounds like a jerk.

Ed's Lawnmower Service: what do users think?
Tim McMahon: Best shop around been bringing equipment there for 20 + years and never had a problem with all of the equipment that I have!
Gregory Rich: Friendly staff, fair prices for good work. Been using Ed's since we moved to Tyngsboro 17 years ago. They've been taking care of our snow blower all this time, and I've never had any complaints. Great little local business!
Keegan's Workshop: Five star experience
Melinda Gordon: Great place, great people.
Corey barlow: Won't return my calls. Left a voice mail with a pretty standard small engine repair. Said my number twice in the message 🤷‍♂️ people don't seem to answer the phone or return calls these days in any field. But they sure do respond to these.
Kevin Schmidt: Great prices. Friendly mechanic. Very responsive. They took the time to explain what was wrong with the engine. I will definitely recommend Ed's Lawnmower service to others. The work I had done was on a Craftsman lawn tractor. The engine needed the head replaced since the valve would no longer open.
Paul Silveira: Great shop. Took my new mower for the break in oil change and sharpen blades. Kenny really went above and beyond! My first experience there was awesome!
JfkExperience4U: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueJust bought a new Ariens snowblower at eds lawnmower last weekend and couldn’t be happier. Highly recommend!

Mike Maynard Lawn Mower Repair: what do users think?
Steve Kennedy: Mike is thorough and VERY knowledgeable. He can tell you more about your snowblower from your description of it and troubleshoots possible repairs based on his extensive experience from your initial call. He explains everything he does and why plainly and calmly and restored our snowblower to working condition very quickly. The fast turnaround, low cost for what seemed would be a lot of difficult repairs was a sign of his integrity and fair pricing. He does an amazing job and respects his customers.
Patrick Moquin: I have been working with Mike for a lot of years on both my John Deere lawn tractor, Arien snowblower and push mower. My Arien snowblower was made in 1968 (54 years old. I graduated high school in 1967!). I brought it to Mike this year because it felt like it was on its "last legs".Mike was able to figure out what was wrong (carburetor was falling apart and had to be rebuilt) right away. Picked it up today, and it is running incredibly well!I have found Mike to be honest, dependable, and very reasonable in his pricing. I do not typically provide testimonials, but in Mike's case, it is a no brainer!
David Goodchild: Mike saved my life and my lawn this morning. I was in desperate need and he walked me through opening my engine and cleaning out a mouse nest obstructing my starter and flywheel. He saved me hundreds of dollars and got me back in the seat the same day!
Tina Botti: Responsive, super reasonable prices, and overall great guy! Will be my “go to” for regular maintenance on my lawn mower going forward for sure
Jonathan Bibeau: Mike is absolutely amazing and fair. He came to my house and picked up the snow blower and fixed it for a fair price. After purchasing a new/used snow blower from him and it having some problems, he fixed it at no cost. I am very happy with this service and he is highly recommended for all snow blower and lawn mower work!
Ludwig Heil: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,Value
Carlos Pérez: Positive:QualityGreat job on my lawnmower, after so many issues with it, mike fixed and now is starting like new
Gary: Positive:ProfessionalismCalled Mike asked about a part needed instead of giving the run around ( bring it in , let Me check it out , Id have to See it etc. ) He explained what the Problem might be so I could try and fix it Myself . Don't Get that much now a days . Thank You Sir .Gary V
Bill: Critical:Value$36 for a part that is $23.78 at other shops he could do$30 cash no thanks it is $12 on Amazon I buy from local shops but not try to be robbed
Rich Curry: Positive:QualityMike fixed my rider mower. He did a great job at a very fair price.
