Scott M: 10-25-2022;Like my 4th time there. I brought a small carburetor gasket with me. Guy at the counter said he was Unfamiliar with it. Was hoping for some quick advice and/or them to use a special tool to help me out. he went out back with my gasket but, the mechanic would NOT come out to talk to me.The counter guy said he was explaining to me how to install it but, didn’t want to admit that he didn’t know himself. Wasn’t looking for freebie. In short, wanted me too have them fully serviced my lawn more or buy a brand new one, otherwise theyDON’T WANT MY BUSINESS!!Sent me on my way.*Lesson; if you help people when they are in a pinch, you might have a customer for life!! When you play dumb and turn people away. They Don’t come back - and they Tell their friends!! Goodbye.

Thomas Johnson: We recently purchased a new home in Ayer and wanted to have a standby generator installed. We spoke with several other companies, but after speaking with Tom Huff from Cason's we knew we wanted to have Cason's install our generator. Tom Huff made several suggestions regarding the location and installation of the generator, and that coupled with the best price we received for the work convinced us.While it took about 2 months for the installation, it was worth the wait. The crew who initially delivered the unit and emplaced it did an excellent job. The plumber, Andy did an excellent job connecting the generator to the gas line. He arrived as promised and did a neat and professional job connecting the generator, going as far as painting the gas lines he installed. The team of 3 electricians arrived as promised and immediately started the installation. This crew was very neat and professional, and completed their job approximately 2 hours faster than they initially stated.After the installation, they walked through the operation of the generator and did an initial test of the system.Upon completion of the job, Mr Tom Cason called to ensure that everything was completed to our satisfaction. Suffice it to say, selecting Cason Equipment was the right choice for us.

Two days before the snowstorm, we were in desperate need to get our snowblower up and working. We called his office and he went above and beyond and offered to pick up our snowblower. A day after fixing it, he personally delivered our snowblower to our home, just in time before the snowstorm. We highly recommend Potvins Small Engine Repair and we will definitely be using his services in the future.
tim g.: Called to schedule repair of a broken pull-start recoiler on my 22” push mower. While waiting for return call.. I searched online for instructions and needed parts... decided to go at it on my own by drilling out rivets that hold recoiler to engine. When he called back later same day.. I told him my plans and he gave me instructions on the correct way to do it without having to drill out the rivets. He was very honest and respectable, and willing to help out even though he knew I wasn’t giving him business for this small repair job. I will definitely be using Potvins in the future for larger repair jobs.Thank you for saving me a bunch of time and headaches!!!

Matt Phelan: I called an left a message to get my snow blower to start after not winterizing it properly, and to get my reverse gear fixed. I was told its 70 dollars for pick up, and return and that I would receive a price for the cost to repair. The next day comes, and he tells me that my snow blower is ready and it will cost 430 dollars. He took it upon him to: A-: fix anything without my approval before contacting me with a price- B: he also took it upon himself to replace skid plate, tubes, replace the oil, (fill tires, which he really made out to sound like a difficult and strenuous thing to do)- These are all things I do on my own., When I asked him about this he accused me and said I never asked for him to tell me a cost before doing any work, which was a lie. He also started to accuse me of messing with my own snow blower, and replacing it with fake parts. The only thing I have done is self maintenance, cleaning and putting everything back as is. He then tries to tell me the the bowl for my carburetor can only be purchased in China- but yet its on Amazon for 7.99. Lastly- he asks me where I bought it- I told him home depot. He insists I am lying, and that home depot does not sell Troy Bilt snow blowers. I have everything on camera and audio proof. Once i told him I am taking him to court his tune changed. This guys is a scumbag- I wouldn't trust him.

If you want good work, done quickly at a fair price, then this is your person. He will educate you on what happened, will diagnose for a fee and will repair for labor and parts. He is a lost art, the art of fixing something instead of throwing it out and buying a new one.

Don Flumerfelt: Not too many places like this anymore. Independently owned. Great resource if you just want to get the parts you need and fix the machine instead of having trying to sell you a new machine. This place has affordable used rope starters and electric starters for old machines. We picked up a used rope starter here today for our 40 year old Toro! He even had used electric starters that would fit this machine. A place like this can be a real find for the do-it-yourselfer looking for a place to buy parts without someone trying to sell you a new machine when all you need is the right part.
Del Idoubella: The worst repair shop ever, i would never, never, never, ever recommend this scammer to anyone, I was charged 65,00$ for diagnostic after one week the scammer call me telling me that the mower need major work, a "machine that was bought 1 year ago", the scammer said its not worth to repair it will cost a lot, he wants to throw the mower out for me like he is a nice guy, right away he offer me a used mower for sale , I said no I ll take my machine ,here is the bizarre line that choked me, the scammer want to charge me $25 to put the mower back together,clamed that he can't waste time on the machine after I decide to take it . i was so mad, I took my mower pieces try to find another place, later on me and a friend of mine tried to assemble the mower, there we found out that gas tank was missing, the scammer stoled it, then I new he want to take my mower fixe it and sale it to somebody else, am pretty sure he did the same thing with the owner of the Toro that he want to sale for $175. Be careful America I had warned you from this unprofessional crooks, this is the truth.
