Gabe F: I have never had to deal with such a horrible company before, the staff are nice enough, but that is not where their issues arise: It's the owner.I will list all the problems that I have had with Wilmington Masonry in a short amount of time:- They overcharged me for product- Damaged my truck when picking up sand and dust- Charged me twice the set fee for delivery- Then proceeded to deliver the wrong stone, but charged me for the right one- They charge you $25 if your stone comes with a pallet, claiming that its some special kind of pallet. It's not. Its wood and recycled, and no one else charges for pallets when you're already paying a thousand dollars for stone- They don't know the name of their own products, and it was not until I looked on my receipt that I was able to know the name of the stone I bought- The owner told me I owed them money for stone, and when I asked him why, he gave same bull answer. But, I told him I did not, as it was all paid for. Then when the owner said he was going to get the receipt to show that I owed money, turns out I didn't, and he was wrong. Yet, somehow it was still my fault?- Took them 35 minutes to help me when I was there- He will tell you to call the office, then when you do no one is there. They just don't want to deal with you.- The guy that runs the place is extremely rude and arrogant, and if you ask him a question about the products he sells, he will respond with "I don't know everything" and then brush you off and walk away or he will just ignore you all together- They have to "special order" everything, have very little in stock (Do yourself a favor, and go to Georgetown Building Supply, everything that Wilmington masonry had to order, and wait a week for, Georgetown had in stock and ready for pickup that second)You would think that the list stops there, but it doesn't. I refuse to dedicate this much time to this company again, and the only reason I leave this review now is so other people do not have to go through what they put me through. If I could give zero stars, I would. Unfortunately, I cannot. Best of luck if you decide to deal with Wilmington Masonry, you're gonna need it.

Rude, creepy little man at the front desk Demanded a bunch of information and inspiration pics before we could even look in the show room, which we made it clear was all we wanted to do and that we knew what we wanted and didn’t need help. Felt like applying for a passport. He wanted to know where we live and what kind of house..yuck. He even started asking me about collage. He wouldn’t answer very simple questions about availability, too busy asking weird personal questions. When we decided we didn’t want to deal with him anymore (honestly we saw better options elsewhere anyway) he threw a tantrum and started yelling more questions at us as we walked out the front door, including screaming at us to tell him where else we’re going to shop. Honestly I wondered was there a substunce abuse issue going on because it was far beyond bad customer service. Hope he gets whatever help he needs 🙏

Will Henderson: Worst experience I have ever had trying to buy something. Went in looking for thin brick for my home remodel and was hounded incessantly by the man who handles the selling floor. He demanded to know what color we wanted and where we lived before we could even look at the samples. He talked so fast I couldn’t understand half of what he said. He hassled us about what type of brick we wanted and refused to listen to us about what we wanted. Then when we finally gave up and decided to leave he became angry demanded to know where else we were going to buy our brick, taunting us as we left. The whole experience felt like I was dealing with a used car salesman. If you enjoy being treated like trash then go here otherwise you should look elsewhere.

Roger Banes: Had a great buying experience here several years ago, but have since received several fraudulent invoices and statements from this company although our construction company never opened a credit line here. I tried calling the company once 2 years ago to rectify the problem, and they admitted the statements were generated by accident, but I have still continued to receive invoices from them - one coming just the other week about a supposedly recent purchase although I have not purchased anything from this company for years. I just wanted to mention this in case any other customers might be receiving wrong bills as well.

They have to be nice with customer and try to give you the best attention because they are there to help and feel customer as best they can.

But apparently it was just too much to ask for the big guy at the desk, who was very agitated by my question. No clue why.

Issac Stickley: I have purchased cut granite stones and blocks as well as bulk "blasted ledge". Happy with the prices and quality of everything I have purchased - The problem is having to deal with the staff. Every single person who answers the phone or who you visit in person at the desk makes you feel like you are a nuisance to them. Each time I need to call and order, I dread dealing with who is going to pick up the phone.

The person whom I worked with was patient in helping me decide on what to pick for stair slabs and the slabs were ready for pick up in 10 days. I decided to come back to martignetti's to order some pavers due to my previous experience. This time.. it wasn't so pleasant. The person whom I worked with this time was rude and it took over twice as long as the quoted time frame. Due to my most recent experience, I will not be back.