William Drake: UPDATE TO MY FIRST REVIEW 10 MONTHS AGO: Mike remains a man of high integrity. My old MTD Yardman mower - now 22 - needed new blades, oil/filter change, ... the works. I had been home for no more than an hour when Mike called back. My MTD did NOT need brand new blades, they could be sharpened saving me $$. He said I ALSO didn't need a new air filter (more $ saved) but the "pre-filter was shot". The work was done at a fair cost and ahead of schedule. Mike Maynard's "word" means something. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND him to anyone needing lawnmower/snowblower repair. ***** MAY 2020: I took my 21-year-old YardMan MTD riding lawnmower to the County Store Engine House repair. The mower deck belts broke suddenly while mowing. I also knew I needed two new blades and asked them to replace the blades while it was in the shop. You have to pay $25 nonrefundable to even get County Store techs to look at your mower. A week later, I got the estimate: $425.00 to $450.00. They said they estimated it would take between three and four hours of labor. And, It would be two MORE weeks before I could get the mower back. It seemed outrageous to me. Turns out, it was. Mike Maynard said he would look at it and it would be an hours labor tops. Four days later Mike had my mower back with new belts and new blades. One hour of labor. I had run over a piece of tarp which found its way into the mower deck and broke the belts. There was NO mention by the County Store Engine House guy that I had sucked up that piece of tarp. They just pocketed the $25 without even LOOKING at the cause of the problem and pulled the 3 to 4 hour Labor estimate out of thin air. Mike Maynard is an honest man. He talked me OUT of replacing the YardMan drive belt. He has a ton of good reviews online and I can see why. I will only take my small engine repair work to Mike Maynard in the future.
Jacqueline Cronin: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueMike checks all the boxes; quality work, extensive knowledge, reasonable pricing and response time. Great guy!
Lee Cee: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,ResponsivenessMike has been servicing our lawn mower and snow blower for about two years now. Made our old snow blower look new and run like new. For the first time in years we were able to start it with the plug cord. He is professional and courteous. Already had our mower done!! I would highly recommend.
Lenny Stamas: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueMike was great. Very responsive and great work at a fair price. Highly recommended.
William Dube: Mike does an excellent job! He tells you how much a job is going to cost, and explains it. He is a Man of integrity! Very trustworthy and honest! I Highly recommend His Business!!
Angel Wolf79: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueMike the owner knows his lawnmowers and snow blowers he is great at what he does and his prices are fair I would recommend him before anyone else
Michael Pelletier: Prompt friendly courteous service
Ron Stevens: Extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I had called him because I had a lawn mower that sat all winter and I could not get it started. He advised me over the phone to check to be sure all safety switches were closed. I had forgotten that the rider had to be sitting on the seat for safety or the mower would not run. He could have just picked it up and charged me but he did not. Extremely honest and trustworthy. A true professional and someone I will use for any small engine needs and highly recommend him to others.
debra bailey: Brought our Troy Built lawnmower for service. Excellent service and very knowledgeable. Very friendly and pricing very fair. Highly recommended!
Jit Patel: Fair price, great professionalism. Mike was honest about what to expect in terms of repair cost and shared important periodic maintenance information. He also offers pick up and delivery with additional charge.
Jim Miles: This is the best place to purchase or have service your power equipment. Mike is as honest as the day is long. The most helpful man. Go see Mike Maynard, you will be VERY happy.

Ryan's Lawn Mower & Small Engine Repair: what do users think?
Matt: Avoid at all costs! I dropped off a power washer and didn’t get a call until 3 WEEKS LATER saying he couldn’t fix it. Would’ve been nice to have been told earlier so I could’ve found somebody else to fix it. Very rude when dropping it off, seemed like he had no desire to fix it.
Thomas George: The one is very good he's reasonable prices if you have a question he'll answer it for you he'll say it apart even if he doesn't fix your snow blower or lawn mower he'll still sell you the party's a great guy I'll always do business with him
Tara E: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueThank you for fixing up our snowblower in such short time prior the this past storm. I appreciate you also for being honest and charging us for the work that only needed to be done. Definitely recommend and honest work.
Dan Germain: Prompt service! And not only does my lawn mower run great but it looks better than when I dropped it off! :-)
Dawn Carvalho: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueBrought my mower in on Friday an it was ready on Tuesday. Quick response and reasonable rates.
Gail Ouellette: Came next day a picked up my lawn tractor. Dont have it back yet.
Rob Caron: Ryan's is great, I recently had some work done here and they were reasonably priced and relatively quick to get my machine back to me.
sean alaimo: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueNice people. Had what I needed and price was fair. Will definitely recommend
Stephen Hewett: Positive:Professionalism,ResponsivenessExcellent service at a great price
george warner: Great knowledgeable service probably the best in Merrimack Valley.
