The waitresses and cooks make the best food and drunks you could ask for at anytime of the afternoon till the the late am. The meatloaf is a tasty cuilinary treat that melts in the mouth filled with veggies and potatop drizzled in fantastic gravy made to make any man moan. If you find yourself looking for a good pint look no further as the worthen will provide you with a huge selection of local and far away beers. If your a punk this is the place for you live music in the upstairs a bit hot but the fire music makes up for it all. The amount of stickers licks the air with taste for high quality local musicians that have strutted their stuff through here for years making your night dance away as you stomp your feet through these legendary halls. If your about history like me these halls have hosted legendary poets such as Edgar allen poe and his compatriots of fine word and pen. The origianl fan that you can see adorning the ceiling has been here longer then any man alive been on this planet worked by a fine belt and cleaned quite regularly. Find yourself with a pint and a good friend at the worthen it will delight your night. Stay safe and seize the night 5 out of 5 forks from the beast.
John Holdsworth: So strange that this place puts out good food. The kitchen is about 10 square feet but the food is really good. Burgers and sandwiches are tasty. Old school bar with I think the only place in the country with belt driven ceiling fans. Also cold beer and jello shots!

bill stoney: So much fun today. There were 25-30 of us ordering drinks, apps and burgers, etc. The waitress did an excellent job getting us all served hot food and cold drinks, without any waiting, and making us feel welcome. Great place, will definitely return.
Torin Zender: The Worthen is a must-hit spot in Lowell. Known for its history with Edgar Allen Poe, it's a classic Lowell spot. Space is cramped, and it may take a bit to get a drink, but the atmosphere is fantastic.

Ron Nussle: I was a little confused at first because the pop-ups I was getting on my computer refer to the Raven inn and when I got there I saw Northern house but there were a whole bunch of pictures of ravens so I felt fairly safe LOL. I think it was the owner who was doing the cooking his name was Paul and what a nice guy very accommodating and I could not complain about the meal at all I had asked for a combination of fries and onion rings the waitress said they can't do that and Paul says yes I can and he did everything was done to perfection.
Patricia Metzler: Very reasonable prices on the menu. Food was good. They have a updated Jude box there. They also have the lottery, including keno, high low, scratch tickets and the daily numbers that you can play there while you eat. Very enjoyable.

Keith Foisy: The Old Court has always been a great place to visit and I've been a patron for 20 years. I don't go quite as often, but when I lived in Lowell from 2007-2013, I went often. What I kiss the most was their Sunday brunch. Killer corned beef hash.I went a couple weeks ago for a few pints and to this day, one of the best and proper pours of Guiness in the area. Also enjoyed a gigantic Turkey Club and sweet potato fries.Go and have a good time at The Ood Court.

Got there at 9 the vibe was ok, but the problem was the homeless, there was like 5 or 6 walking around the area panhandling, some were strung out. Nobody was doing anything to get them out and they kept interrupting my date. Then the cops got called on the sober house built in and before that druggies we're constantly coming out on bikes. Tom Catyb: Okay....came here for a change of pace. Definitely not the place for a 65 yo. However, food and beer selection were both very good. Minimum food selection, but what a surprise. Burgers were great, fries were a surprise and onion rings were superb. Service is a little strange as you go to the bar and order and watch for your own stuff to come out of kitchen. Weird, but hey....clean, music was loud but not overwhelming. I'd send the kids back and I'd come back if it was closer or I was in the neighborhood.

I’ve seen myself and had multiple friends share experiences of being harassed and targeted by some of the white staff. Definitely a weird white skinhead space. The bartenders are all rude. Service is awful.

H: Bad service , unwelcoming bartenders (who hardly ever serve up a drink every time I’ve gone or come to my table to ask my order) a sober house is on top of it and there’s always druggies outside. I’ve given this place a try multiple times because I like the people who go, but every time I’ve either left annoyed or empty handed because I couldn’t even GET service. Even watched the bartender grab a girls wrist and accuse her of having a fake ID when the girl is 25 years old. She threw the ID and was clearly drunk. Never ever going back

Patrick D: This is an excellent tavern (by definition a tavern is more upscale than a bar). The food is excellent and the prices reflect the effort that the proprietors have put into bringing the servings to the table. I say this because certain reviewers have called it, “a bit pricey for Lowell.” No, it was only pricey for them. This is a beloved tavern in Lowell and yes, Lowell does deserve good things. The Phantom Gourmet gave The Keep a rave review and you should take that advice over the Troglodytes that can’t afford a 20% tip for the service.
Ryan Burke: My wife and I have been going to the Keep since they opened. We love the vibe there and the owner is one of the best people you’ll find anywhere. Down to earth, friendly and accommodating. I love the rotating cocktail menu and the wings are the best I’ve ever had. For dinner I typically go with either the burger, the gumbo, the brick chicken, or the ribeye. All 4 are excellent options, but you honestly can’t go wrong with anything there. For dessert, I highly recommend their carrot cake, trust me, as someone who hates standard carrot cake fare, they have elevated it beyond what I ever would have expected.

Francis Ekidor: We liked the Keep! We were there on a Sunday, shortly before the kitchen opened up again after brunch. Our cocktails, a dark and stormy and a winter cosmo, were excellent. The beer list is on a chalkboard and extensive. We ordered the dry rub wings with remoulade, which were excellent, not greasy at all. The herb roasted cauliflower was wonderful. We split a burger and fries, both fine. We sat in the dining room, relatively empty when we were there but I could see it could be noisy if busy. Service was friendly and attentive and the patrons were an eclectic group. We will go back.

Ishan Pai: I came here today for first time. Love mexican food in general , but this place is up to the next great level. I totally love the flavors involved here in every dish that they make. I got the shredded chicken chimichangas, and my friend got a fish dish which was quite big. Portions are quite generous, and they make you full. Although i would love some level of spice too, it caters to most of your tastebuds. Overall, they serve great food and service. Would recommend it to everyone!
