Susan Bergeron: Recently Alfanio Silva from Life Stone came to my home to clean, refurbish, and seal my 14 year old black (green butterfly) granite countertops. The counters were dull and showed all fingerprints from years of caring for them using the wrong products. They now look as good as when first installed due to Alfanio’s expertise.
JHB 277: Responding to a highly respected recommendation we contacted Afranio Da Silva and his Life Stone Pro company to clean and seal our large matte-finished quartzite kitchen counters and a granite bathroom vanity. We also had him restore an 18-year-old marble bathroom vanity that had become seriously etched and gouged. He was as good as the recommender said he would be.Alfranio came promptly, explained in detail what was needed, engaged in careful preparation for all the sites, was meticulous in his work, cleaned up carefully and delivered more than we expected. The troubled bathroom vanity looks better than when it was new.Quite knowledgeable about a variety of stone materials, Afranio educated us regarding proper care and maintenance, offered to provide specialized supplies, and promised to stand behind his work without any short-term warranty limitations.He is thoughtful, polite, and highly professional. We too are pleased to highly recommend him.

Deb Waters: Alfanio came to do the Anti Etch on our marble countertops in our kitchen a couple of month ago.He is very responsive and extremely nice to work with. He was patient as we made our decision and was ready to do the work when we committed. We had a lot of etching and marks on our marble that he was able to remove and protect.He is very meticulous about the work he does. He was able to restore the marble and make it look like new again.After a couple of months, the marble etched with the protective coat. Alfanio was quick to respond and came to restore the etching under the warranty. He advised me to use the products specifically for the Anti Etch educating me on best practices.We highly recommend his work and am glad that we put the AntiEtch on the marble. We are able to enjoy the marble more without the worry.

Gena Mercier: Although the end result was not 100%, my husband and I feel it was 95%. However, we want to elaborate that it was "no fault" of Life Stone (Alfanio). In fact, when Alfanio saw in person what the situation was, he stated it was the "nature of the stone", and clearly explained that trying to repair it could result in a worse condition (we were told upfront the area behind faucet could not be fixed, nor the rough Granite just inside right-hand sink). We gave the go ahead and hoped for the best. Under the circumstances with this stone, we feel Alfanio did a great job! The seam was very sloppy from initial installers and Alfanio did a "fantastic" job smoothing it out. We were also given a lifetime warranty for the sealer (which was an unexpected bonus). We highly recommend Life Stone (Alfanio) to anyone requiring the service of grinding, polishing and resealing. In fact we definitely would call upon Alfanio for any future needs that may come up.

chris desimone: I used this company once before and unfortunately never again. I picked out a granite top for my kitchen. They texted asking if I had a sink or would be using theres. I asked the price and when we didn’t hear back we went and bought a sink. They sent a text asking and I said no we bought a sink. We didn’t hear back from you? They cut the granite already assuming. So the sink I bought wouldn’t fit. They gave me a sink and kept the sink I bought that was a lot nicer. I get a call from my tenant that the guys left and didn’t put the stuff inside the granite and get it all set. That’s when the company told me oh they don’t install any of that just the granite. Well if they at least let us know we would of made arrangements because now my tenants are without a running sink. Company is very unattive to customers

carolyn rosenfeld: 73 year old widow here.I ordered and paid for a countertop. the installers were 4 hours late to show up. They wouldn’t respond to calls. They damaged my appliances,gouged my kitchen floors by dragging the stove. Replaced the stove without leveling the legs so that it’s uneven with the countertop. My dishwasher wiggles when I touch it. One section of the backsplash isn’t grouted to the wall.Francisco Portillo owns both Worcester Stone and Granite and Bath and Company at the Liberty Tree Mall. That fact was withheld from me as I was tossed back and forth between the two.Francisco’s son Lucas, came into my home and then tried to threaten me. He lied that spackle was the same as grout when dried.Francisco and an installer apologized for the damages but he refuses to compensate for damages.I’m now forced to take him to small claims court.

They have great selection and prices are very competitive. Service is great from selection, measuring to installation. Definitely will recommend this place for any counter top project.

I did put down a deposit but I was still so impressed with how they were able to pick my project right back up recently and help me finalize. They were polite, communicated well, and the vanity top is absolutely gorgeous. Will definitely be working with them again for our next project!

Kim at StoneOne was by far the nicest and most helpful person I spoke to. With her experience and knowledge, she patiently talked me through the process, and I was able to find just what I was looking for. We worked out every detail over several phone conversations and emails! Then she passed me on to Chris for scheduling, which went smoothly. When the installers came with the granite, they did an excellent job, really paying attention to all the details, and left me with a clean and professionally completed job.