Anthony Poretta: The gentleman at the desk was pleasant and informative.
Frankie Bonet: Wish it was closer to Lawrence
William Robinson: Everything was great
Matt Stroika: Fast and great service. Pickup available.
Joe LaRosa: Great place to get your snowblower a lawn mower tuned up
Adam Cox: Great service.
John Billington: Had a very positive experience getting my mower fixed . Took less than a week and prices were reasonable for tune sharpen and fix. The place is professional and they are a full time motor shop - not just some guy in his garage.
Ricky Rosado: Brought my backpack blower their and he stayed 10$ from what he told me and had it running in a week he also added a new cap for me I didn’t ask for I was pleased with the service .. Thanks
Paul Jarzobski: Horrible, disrespectful, dishonest, poor workmanship, place to do business with. The guy took 3 weeks to service an ice auger. Didn’t Change the carburetor like he said he would and glued the old one back together. He dulled the blade so bad it wouldn’t cut ice at all. Ran terribly after he was done with it. He rushed me off the phone. Wouldn’t tell me what was going on with it. Then charged me half of what the auger is worth. This guy is a disgrace to professionals.
Dan McColm: Great service
Alberto Rodriguez: Has fixed both my chainsaw and log splitter. He just lacks social skills. If he had a receptionist he would get a lot more customers. He can fix anything with a motor, keep up the good work.

Lemieux's small engine and marine repair: what do users think?
Greg Cyr: Snowblower issue after first storm. Called a few places and Lemieux was the only one to pick up the phone and come out the next day as he said he would. Took care of the issue in a timely manner and stands by his work. Highly recommend!
Shilpi Ranjan: My snow-blower had stopped working last year - with broken belt and engine issues. Also, the front was all rusted : My option was to add this old equipment to the trash pile or try to get it repaired. Lemieux looked at it and said he could weld a plate to the rusted front and repair the rest.He got it working just in time for the snow this month and it worked well.I highly recommend this small business.
Amy Foote: We've been bringing our small engines to Joey for years. Joey is very knowledgeable and is very persistent to find a resolution to any problem. I highly recommend Joey for any small engine repair.***Note to public***Pay no attention to Linda's review she is a disgruntled ex wife that is still trying to take Joe down she needs to just move on...take notice of the last name
Kimberly Brousseau: Great service and very friendly!! Highly recommend!
Linda Markham-Lemieux: Worst person ever, if you want your things fixed bring your snowmobile’s in the summer and your lawnmowers in the winter and you might get your equipment back.
Jordan Phelps: I have taken my small outboard engines to Joe for years. Good, down to earth, guy who is very knowledgable about all types of small engines and reasonably priced.

Little Mower Shop: what do users think?
Megan Chester: I'm so lucky to have found Bob! He answers phone calls on the first ring and was very flexible with scheduling a time for a house call. He not only repaired the broken part on my snow blower but showed me how to better use it. Bob was incredibly patient, kind, very knowledgeable. He's also a dog lover, he welcomed a greeting from my curious pup!
randy miselis: Bob was able to provide same day service to service my snowblower on site at home. He provided the standard service and addressed several other issues he found during his inspection. Blower is running great
John Cronin: I called Bob after I bought a used snowblower. Who does house calls… Bob! He was on time, super knowledgeable, and a very kind person. He had all the issue taken care of in no time, his prices are very reasonable, and a pleasure to work with. I will be passing his contact information to all, without a worry. Bob is a master, so lucky to have found him, a real gem of a guy!!
Ian Burk: No idea what happened. Used them for 5 years with no issue. When I called them to schedule for my snow blower all courtesy gone, was told I have the wrong number they don’t service my area and they hung up. When I called back I was told they changed things in the summer and they don’t service my town anymore.
Angela O'Dowd: Bob was very easy to work with. I called him yesterday, he picked up the phone right away and we booked him to come over today. He arrived right on time and fixed our mower in under an hour. Very convenient. Would recommend.
Mark Sturgis: Probably one of the oddest experiences I have had with a company. I called after a positive recommendation and made an appt. He did show right when he was expected. The odd part comes when after maybe 15-20 min passes and I get a Ring alert and noticed his van left. Ring showed he set up his work space, flipped the mower over then very soon after drove off without fixing the issue. I got a phone call and when I answered I was hung up on. I called back and he “said who’s this” a little rude, I said my name and that you just left my house. He said “yah bring it to where you bought it, they do good work” and click hung up. I was getting a tune up, new blades and to look at my self-propel sys. Never explained why or what or anything. Communication is clearly not strong with them.
Kathleen Low: So happy with this service. Bob did a great job tuning up our push mower and he came right to our home. Very convenient. Will definitely use him again.
Joel Simes: The owner Bob is extremely rude and unprofessional.
Celestino Basile: Don't waste your money or time on this guy. I made an appointment, he never showed up. I called several time after that nobody answered. A true loser.
John Shaw: He Did a full tune up(no receipt) and installed new carb(Amazon special) used twice and was running poorly, so called for a visit. He showed up with a nasty attitude and said you need a new carb. Then with an attitude says I’m not replacing it because you messed around with it! If I knew how to do that I wouldn’t have called you I said. Again with an attitude says with those mini bikes you have your gonna say you didn’t touch it. Mini bikes are brand new and for my grandkids . Then says again I’m not getting you a carb and storms off. This is from a man that has to be paid in cash and gives no receipt of services rendered and doesn’t back up his work! People beware he is a scammer!
A. C.: Critical:Professionalism,Quality,Value
John chumah: Owner came to my home in the morning for an afternoon appointment. After trying to ask owner what time would I be expecting him to come back in afternoon since I was not home I was told “I’m not coming back it’s cold outside” and hung up on. Not sure if my accent made him frustrated but I can tell this guy doesn’t prioritize customer service. Went to call the office and receptionist responded it’s the owner who went out to your home it’s not much I can do. I agreed and said no need for your service.
John Chamb: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueGreat experience. He was on time, very friendly, organized and got the snow blower running in very short time. Far better than bringing it somewhere and waiting for a call. Price was below the shop minimums I had been quoted elsewhere for them just to look. Definately a number to keep on hand.
nital patel: Bob will perform services on site. A snowblower tune up was $175 and took about 20 minutes. He takes cash, check, or card. You are not provided a receipt or summary of service, but no complaints here.
Drew Cahill: Critical:ProfessionalismThis is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. Had them scheduled 3 times, called to confirmed and they said we were on, and then after our appointment slot they said we called and canceled. They will start to yell at you when you call to see where they are. DO NOT CALL THESE PEOPLE.
Allie Gee: DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM. They never showed up for the appointment made by my boyfriend so when I called to see if they were coming or not they said we weren’t in their system and they would call me back. They called my boyfriend back (thought we weren’t in the system?) and said we canceled the appointment (WE NEVER DID) and had to reschedule. Fast forward to our next appointment day two weeks later they never show again. Called the girl to see when they will be here, gives her our info and she puts me on a three way call to the repair man (Bob) who says we need to find a new service provider because we’ve canceled the appointment three times. Again, we have never once canceled the appointment. Then my boyfriend calls minutes after me and asks if we’re still on the schedule for today. The girl says “Yes, we’ll be there later on”. I called back and the girl I talked to earlier starts yelling at me saying “I never said that”.I’m not sure what kind of business these people are running but I have literally never had to deal with such incompetence in my life. So if you want to waste your day waiting around all day for them to come (TWICE) while your lawn is a foot long then call and get yelled at by the staff then use them. Otherwise, I would advise you to steer clear.
Timothy Thompson: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueAbsolutely phenomenal! I had damaged my Husqvarna riding tractor pretty bad. Bob showed up and within 2 minutes diagnosed what was broken. He had it fixed the broken parts and put brand new blades on in 15 minutes flat! To top it off, the pricing was more than reasonable. Thanks you guys are awesome!
Charles Backman: Made an appointment to repair my lawn tractor. Gave them model number, called back later to confirm and tell them which part needed repair. They booked appointment, said they could service. 2 weeks later, when they didn't show up for appointment I called and they informed me they don't service my model mower. I am left trying to book an appointment now with another shop that I could have booked 2 weeks ago, meanwhile my lawn is going to be a foot high,
Rachael M: Positive:Professionalism,Quality,Responsiveness,ValueThey came right to my house and fixed the mower in under an hour for an affordable rate. Thanks guys!
maureen callahan: All I can say is you are crazy not to use this service. He comes to your house fixes your stuff in 30 minutes and your good for another year. No problems. Easy peezy. Never had to call back it's fixed right the first time every time.
Geoffrey Poster: Called and booked an appointment for someone to come check out our snow blower on a Saturday. Admittedly, I'm sure Saturdays are a pretty popular day to call, but it took over an hour to get past a busy signal (didn't realize businesses still used these) and a couple of calls as my first connection was dropped. I was finally able to schedule a service trip that at the earliest was 11 days out. I was fine with this since there wasn't more snow in the forecast, but when the day arrived they were a no show. I called the office and again had to try multiple times due to busy signals and when I finally got through, I was put on hold multiple times while they figured out what went wrong. It turns out they never actually booked the appointment on their end that I had scheduled with them. They found the record of me calling and I was told that I would get a call back within the hour to reschedule if I still wanted to, to which I said yes. However, I never got that call back and I don't plan on trying to call again. It's a shame because I really liked the setup of having a tech come to me at my home, but now I'll be looking for service elsewhere.

Chuck's Small Engine Repair: what do users think?
Thomas Devellis: Chuck is honest and stands by his work. His prices are very reasonable and his integrity goes without saying. He repaired a 25 year old Ariens snowblower for me and now it starts on the first pull and runs like a new machine.
jonathan rubin: My snowblower would not start. Chuck serviced it, including replacing the carburetor, and it started great. I moved from MA to PA the next year, including having the snowblower sit in storage for 4 months. I added gas and it started up on the first pull. Thanks Chuck!
Rubg F: Fantastic service, extremely knowledgeable and treats people like people not dollar signs. I won’t go anywhere else for small engine services.
Shelley Lipman: Chuck is great! Many other small-engine-repair places won't fix older engines, but he's fixed our snowblower, lawnmower, and generator. Great service and prices!
RuthElyn Rivanis: Fantastic job. Great delivery.
Christine Cobuzzi: Chuck is amazing! We found him through a referral on Nextdoor. When we got the mower back it worked better than it ever had. Other people have worked on it before but it never ran this good. Very honest with what we needed and didn't need. Will definitely be calling him for future service.
Bob M: Awesome experience. Fixed by Snowblower last winter. Was fair and honest. Lining up my generator for a tune up now. Thanks, Chuck!
Jacob Clever: Great service on my Toro weed trimmer! Extremely helpful and fast. Wonderful experience from start to finish - highly recommend him.
Holly Johnson: Knowledgeable, friendly, and prompt service. Overall very happy, would go back
Leisa Risher: Excellent service.
David Reinold: Amazing customer service and professionalism. Lawn mower, weed wacker, leaf blower as well as my generator all serviced by chuck and they run great.
Nancy Sawyer: called last min to have my snow blower repaired talked to chucks he asked me what was wrong with it and told me how to fix it myself at no charge talk about being honest he could have just serviced it and made some money Thanks and I will have him service all my equipment in the future.
Donna Moore: Highly recommended! Repaired generator for price and time frame quoted. Excellant customer service.
Phil Rines: My lawn tractor was throwing the drive belt. Not knowing whether it was a transmission or pulley issue, I took it to Chuck. I consider this to be a difficult reason to find. Chuck found the issue at a reasonable price considering the effort expended to find it. I'll recommend him to friends as well as return to him for my business. Thanks Again Phil
Chrystle McGee: After hearing it was going to take 7 to 10 days to get my snow blower back I was a little hesitant, but then other places told me up to 3 weeks, so I choose this place. Well, he was able to pick mine up from my house that morning and had it back to me by 3 pm SAME DAY! Great service and reasonably priced.
Sirena Rivanis: Great costumer service, very friendly, great price. Would definitely recommend.
